We began the project with some preparatory work, which included talking about the structure of the development process. Following that, we discussed the website's vision, objective, and purpose in a workshop.

They moved the website to a commercial hosting server from the server of a conference management company. They helped us with content revisions and created a very user-friendly user interface by integrating Gutenberg into the website.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have received really favorable response from our organization's members. More than 80% of respondents to the pop-up survey we used to get feedback on the website expressed satisfaction with the content, as well as the way it feels and appears.

Apart from that, our organization's two biggest problems managing its member relationships and document version control were much alleviated by the new website. In the past, we kept documents in several locations. Our website has made it simple for users to access papers. We can now quickly discover the information we need by sorting and filtering our documents, whether they are restricted resources like council minutes or previous instructional materials.

Kaizen's performance in project management was excellent. The website was delivered one week past the originally scheduled date, and the sole reason for the delay was the extra modifications we asked for.

They're working on a tablet application that runs on the web. They first developed workflows, but they are currently focusing on implementation. To support our supply and demand planning, the app is gathering information on our day-to-day activities. Additionally, it gathers information from other programs and keeps it in a single, easily accessible spot.

They've done a fantastic job creating what we desire. They have fixed any small issues that we have discovered. To make the transfer easier, they have even assisted in training our staff.

There is good communication. We communicate via email and hold meetings several times a week. The business analyst, with whom I primarily interact, has done an excellent job of absorbing our information and communicating it to the IT team.

Kaizen Apps considered our older version of the mobile app and redesigned it from the ground up to provide our customers with an innovative app to access their data. Their team led the development processes, utilizing our previous app’s API and documentation. We worked with Kaizen Apps to enhance the app’s features and UX; they added a customer support feedback tab and user avatars, amongst other modernizations.

After we finalized the scope of work, they began the design phase. Kaizen Apps developed the wireframes and then began working on high-fidelity images. Once the design process was complete, Kaizen Apps began developing the app based on our defined workflows.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Kaizen Apps is about 95% done with the development phase. Once our final quality control testing is complete, we’ll push the app to market. My company is pleased with the work Kaizen Apps has done so far; we’ve already engaged them on another project.

Kaizen Apps has missed a few target deadlines, but that is common for an app development project like ours. Communication with Kaizen Apps has been great, and they made proactive changes to the project management team to improve our workflow.

I think a more integrated QC process would’ve gotten us over the finish line faster, but otherwise, I can’t think of any ways Kaizen Apps could improve.

We successfully completed a fully functional platform that can onboard hundreds of beta users, allowing them to search, filter, and save items on the site. The platform also connects to other sites for essential data.
