At Erie Insurance we faced challenges with data management and our clients not having access to our service until they come to our office. Customers struggled with a complicated and inefficient platform, making it difficult to engage with our services, Jelvix was hired to solve this challenges by building a custom software using react native allowing customers to have easy access to our services across multiple devices. Internally, Jelvix implemented a powerful data management system that not only organized and secured our information but also ensured that all data is regularly backed up and easily accessible.

Truth be told we have seen highly remarkable results ever since we hired this agency. Since we launched the software customers can now access our services easily, with perfect experience across all devices. At our own end we now have have full control over our data, improving efficiency and productivity.

At CCS, we help people with diabetes get the supplies and supports they need to manage their conditions at home. Before hiring Jelvix, we had some challenges. Patients often forgot to take their medication or ran out of supplies because there was no easy way to track what they needed. Many struggled to stay on top of their treatment, and there wasn’t a simple way for them to get help or ask questions. Jelvix built a mobile and web application that changed all that. Now, patients get automatic reminders for their medication, can track their supplies, and reorder with just a few clicks. The app also has a dashboard where they can check their blood sugar levels, schedule virtual visits with health coaches, and access helpful tips and resources. Everything is designed to be simple, so patients don’t feel overwhelmed. Plus, the app is fully secure, so their personal information stays safe.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Ever since we launched the app, we have seen measurable outcomes. More patients are sticking to their treatments plan and the rate of missed doses is now low. The supply tracking feature means they dont run out of their medications and the coaching tools are helping them feel more confident about managing their health. Our team can also keep track of patient progress more easily, which helps us step in sooner if someone needs extra support.

We get a family atmosphere, not a corporate feel. They’ve never missed any meetings. If we get on a quick call or need them to be there, they’re always available.

Jelvix has an attentive team available for us at all hours of the day despite our time zone differences — whenever I send them a message, they get back to us immediately. In addition, they deliver everything within deadlines and on budget and are responsive to our feedback. Regarding communication, we use Slack and GitLab.

Jelvix is based in Ukraine, and their team has been able to overcome the Russian Invasion challenges to deliver good work.

We submitted a list of features that we would like developed by describing the user experience result, not the how we wanted them to accomplish these goals. We were looking for a partner that be able to suggest the best approach for delivering our user experience, not someone that would just build from our checklist.

We met several times with their management to determine their ability to serve our needs, agreed upon a budget and scope and were provided a project manager whom we have met with at least weekly since commencing our first project with them. They built solutions in AR for iOS as well as administrative front and backend elements needed to test, deploy and maintain certain features.

They developed SDKs for integration by our internal tech team into our existing app and supported this process, iterating and refining as necessary.

We are still in beta testing phase, but the features built by Jelvix have been exceptional and critical to our ability to demonstrate our value prop to potential clients, excite users in private testing and secure initial funding. Truly, we would not have been gaining the exciting traction we have without their excellent work.

We meet weekly for approx 1hr with our Jelvix project manager via google video calls to discuss dev status and make adjustments to the multiple features they are building based upon our changing needs. We also communicate via email and Slack daily.

Their ability to deliver complex, cutting-edge solutions in an efficient (on budget) and high-quality manner together with their willingness to work extra hours whenever we needed to meet our internally changing deadlines. I joined Nexus beginning of August 2021 and was asked by the CEO to give my opinion on the work Jelvix had produced so far. I looked into what had been specified and what had been delivered and found it was of a very good quality- I asked a question of the Nexus team: what did they think of what Nexus had delivered and they all agreed it was very good quality.

The project management I have experienced since my start Aug 2021 has been very proactive - the style is collaborative and consultative and as with many startups they are flexible to the fluidity of changes in decisions.

I have run and worked development teams for over 25 years and for me as DCIO it is great to have a partner where they have access to an extensive range of technical and project skills with a background of diverse projects to help support an enterprise that is in its nascent form.
