BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the vice president of technology and product development for a small tech company owned by a real estate investment entrepreneur. My job is to oversee projects, find resources, coordinate them, and make everything happen.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Jelvix?
The company began with our owner’s idea for an app. They had little experience with computers, so it was my job to determine the technology direction, high-level design, and resources necessary to execute. We turned to Jelvix as our development arm.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We came up with a detailed product spec with an analyst from Jelvix. From that, they developed resource and timeframe estimates and technology requirements. They were responsible for all the frontline development work. The app was for iOS and Android and had a web-based admin panel. They hosted it on AWS.
Currently, they’re working on a social network that facilitates issue-based communications and discussions. We want to encourage people to respond to questions about different issues with supporting documentation, references, and URLs in a well-mannered way. The system doesn’t generate user profiles as we want people to feel free to express themselves and their opinions without worrying they’re being turned into a product.
What is the team composition?
We started with a project manager and then added a couple of developers. There were front- and backend developers, database developers, a web developer, a part-time UI/UX designer, and a part-time QA resource. They were flexible and added other resources as needed.
How did you come to work with Jelvix?
Once I knew what we wanted to do and how we wanted to do it, I started looking for specific resources located relatively near Atlanta—a good-sized tech hub in the area. I wanted to find a consulting partner that could help me with the development and some of the design, but I didn’t want to recruit an entire company
Lots of companies were willing to recruit people for us, but they didn’t have anyone on staff to do the work themselves. I ended up being referred to Jelvix by a cloud services representative I was talking to about our problems.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $200,000–$300,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from June 2016 until September 2018. We’re tweaking things now, but all the functionality is there. We’ll start beta testing in the next month or so.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve been getting great responses from our usability testing. One of the most important questions was whether users would find a set of tasks interesting or fun after going through them. Invariably, the feedback has been good. The graphic design, UI, and UX are cool and exciting thanks to what Jelvix brought to the table.
I’ve been working with computers for a long time and don’t have much experience with newer technology. Jelvix brought some of that current experience along with their relatively young perspective.
How did Jelvix perform from a project management standpoint?
I communicated with the project manager on a daily basis, and we periodically Skyped, either by ourselves or with the developers. I was concerned with how communication would work initially, but we talked over email and used Trello for document sharing.
The team mostly remained the same for the three years we worked together, and I only had one project manager. They have excellent English skills, so it’s not a problem that some of the developers don’t’ know it. I also had an outstanding experience with a designer they brought on.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They contributed new ideas and concepts to the table. Even when I had a decent idea of what I wanted to do, my project manager would email me after meeting with the developer or designer and share any ideas they had. I felt like they were true partners that took ownership of the project and weren’t just marching along to my orders. They provided not only knowledge, but enthusiasm, creativity, and ideas.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there wasn’t anything.
UPDATED REVIEW
This review was updated on September 3rd, 2019, by the client. New content is below.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We previously submitted a review of Jelvix based on our work with them on a specific project. Since that time, we have been working with them on another project and this review reflects that experience. Jelvix is really great to work with, and it’s easy to give them a terrific review!
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Jelvix?
We were asked by a client to develop a proprietary social network that included features and functionality not found in any commercial product. Our budget was 1.2 million dollars and we were required to hit periodic benchmarks. We had about 18 months to develop, test, refine, and go live with the product.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We were already working with Jelvix on another project, so partnering with them on this engagement was the obvious choice. Having already established a productive working relationship with Jelvix, we could engage immediately with the project team that they assembled for us. As with our other project, Jelvix was deeply engaged in the entire life-cycle of development, from analysis to UI/UX design, from concept to coding.
What is the team composition?
As before, we had a dedicated project manager who was experienced in app- and web-based development work. Following the model we had established with our other project, we assembled a Ukraine-based team of frontend (iOS and Android) developers, a backend and database developer, a full-time QA tester, and graphic designers as required. We also had input and assistance from Jelvix’s chief architect, chief designer, as well as input from periodic focus groups.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We are planning to go live with this product in November. Fairly late in the game our client made changes to the product requirements, which they expected would set the development back by 6–9 months.
However, because of the modular nature of the product’s architecture, the effective use of agile Scrum methodology, and the high degree of motivation on the part of our development team, we were able to digest these changes and only add two months to the schedule.
How did Jelvix perform from a project management standpoint?
We have a dedicated Jelvix project manager, who deals directly with a dedicated US-based project manager. They communicate daily in English via email, Skype, and Trello.
To be clear, in the US we have executive oversight of the project, as well as a dedicated project manager. All other personnel are provided by Jelvix in Kharkov, Ukraine.
