Iterando designed and developed our informational website. It’s a simple platform that showcases the products we offer. We had an idea of what we wanted, and made a whiteboard of all the sites we liked to help them through the design process. The team created the architecture and design.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They delivered a well-designed website that shows what our company does. It’s too early to tell the effects it has had, but my team and I like what we see.

How did Iterando perform from a project management standpoint?

We had 2-3 in-person meetings, as well as a large number of web conferences. Most of our communication took place via email. Iterando was timely — any delays were on our side because we took a long time to take good pictures to put on the website.

Normally, we are in touch with a senior developer, a junior developer, and a project manager. It has changed over time.

A contact in Mexico who knew them personally put me in touch with Iterando. Initially, I only intended to do a small part of the platform with them, but then, the relationship and project extended. At first, I chose them because I didn’t have many options, and local developers can be extremely expensive and complicated, but looking back, it was an excellent choice.

We’ve spent around $10,000.

I started working with them about a year ago, and the project continues.

The results they have provided are great, especially considering our investment.

How did Iterando perform from a project management standpoint?

As always, this kind of project deadlines tend to be unpredictable, but they have been flexible. Whenever we’ve encountered any issues, they always find a solution. That is extremely important for us; I can trust they are committed to the project.

They normally use Trello, but we were using Jira, so they adapted to our needs. Later, we all changed to Trello, which shows how flexible they are.

What did you find most impressive about them?

As a startup, they are a great option, considering the costs, which are considerably lower than in the US and Australia. They are a company that can be relied on and trusted. Plus, they are committed and flexible to adapt to the needs of companies with our size and level of investment.

 We found them through references. Also, our offices are very close to each other. We ended up choosing them above other companies primarily because of their transparency regarding their costs. They have no hidden fees.

We measure the success of our projects by their ability to make our business grow. The platforms that Iterando developed have been solid enough to support our continued growth. We’re happy with their results and have even recommended them to some of our clients. Our clients have been happy with them as well, which is something we appreciate.

We use Jira to track the progress of the project. In terms of their communication skills, they’re always available and provide great customer service.

They’re very punctual. They regularly deliver their work before deadlines.

This is outside of the scope of their work, but we would like to have translations of technical terms and corporate language.

I'm the director of strategic projects for ShipBob, a company that provides fulfillment services for e-commerce businesses. Our clients hook their online stores to ShipBob and we import, pick, pack, and ship their orders.

We hired them to build the frontend of a new analytics dashboard for our company.

What were your goals for this project?

Our aim was to provide fast and actionable insights to our customers so that they can better plan their businesses. Through the dashboard, we provide data to our clients so that they can evaluate the performance of their store as well as plan and manage their inventory.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We had four possible vendors for the project but some of them were disqualified due to their price estimates. Since we were hiring an agency for frontend development only, design and usability were some of our top priorities. We looked at Iterando's previous work and we really liked what they presented.

They developed the frontend of our dashboard and connected all the endpoints that power the visualizations. We provided the wireframes/mockups and API documentation.

We had an internal team working on backend development while Iterando assigned a few developers and a project manager, who was our main point of contact.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This project is the first step we take into providing this type of data to our customers. While this is only the first iteration, it has allowed us to get customer feedback for future improvements. Some clients are really looking forward to having access to the new dashboard and leveraging its content to make better decisions about their businesses.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The backend and frontend of this project were being developed at the same time by different teams. This made project management more challenging, but both teams managed to work together efficiently. We communicated with Iterando frequently and used Trello to track progress.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Iterando was flexible and adaptable and always worked hard to make sure that we were pleased with the results. They also adapted to our feedback and the changes requested by our internal team, which was critical for us. We also had a direct line of communication with the project manager and lead developer, which made things run smoothly.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I can't think of a lot. They could work on validating project requirements before getting started to make sure that both parties have the same expectations on how the work should be done.

I'm the head of creative direction for a clothing company called Mussi Corporation. I lead our design and marketing creative team.

What challenge were you trying to address with Iterando?

After 28 years in the market, we just recently started launching online sales. We needed a vendor's support with the layout, build, and implementation of both a basic website and an online e-commerce shop.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Iterando started off our collaboration with by designing and developing a revamped basic website. It includes images of all the clothing pieces along with a database of customer information. After that project was complete, they began the end-to-end implementation of our e-commerce platform.

The online retail shop's long and detailed development process required us to check for payment platforms and credit card issues. Since we sell both current clothing and collections from past seasons, our sites are very heavy. Developing a platform that can accommodate 180 items per collection with different size and colors was a challenging requirement.

I communicated directly with Iterando's general manager. Their team includes about 12 resources. They assigned us a dedicated project lead. We interface with the head designer and the inventory manager, as well.

How did you come to work with Iterando?

We needed a vendor to develop a website the way we wanted, after disappointing partnerships in the past hadn't panned out. After finding Iterando during our search, we reached out to discuss our project and request a quote. They seemed like a great match based on their availability, budget and attention to detail.

We started working together about a year and a half ago.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We got excellent results from this partnership that sparked great progress for our company. Iterando delivered a beautiful, interactive site that improved our social media positioning and boosted sales nationally.

Our consumers indicate the site is excellent from a UX/UI perspective. Iterando's e-commerce shop deliverable was so good that it ousted our physical catalog. Now that our clients prefer to buy our clothes online, the print sales catalog we'd used for 15 years become obsolete.

How did Iterando perform from a project management standpoint?

When Iterando quoted us a price, they included a calendar and work plan. Delays from our side caused some struggles with meeting the deadlines we set at the beginning. Our collections aren't always on time, but Iterando still excelled at respecting the timeline. They adapted to our timing and always meet the new milestones we tasked them with.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Iterando's idea of including the physical inventories on the site was remarkable. Since we have 30 store locations, this was a time-consuming and challenging challenge that they did a fantastic job executing. The images they included on our site are notably high, as well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

So far, Iterando has met all our expectations.

I’m the CEO and founder of BrandMe. Our platform, Brandme.la, connect brands with content creators and influencers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Iterando?

The platform we had before was very inefficient. It was slow and a lot of clients complained about it. We have an in-house development team but we didn’t have expertise on backend or UX to rebuild it ourselves.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They redeveloped our platform. We’ve had two projects with them. The first was to develop the web version of the platform, for which they created the UX design and the backend. They used PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, Majestic, and npm.

That was two years ago. Now we’re working on the native mobile versions for Android and iOS.

We had a team of eight including two project managers, five programmers, and a web designer.

I participated in a business accelerator hosted by Telefonica called Wayra. I got to know Iterando’s founders, who also participated, at those events. I knew their first projects, their platforms, and their technology and thought they were a great option for what I needed.

I had previously tried to work with another company but didn’t feel the communication was good. I couldn’t tell if they understood the project. With Iterando, I felt from our first meeting that they understood our business model clearly. It was the main reason why I decided to work with them.

We had constant meetings. They also used Sandbox which helped us track the project. We could see and test elements in real-time as the project advanced. There were a few delays but nothing important. Their communication and project management were great. I liked the way they worked.

With their expertise, they were able to suggest components that would best add value. For example, we previously had problems with customer service and they suggested a solution that has worked great. They didn’t just work on the project. They took the time to give us suggestions to help us improve as a company.
