Inkster is a social marketplace for creators. A network of professional multimedia portfolios that are brought together to create the world’s first online platform solely for creativity. Through the use of AI technologies, Inkster connects creators with collectors and empowers artists with free access to all of the tools they need to showcase, promote and sell their work.

ITM helped us design the UX/UI of our platform.

To get a better understanding of user needs and experience. And walk away with a solid design that we can build upon.

How did you select this vendor?

ITM House is an active leader in the ever-growing landscape of technology companies in Toronto and across the globe. They have been on our radar for some time and many of our colleagues have worked with them in the past. Their expertise is above industry standards yet they continue to offer much better pricing than the competition.

Describe the project in detail.

The goal was to give us a better understanding of the UX/UI involved in our project and establish a design that is not only up to current trends but also able to adapt o major changes in the industry.

What was the team composition?

We met with a project manager regularly who communicated with a team overseas and locally. The CEO was always readily available as well and would normally join us for the meetings.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We now have a solid design for the marketplace and are looking to take the next step in development.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We were very happy with the workflow and impressed with how well they managed their teams locally and overseas. Everything was always completed on time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their ability to manage teams both locally and overseas all while offering such incredible pricing.

Our company’s product is called Beam Messenger, real-time messaging software for mobile and web platforms.

ITM House was hired to work on our web client software and the back-end server.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed a functioning web application that mirrored our mobile app.

ITM House came highly recommended in the tech community from previous clients.

ITM House was involved in all aspects of development. Their team created a roadmap, built port functionality for the mobile app, and developed the front- and backend to meet our demands.

What was the team composition?

We had a three-person development team with a project lead and two senior engineers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Over six months, the solution was developed and delivered. Due to increased functionality that we requested halfway through, the project went slightly over budget but was finished on time.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We communicated using Google Hangouts and Slack. The code management happened in Bitbucket.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

ITM House has talented engineers that are well-versed in a variety of technical specialties and languages.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Due to time differences, there were some delays in communication. It would’ve been nice to have a project lead based locally to manage the developers.