Whenever we needed some specialized expertise, for example in the area of data security, Jelvix was able to find an in-house or external expert who could provide the knowledge and direction that we required.
What did you find most impressive about them?
What most impressed us was the project ownership that Jelvix displays. Our developers are constantly giving us ideas and coming up with suggestions to improve the product. They are very highly motivated and excited to work on this project. Periodically, Jelvix assembles in-house and external focus groups to provide feedback on the design and functionality.

Jelvix provided R&D to build a cross-platform mobile app that utilizes blockchain technology to exchange digital content. Responsibilities spanned market research, ideation, UI/UX design, and MVP development.
The finished platform is excellent, meeting the company’s requirements as well as their business goals. Jelvix’s team developed a product that satisfied both beta testers and end-users, while working hard throughout and displaying an excellent attitude.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a marketing company that works with tech companies and startups. The project I've been a part of is an innovative digital content exchange platform with decentralized content licensing. We hired Jelvix to build an R&D center to bring our idea to life.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Jelvix?
Our team wanted to create a high-level digital content exchange platform based on blockchain technology. We thought that our existing solutions weren’t good enough and that there were lots of problems that could be solved. We decided to go with an initial coin offering (ICO) to attract people and let them know about our platform and idea.
We needed a good team that could help us research our niche, identify the needed functionalities, and create a reliable, secure platform. This involved understanding our niche and industry problems, helping us figure out the best solution, doing UI/UX design, developing and testing the software, and preparing all the necessary documents for the ICO stage.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
After conducting market research to identify existing problems, Jelvix helped us brainstorm the project concept. The team then helped us find the perfect set of functionalities and features of our future platform. For example, they introduced the idea of using AI to approve content rather than having a manual process, the latter of which is used now by all major digital media exchanges.
The project started with the MVP development. They recommended beginning with a mobile app because it was the easiest way to show and test our ideas with consumers. We had initially visualized a different design for the app but found that it wasn’t user-friendly at all. Jelvix found a better solution for us, designing a new UI/UX. The app was written as cross-platform, using React Native.
What is the team composition?
I worked with a UI/UX designer, a project coordinator, a core business analyst and copywriter who helped us with documentation, two backend developers, one frontend developer, and a QA tester.
How did you come to work with Jelvix?
I did some research and found that the market was saturated, which made it hard to choose. I asked friends, as I know a lot of tech companies and startups. One of them had worked with Jelvix on a small project and was completely satisfied with the experience.
I asked them about their expertize with blockchain and security as I wanted to know if they could provide business logic and market analysis. The last element was that they had a design team. Often, providers will have good engineering support, but design won’t be their strong point.
How much have you invested with them?
The first stage was about $80,000. Including the second stage and design, it came to more than $200,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from September 2017–March or April 2018.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Photographers, content creators, and content consumers can use the platform now that it’s been launched to the market. Many of them were really amazed by the design. It’s striking and qualitative, while still being to the point. The security was also a huge plus point. They did security audits, ensuring that everything was perfect in that area.
We had an ICO presale phase, in order to get in touch with the community. We’ve had beta testers and people in the community downloading the app, receiving very positive feedback. We’ve gotten requests to develop the MVP further in terms of functionality because its performance is good.
How did Jelvix perform from a project management standpoint?
They used Jira for project management. We had someone in charge of supervising everything and reporting when each task would be accomplished, as well as who would do it and how.
The technical documentation was excellent: it described everything in detail, which helped me a lot. I’m quite controlling in this sense, so the project coordinator probably suffered from my numerous suggestions. I wrote to him constantly, and he handled it with confidence. We had frequent calls and I also received activity reports, so everything was really transparent.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I really valued the fact that they met all the deadlines as that was really important for me and my activities. I also think their attitude was impressive, particularly their approach to solving problems. Their team was on the same page as me: they were thinking about the market and functionality, as well as the expectations of the users. They focused on the business problem, rather than just the tech problem.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything negative.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Go to them and explain what you’re trying to achieve in terms of business goals, growth, and customer experience. Jelvix is able to dive into a problem and understand it, and then find the right solution.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the founder and CEO of a research group. I started my company to respond to the pressing need for research in the addiction treatment field.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Jelvix?
Three years ago, I came up with the idea for two products that would be useful for addiction treatment facilities. I've been working on this patient monitoring software with Jelvix for the last two and a half years. The program has ended up being very complicated.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Our first product line monitors patients while they're in treatment. It screens for mental health conditions and assesses their satisfaction with treatment, then reports results to their clinicians in real time. Color-coded graphs make it easy to track patients’ progress and modify their care plans.
