I’m the Secretary General of the 52nd International Eucharistic Congress. It’s a one-week event held every four years with tens of thousands of participants from all over the world.

We needed to design and develop an international website for the Congress.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted the site to display everything about the event, including registration information and programs for both the preparatory session and actual event.

Another company we work with had a very good experience with Integral Vision. After we reviewed their proposal, we met and made an instant connection. They had great Drupal references and reviews from other companies.

Describe the project in detail.

They modified our old webpage and developed it again in the new Drupal system. Every two weeks, they demonstrated their design plans and the functions they’d developed, and we’d discuss their next steps. Their cooperation was really enthusiastic.

The new website is good and can grow to accommodate more and more features. A lot of people visit the site every day.

Our team communicated smoothly with their developers. Our product owner at Integral Vision built trust well. They were always in a good mood.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Our two-week rhythm helps with transparency. Integral Vision is flexible and professional and takes their clients ideas into consideration.

I am a business consultant for Tetocentrum Magyaroszag Kft., a roofing material distributor.

What challenge were you trying to address with Integral Vision?

Our website was out of date, even for an old-fashioned market; we couldn’t sell our products online. We hired Integral Vision to develop an e-commerce site that would connect our enterprise resource planning system and have a navigable UI for customers.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Integral Vision built an e-commerce site based on our requirements around the user experience. First, they created wireframes and the design templates. They built prototypes and revised those in an iterative feedback process. Post-launch, the team did SEO, Google Ads, and on-page optimizations. They also created content pages to drive organic search results.

What is the team composition?

We worked with up to three people at a time. The entire team included an account manager, a main developer, designers, SEO specialists, and advertising resources. The CEO participated in high-level strategy discussions.

How did you come to work with Integral Vision?

We created a brief and interviewed local companies. We wanted a vendor that would fit our company culture and could deliver within our budget. Integral Vision then submitted a proposal that fit our budget. We hired them based on that documentation, as well as the good rapport between teams.

How much have you invested in them?

We spent around $50,000 with payments corresponding to each sprint in the development cycle. Currently, we have a support contract.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them from May–November 2017.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The site enabled us to reach the older demographic in our market. As a result, we’ve slowly increased sales. From a functionality perspective, the new site has improved cost and material estimations. The upgraded features led to a twofold increase in the number of price quotes.

How did Integral Vision perform from a project management standpoint?

Integral Vision was cooperative, honest, and transparent. Those qualities made the partnership successful. The team was available on weekends and successfully collaborated with the third party that built the enterprise resource planning system. Ultimately, their flexible and accommodating approach stood out.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team presented a compelling vision for our company. Both our website and brand have received positive feedback from users and colleagues.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Everything was fine, but they could onboard more specialists internally. I prefer one company to handle everything. Integral Vision does need to grow for the long-term.

Be communicative because they are eager to respond to feedback.

I’m a lead archeologist for the Hungarian National Museum. My department oversees the Hungarian Archeology Database.

What challenge were you trying to address with Integral Vision?

This project was part of a larger initiative called ARIADNE and was funded by the European Commission under the Community's Seventh Framework Programme. We needed an experienced development firm to help us create and maintain the Hungarian Archeology Database.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Integral Vision worked with us to build the database and led the process step-by-step. They first asked me what kind of data I wanted to organize and how I wanted the visuals to look. It took weeks to plan out the database’s infrastructure properly. After providing several alternative ways to accomplish the project’s goals, we decided on a proper build.

Then, their team started coding the database. It features detailed visuals, a search function, maps, and intricate documentation processes. The finished product funnels information into the ARIADNE database that compiles archeological data from all across Europe.

What is the team composition?

They allocated 3–5 resources to this project.

How did you come to work with Integral Vision?

They operate the Hungarian National Museum website. Considering that the database needed to be integrated into our website’s backend, it was natural for them to lead that effort. I also looked over their portfolio before officially giving them the project. Seeing that they had experience building similar databases cemented my decision to expand our relationship with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent roughly €50,000 (approximately $57,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

This project’s development process took place from October 2015–May 2016.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Integral Vision delivered a successful platform that continues to grow. I’m incredibly proud of the work they’ve done. I’ve gone to many conferences, both in Hungary and abroad, to give presentations regarding the database’s intricacies. We started the project with data from 1,700 archeology sites. With additional support from the archeological community, the database now contains almost 60,000 sites with almost 1.2 million pieces of downloadable content. Containing almost 6 million search words, it’s the largest and most comprehensive archology database in Hungary.

How did Integral Vision perform from a project management standpoint?

We spoke on a daily basis during the planning and design phases. They were always helpful when answering questions. We also held large face-to-face meetings with them every two weeks. They work quickly and efficiently.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re proactive and able to provide multiple solutions to new challenges. Additionally, they do a sufficient job of highlighting the complexities of each option. Considering my lack of technological expertise, I appreciated their transparency.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. We’ve been working together long enough to address concerns with each other openly.

Hire them. They’ll do excellent work.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Apart from UX and UI optimization, accessibility was an important aspect. The local government is obliged to provide data of public interest, which had to be presented in a neat and clear way. We also wanted to improve the site in terms of responsiveness. Electronic administration is carried out on an external platform. In order to reach that site, it was necessary to provide a transparent interface on our side that helps citizens manage their affairs.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• The new website cannot be compared to the previous one. It has been expanded with new functions (eg. a document library). In addition, users apparently reach their goals with fewer clicks. The new site is nicely structured and clear. The editing interface is more flexible.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The agile methodology, including the concept of SP, was new to us. The tasks were broken down into short periods which helped the process in terms of transparency. The deadlines were met, the pace of the biweekly demos was also appropriate and if we had questions, we received quick answers.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

"Their organizational culture. It was an environment where a person was not just a droid, but could express their thoughts and this eventually resulted in the outcome as well. We enjoyed the whole process. Everyone in the team knew what their job was, including the PM, the designer and developers. The feedback management (JIRA) was also something new to us, it also helped the processes to run in an organized manner."

Are there any areas for improvement or something Integral Vision could have done differently?

We learned a lot from our cooperation with IV. Next time we would start the preparations more consciously on our side. Nothing comes to our mind IV could have done differently. We would choose them again.

I was the project manager of an international effort that aimed to raise awareness of entrepreneurship. We also wanted to improve related competencies and develop a thorough and effective entrepreneurial curriculum for non-business students.

The platform encouraged students to collect their own ideas, evaluate others’, and develop business concepts with gamification elements. We used it to facilitate a business proposal competition.

Integral Vision delivered the platform in a short time frame.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their agile development framework worked well and allowed for strong collaboration. We met bi-weekly over Skype.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their biggest strength is their customer-oriented approach. They were always available to assist us and were patient when explaining technical concepts. Young, creative, and dynamic, their team is highly proactive.

Their testing method could have been more sophisticated.
