For what projects/services did your company hire Kalapa Design Studio, and what were your goals?

We were looking for a design agency to help us with our brand identity and logotype design. We wanted to create a brand that will say "Mexico" and "Real Estate" just by looking at the logo.

How did you select this vendor?

We searched for agencies that have worked with blockchain projects before. Not only did Kalapa already have experience working in the space, but they are also located in Chicago. Working with people from the same city made me feel extremely comfortable

From the get-go I knew I had made the right choice. The first meeting went great, Manuel and Chris asked questions about the project and what we were looking to get out of working with them. Once everyone understood what the project was about, they were all in on the idea of bringing it to life. After joining the Slack channel, both parties entered into an agreement over the compensation and services that were being provided.

Working with Manuel and Chris was a lot of fun actually. It always felt like they took my suggestions and complaints seriously, they always valued my opinion. After weeks of going back and forth with the design team through the different iterations of the brand, we ended creating exactly what I was looking for. I honestly couldn't believe they managed to do such a great job executing the vision I had in my mind.

I worked with Chris, Manuel, Carlos, and Victor. Chris is the Co-Founder, Manuel the Executive Assistant, Carlos is the Lead Design, and Victor is the Project Manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have not launched our website or social media channels as of this review. However, we are extremely comfortable in saying that our brand will be able to distinguish itself from any other blockchain project or real estate fund out there. It's undeniably unique and of a kind.

Since they are a remote agency Kalapa uses a mix between video calls, emails, and slack channels in order to keep in touch with their clients. They are always on point with their scheduling and never cancelled/showed up late to any meeting. Truly a joy to work with.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Literally the fact that they cared so much about bringing my vision into reality. As a startup, working with people who want your product/service to come to life is crucial and that is the feeling I got working with Kalapa Agency. What I loved most about working with Kalapa was that they understood the task at hand and executed with precision.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I would have liked to have spoken to Carlos a bit more just because he was the one that was directly working on the designs. It would have been nice to have him in the slack channel with the rest of the crew.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Throughout the revision process they were highly communicative, open to feedback, and provided a quick turnaround. They even helped out when we ran into server configuration issues between our site and app, which was great knowing they were willing to help out even if out of scope. I've already referred a handful of my own network to their team and they've been able to also put out the same quality of work for them. It's a pleasure working with the Kalapa team!