The platform is built on a MySQL database. It allows us to email or text patients when their next survey is due. We can also send alerts to the clinicians when a patient reports dangerous thoughts or behaviors. It exports a colorful PDF with all the data so we can do the aggregate analysis.
After starting with the initial product, we've developed three new versions for different aspects of mental health treatment and recovery from addiction. Our clients can log in to a web portal to access information. We follow up with patients at regular intervals after they leave treatment to hear about their quality of care and recovery success.
We're currently in the process of integrating with different electronic health records and creating a data analytics backend. The lead developer organizes everything. He oversees the work of integration engineers and data analytics experts around the world, as well as the team that works underneath him.
What is the team composition?
We've worked with one lead developer from the beginning who has been just tremendous. In the early days of our project, he worked by himself. At different points, up to two additional developers joined him. We've also had a couple of part-time project managers. The current one has been with us for close to two years now.
How did you come to work with Jelvix?
Jelvix responded to a request for a quote for the very first phase of the project I posted on Upwork.
What is the status of this engagement?
We've been working together since April 16 and are still adding more features.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Jelvix has been instrumental in building our company. I consider them partners, and couldn't have created this product without their help. We've accomplished our success on a minimal budget. They've given us a cost-effective way to develop a stable, reliable, and functional product, and have done an outstanding job.
We're growing rapidly and currently have a presence in 20 US states. As our client base increases, we've continued to expand the software. More extensive programs with more programs have started using our product.
How did Jelvix perform from a project management standpoint?
Jelvix manages our very complex project effectively. They help us figure out issues with time constraints, like when our data analytics team needs more time. We use Slack to communicate, have weekly Skype calls, and organize tasks with Trello.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We've built an incredibly complex software together. Jelvix helped us create beautiful, simple graphs that work in real time. The lead developer finds creative ways to solve the many challenging issues that come up along the way. On occasion, things have broken in the middle of the night in Ukraine. We were able to reach our development team quickly, and they fixed problems that were preventing our clients from using the software. Jelvix has been tremendously responsive and innovative. They helped us build our software company from scratch.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I'm very satisfied.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I can't think of anything.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
Before partnering with Jelvix, we faced significant challenges in managing and scaling our chronic care data ecosystem. Patient data was fragmented across medical devices, wearables, and multiple EHR systems, making it difficult to gain a unified clinical view or generate reliable insights. Limited interoperability, inconsistent data standards, and growing regulatory requirements further complicated our ability to innovate. As we expanded our chronic care programs, we needed a secure, compliant, and cloud-native platform that could seamlessly integrate diverse data sources, enable FHIR-based EHR connectivity, power AI-driven blood pressure risk and adherence analytics, and deliver real-time clinical dashboards without disrupting existing clinical workflows. We hired Jelvix to design and deliver a cloud-native data and analytics platform for chronic care management. Their scope included unifying data from medical devices, wearables, and EHR systems into a single compliant architecture, enabling FHIR-based EHR connectivity, integrating AI driven blood pressure risk and adherence analytics, and deploying real-time clinical dashboards. They also implemented full audit logging and compliance controls to meet healthcare regulatory requirements without disrupting existing clinical workflows.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Jelvix delivered clear, measurable results that directly improved both operational efficiency and clinical impact. Device onboarding time decreased by approximately 70%, significantly accelerating the rollout of new monitoring programs and reducing implementation bottlenecks. AI-driven risk prediction models improved in accuracy by around 30%, enabling care teams to identify high-risk patients earlier and intervene more proactively. Insights that previously required days of manual data consolidation and analysis are now available in near real time, empowering clinicians to make faster, data-informed decisions.
The platform is fully audit ready, with comprehensive logging, traceability, and embedded compliance controls. This not only strengthens regulatory confidence but also reduces administrative burden on internal teams. As a result, Push Doctor is now positioned to scale its chronic care programs efficiently across new clinical partners while maintaining high standards of security, interoperability, and care quality.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Over the course of our 11 month partnership, Jelvix showed a strong sense of ownership and accountability. This wasn’t a simple build it involved multiple integrations, evolving clinical requirements, and strict compliance considerations yet their team approached it in structured, manageable phases that kept everyone aligned. Communication was consistent and transparent, whether we were speaking with engineers, product leads, or clinical stakeholders. What stood out most was their ability to stay adaptable. As clinical workflows evolved and new integration challenges surfaced, they were proactive in flagging risks early and proposing practical solutions rather than waiting for issues to escalate. Coordinating data flows across multiple sources and sites is never straightforward in healthcare, but they managed the complexity with realism and discipline. Timelines were thoughtfully planned, clearly communicated, and largely met especially impressive given the interoperability and regulatory demands involved.
