Originally, we hired Jason Shaffer Group to optimize our web, and SEO performance. When the 2020 global pandemic began in March, the fitness industry took a massive hit, which ultimately affected our Power Train facilities and overall business model.
In August 2020, we began developing an online video platform to adapt to the workout from home trend. Jason Shaffer Group took on the development of this entire project which included transitioning Power Train's Wordpress site to an e-commerce membership platform.

Jason Shaffer Group was referred to us by another client. After meeting with the founder, Jason, discussed our goals, his process and he prepared improvements that would assist in our business goals. Jason Shaeffer Group completely revitalized and reorganized our very out of date Wordpress website, then developed and transitioned powertrainsports.com to a membership based, e-commerce platform with the integration of PayPal.
In doing so, Jason Shaffer group also advised in the transition of our domain registrar to improve service, speed and quality. Additionally, JSG designed and developed a new lead popup form on our website which collects over 60% of our web leads among many other things.

And, we also wanted to go with someone local. Our other SEO company was located in a different state. We liked the personal one-on-one service a local business would provide.

Jason did a review of current SEO, our website, and our Google Analytics. He put together a package that he thought would best improve our rankings for our desired budget.

While the Jason Shaffer group does have other employees, we always deal with Jason directly usually be email or either in person (at LeTip) or by phone.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our previous SEO company said we were ranking number one for our keywords, but they were using words/phrases that our customers were not searching for. Jason put together a much better list of keywords that pertained directly to our business and more importantly, our local area. We work directly in customer's homes, so our keywords need to be focused on the surrounding area near our showroom.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Communicating with Jason is incredibly easy. Most of our communications are via email, which is what we prefer. Jason is right on top of thing. Our Google listing got spammed with false reviews once and Jason called us within MINUTES of those reviews going live.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Most SEO takes at least a few months to see results. Jason started us with a six month contract so his company would have the appropriate amount of time to work on our site and build our rankings. He said we would probably start to see minor results within three months. We signed our contract with Jason in November 2017. Right after the start of the year in 2018, our business leads increased dramatically! We did not change anything else with our business except switching SEO companies. Our industry normally has a slower season in January and February. We started 2018 off by being very busy and the leads continue to roll in!
Are there any areas for improvement?
I can't think of any area of improvement. We've loved working with Jason. I've even referred his company to two family members with small businesses.
