I'm the owner of Oskar Ex inc. The transportation company based in Algonquin, IL USA. We are an expedited carrier, who delivers general freight all around United States.

The main problem for us was that our document managing system and interaction between different departments was outdated. We used many different tools, from Excel to third-party SAAS solutions, which made our work complicated and causing frequent errors. We had the same problems with the manual input of big amount of information, which required many human resources and additional expenses.

We began seeking for a vendor who could assist us with putting our objectives and ideas in life after realizing that we needed to change the system and approach to work organization. We learned about the ISITLab company from colleagues who had nothing but good things to say about them.

Despite considering and corresponding with various vendors, we ultimately settled on ISITLab. We were able to start effective contact right away after our initial call since we were able to find common ground.

The research phase, in which we discussed potential solutions and further detailed our issues, was the first stage of our collaboration. The solution design phase came next, during which the system architecture—including design, process flows, and data integration—were defined. Directly following came to the development phase.

The work involved the usage of the following technologies: VueJS, Laravel, PHP, jQuery, AWS, and Docker. Then came the testing and rollout phases. To validate the system, identify any problems, and prepare for actual integration into the production environment, functional, integration, and performance testing was made. We are now in the support and maintenance phase.

The team which was working on our project included one project manager, one front-end developer, three back-end developers, one devops and a designer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was launched on time and ISITLab adhered to the deadlines. The reduction of operational costs and the optimization of employee labor were the project's most significant results for us. Processing 100 invoices used to take many hours, but now it only takes three minutes, considerably reducing the amount of time required.

The visibility of transport operations has increased, making it possible to track shipments in real time and make better decisions. The frequency of errors has also decreased, which has significantly improved job outcomes.

We have developed an excellent connection with ISITLab from the beginning. They were committed to deadlines and always provided us with clear answers to our questions while working on the project. They were continuously in contact with us, paid close attention to work, and we had regular online calls in addition to that.

The best aspect of working with ISITLab is that they were able to develop a solution that perfectly suited our goals and problem points. Additionally, they made the move to the new system painless and assisted us in smoothly integrating the technology into our work. Communication with the team was made simple, and decision making quickly, which is crucial to us.

We are very satisfied with an end product. At the moment we don't see any areas of improvement.