What was your primary form of communication with Jelvix?
In-Person Meeting
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What truly differentiated Jelvix was their practical understanding of how healthcare data actually works in the real world. They weren’t just familiar with interoperability standards like FHIR they understood how those standards intersect with messy, real life EHR implementations and day to day clinical workflows. Instead of offering purely technical solutions, they consistently framed decisions around what would make sense for clinicians and operations teams on the ground.
They had a strong grasp of both the regulatory landscape and the engineering detail required to navigate it, and they were able to turn complex requirements into solutions that felt intuitive rather than disruptive. Just as importantly, they took ownership. Challenges weren’t treated as “client problems” they approached them as shared responsibilities. That combination of technical depth, strategic perspective, and accountability made them feel less like an external vendor and more like a committed extension of our own team.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Jelvix could have done differently?
From our perspective we didn't identify any area needing improvement in fact the project was exceptionally well run from day one. The discovery phase was thoughtful and thorough, giving everyone technical teams, leadership, and clinicians a shared understanding of the goals and constraints. As the project evolved, Jelvix continuously strengthened documentation, communication rhythms, and delivery processes to make collaboration even smoother.

Quantitatively, we have achieved a ~37% improvement in data processing efficiency and a ~32% increase in reporting accuracy. These advances directly reduce compliance risks, strengthen data-driven decision-making, and improve scalability when onboarding new oncology networks and research centers.
Beyond the numbers, Jelvix’s solution has enhanced customer satisfaction, supported retention, and positioned us for new growth opportunities through advanced analytics and AI readiness.

Jelvix is developing an AI-powered reporting platform for a financial data management firm. The platform aggregates data, generates regulatory documents, detects anomalies, and performs compliance checks.
Jelvix's work has led to a 45% reduction in manual reporting time, a 60% improvement in reporting accuracy, and a 30% decrease in audit preparation time. The disciplined team adapts quickly to changes, communicates effectively, and delivers powerful solutions that align with the industry's needs.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the CEO of GoldenSource. We provide enterprise data management (EDM) software and SaaS solutions that help financial institutions manage, integrate, and analyze critical reference, market, risk, and ESG data for compliance, reporting, and operational efficiency.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Jelvix?
We hired Jelvix to build a secure, AI-powered reporting platform capable of handling complex financial data at scale.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Jelvix came in as a development partner with a clear mandate: to build a secure, AI-powered reporting platform capable of handling complex financial data at scale. They delivered a system that automates the aggregation of structured and unstructured data across ERP and Cloud systems, generates regulatory documents like MD&A narratives and board summaries, detects anomalies through AI, and performs real-time compliance checks aligned with SOX, ESG, and SEC requirements. Key features included NLP models for drafting disclosures, auto-flagging of inconsistencies, and a scalable architecture built to integrate with external data pipelines — all designed to streamline reporting, reduce risk, and future-proof our operations.
What is the team composition?
About 2–5 experts were assigned to us.
How did you come to work with Jelvix?
An associate of ours referred them to us. Their cost aligned with our budget, and our values aligned.
How much have you invested with them?
We've spent about $1.5 million–$3 million.
What is the status of this engagement?
Jelvix joined us in January 2024, and the project is still ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The impact of Jelvix's work became evident within the first quarter of deployment. First, we saw a 45% reduction in manual reporting time, which freed up our finance and compliance teams to focus on analysis rather than routine data handling. This shift alone had a significant effect on productivity across departments. Second, the platform brought a 60% improvement in reporting accuracy. By eliminating manual entry and introducing AI-driven validation checks, we dramatically reduced inconsistencies and errors — a critical improvement for audit readiness and board-level confidence. Lastly, we were able to cut audit preparation time by 30%, thanks to the platform's built-in compliance alignment with SEC, SOX, and ESG frameworks. The automation of version control, documentation, and disclosure generation meant that what used to take weeks of coordination now takes days — sometimes hours.
How did Jelvix perform from a project management standpoint?
To be honest, I must say Jelvix didn't over-promise or under-communicate. Their process was disciplined. They adapted quickly when regulatory priorities shifted, built with long-term maintainability in mind, and most importantly, they delivered on time. We communicate mostly via online meetings.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We found a lot of things impressive, one of which was they challenged assumptions, brought creative thinking to regulatory automation, and delivered a platform that's not only powerful but deeply aligned with how global finance works.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The only hiccup we noticed in the project was the training. The platform has depth, and our teams needed time to adjust. But Jelvix stepped up with onboarding materials and hands-on sessions. I'd recommend scoping change management into timelines if you're doing something similarly ambitious.
