What challenges were you trying to address with Innovative Iteration Software Solutions?

We wanted to renew the look of our website and modernize it by adding payment gateways.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Innovative Iteration Software Solutions provided web design and development services from scratch. Their services included hosting and maintenance of the site.

Regarding the process, they started by having initial meetings with us to understand what we were looking for and to develop ideas based on those conversations. Consequently, they suggested 3–4 options for the type of website we should consider, and after reviewing the pros and cons of each one, we selected one to start building the platform. In terms of functionalities, the site has 6–7 different pages. We asked them for a user-friendly, smooth, simple platform with payment gateways.

What was the team composition? 

We worked with two Innovative Iteration Software Solutions team members, including their owner, who was our main point of contact, and a developer.

For this project, we worked together from September–October 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our members gave a lot of positive feedback about the ease of navigation and the clarity of the content — that was the most important metric for us.

How did Innovative Iteration Software Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Innovative Iteration Software Solutions met our deadlines and stayed within budget. Regarding tools and communication, we used Google Meet, email, and phone calls. In addition, they were flexible enough to make changes according to our requests.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Innovative Iteration Software Solutions’ customer service was their biggest strength. They were very receptive to my requirements and delivered according to them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I didn’t think there was anything they could improve on.

Be clear with your requirements, and don’t hesitate to ask them for changes because they can make it happen.

I’m the founder of a media and tech-based company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Innovative Iteration Software Solutions?

We needed someone to build out a robust online tech-based platform.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The first thing we did was a beta version of the platform with custom widgets and plugins using WordPress. They then had to build in new modules, source plugins, and modify those various plugins or create new ones from scratch. This is so certain functionalities of our rollout would be present in our beta module. The beta version also allows us to test the waters and the full scope of my idea, prior to undergoing the new expense of building it out, and custom coding it.

Additionally, they provide us with frontend design, as they’re a full-service team that is truly capable in online app development and web design.

What is the team composition?

Our main points of contact are with two people from their team, but I know there have been quite a few others who work with them.

How did you come to work with Innovative Iteration Software Solutions?

 A friend of mine who I’m very close with had a great working experience with Innovative Iteration. They were able to pull off what they were trying to get done much more affordably than what it would’ve cost. Through my friend, my partner and I were able to reach out to them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent probably around $10,000–$15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The groundbreaking for the project started in January 2020, and we’re still working together.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

From the concept to our launch date, which was roughly 60 days ago, we were able to add 200 subscribers who’ve all had great experiences using our platform. They gave us good feedback and the go-ahead to build the full version of the app with a custom coding scenario — which is about 70% done this week.

We should be launch-ready soon, and it would only take them about 45 days to complete the project — take note that this was something that took us a year and a half to develop.

How did Innovative Iteration Software Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

From a standard standpoint, they were able to bring on additional competent resources, when the demands and deadlines of the project started becoming more strict. They’ve been trustworthy in completing their tasks, even when they're implementing something that’s not part of the original scope.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What sets their work apart from other developers is that their process works.

Are there any areas they could improve?

As of right now, I can say that I don’t have any negative issues with their work. They’ve been very respectful of my need for confidentiality, and desire to meet certain times and dates as far as the deliverables are concerned.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to have a real understanding of exactly what your project entails. The easiest way to achieve that is to have as many drafted templates and wireframes, because that’ll expedite the process quicker. If they can visualize and see what you want, they can make it happen.

Innovative Iteration developed our mobile application and integrated our PHP-based loyalty platform into its server.

The number of people we worked with differed from time to time, but we interacted with around 5–6 people on the development side and a couple more from the support side.

 I came to know about them through common friends.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around £180,000 (approximately $248,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the engagement around October–November 2017, and the partnership is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The project is our bread and butter so, of course, it has made a huge impact on our business. The app has become the core of our business, directly affecting our bottom line. 

How did Innovative Iteration Software Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They've done excellent so far, which is why we are still with them three years down the line.

We’ve got a direct line of communication set up between us and their team. Their project manager and team lead is in direct contact with ours here in the UK.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their abilities go beyond our expectations. They’re prompt and responsive; whenever we need them, they're there. Those are the positive things I like about them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of any specific point at the moment.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would definitely recommend them, and advise them to anyone who needs to have a mobile app developed. You could try their services for 2–3 months to see how they perform, but I'm sure anybody who works with them will like them.
