Shikma knowledge & Technology is a planning, engineering, constructing and maintenance provider of custom made autonomous parking lots, I'm the VP R&D and product of SW the department

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Intelini, and what were your goals?

We had hired Intelini to develop generic parking manager product with integrated AI algorithm to calculate all required sequences in shortest routs for all possible\different parking configurations. The possible valid layouts is enormous and Intelini managed to develop AI algorithm to make it happen and save months of manual work of few engineers with much better performances to the end clients.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I've found Intelini through another web platform. The decision to work with Intelini was based on their expertise (.net, C# etc..) as the great personal communication with the CEO (Oleg), which is a great person to work with.

The SOW was in 2 parts:

1. Generic product using 3D visualization
2. AI algorithm to enhance performance and reduce future costs

Generic Product - it took us about 3 months to develop the first part, we had include unity 3D UI with many other amazing features including support of different user controls such as NFC and RF Id (433Khz) devices, lots of API end points etc..

AI algorithm - took us about 4 months to accomplish V1, amazing outcome, it calculates all required sequences for any provided layout in seconds. This is really a unique and revolutionary product.

We had 2 full time developers and project manager.

1. Full stack developer - C#, unity3D, API
2. Mobile\WEB - Angular, React native

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

By implementing AI algorithm in our parking managing system, go to market duration reduced by average of 70 MWD, any POC\marketing project immediately delivered - capability which we didn't have before and also maintenance\fault correction dramatically improved by the enormous flexibility of the new system.

We are using Agile scrum with kanban method (GitHub) of weekly sprints, having daily scrum meetings each morning\evening using Skype\Zoom, in more congested periods we have also during the day meetings to evaluate progress in more detailed manner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive thing about this company is their empathy and care for the project outcome, if need to work extra during weekends or late into the night in order to meet schedules they will do it. The every day atmosphere at work is great, every one on board doing their best effort to the success of the company and its goals.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I'm very happy with Intelini, they are very flexible and supportive, if need to change something they are doing it without any question asked.
