What challenge were you trying to address with Insightful Networks?

We ran into a situation where our phone system was down, our internet was terrible, and we paid a lot to our existing IT company to manage our systems.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Insightful Networks has implemented our voiceover IP phone system. They’ve also housed our backups, migrated us to the cloud, and developed software for us.

They started with the voiceover IP system and then took on all our IT services and management. After a few months into it, we had a process with Excel that we thought we could turn into software. We reached out to Insightful Networks, and they produced the code in less than six weeks.

For the solution, Insightful Networks took an API software we were using through Google and used it to track the distances from all our plants to the site locations to maximize mileage. They took all of the plants we bought materials from and input the pricing and materials they carried to figure out the best haul rate versus material costs for each site to give us profit, save costs for our clients, and make it more efficient for us.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Insightful Networks’ efforts have probably sped up the processes by 75%; we’re way more efficient. Before, we were pulling information out of a catalog, writing it in, and doing the mileage calculations ourselves, so they’ve been instrumental in our efficiency and productivity.

How did Insightful Networks perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been under budget and ahead of schedule. They communicate around 2–3 times a week through phone calls. They also log in and demonstrate the software live, running it for us so we know what we’re getting. Additionally, we can make alterations along the way.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Jeff keeps us informed and walks us through everything. He’s done most of the training and is the key to making our vision come true.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They communicate very well and are highly detail-oriented.

We're very pleased with Insightful Networks' services. They always come up with new opportunities and keep us on top of things.

Insightful Networks always delivers work on time and communicates well with us. We use a ticket management tool to collaborate and usually communicate via email and, sometimes, phone calls.

Although the whole Insightful Networks team has been great, Ryan has helped us quite a lot. He's always very helpful and quick to get things resolved.
