We decided to work with them because they were very known in developing online projects in Romania.

We had a first meeting and discussed which are the best solutions for our needs. We chose to develop our website on a Magento platform, established specifications for everything and we had a very strong and beneficial communication process.

The implementation team included 3 people, but a project manager was our main point of contact.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching our site, we saw a 50% increase in sales. Customers appreciated a lot our new design and functionalities and how easy they get informations about products or the possibilies to pay by credit card.

We had a permanent and efficient dialog with their project manager, and we found all the support and solutions for our expectations. We used Trello to coordinate.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Innobyte gave us trust. The project was implemented as promised, and the e-commerce site was stable and produced very good results. We still have a very good partnership with Innobyte for mentenance and developing our website.

I'm the Head of E-Commerce of the swiss startup namuk. We design and develop sustainable, high-quality outdoor clothing for kids.

Our website was created 2 years before Innobyte joined the project, was poorly maintained and running on a very unstable Backend. Innobyte first helped us to migrate the Website to AWS, taking care of Security as well as increasing stability. After the migration, they supported us in maintaining the site, implement new features and update it to Magento 2.4.

Innobyte was a personal recommendation from a trusted Web Development Expert. Deciding factor was their knowledge in AWS & Magento, their flexibility as well as the reasonable pricing for a dedicated, full-time Developer.

Very hard to answer, as they basically managed every aspect of our E-Commerce Website, from integrating payment services to front-end design as well as all kinds of projects to improve sitespeed, navigation, warehouse outsourcing and connection to a 3PL and more.

A Web Developer was our main point of contact during the two years, as well as the CTO in the migration phase to AWS. There were multiple other people involved (Front-End Developers, Back-End Developers, Project Manager), but the main contact stayed the same since the onboarding, which we much appreciated!

We had weekly 30min meetings with the main developer who communicated internally with the rest of the team. For communication we used Discord as a Chat for urgent issues as well as our project management tool Asana to coordinate the tickets they worked on.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

As a marketeer with little to no technical background, they always managed to explain things in a way I could understand. They were very flexible with our requests, always found a way to fix issues, and were very reliable.

not really, we always felt in very good hands

What challenge were you trying to address with Innobyte?

We needed help to develop a new online platform to sell wine.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Innobyte developed our e-commerce platform from scratch using Magento. Some of our requirements included for the site to be customized for more than 7,000 products and for it to be user-friendly and aimed at specific types of customers for specific products. 

We developed specifications, and Innobyte worked on our specifications. The team also customized some Magento extensions for sales and marketing.

What is the team composition?

We had a project manager and a team of developers, though I’m unsure how many.

How did you come to work with Innobyte?

We chose them because they were one of the top 10 companies developing online shops in Romania and they’re local to us.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from September 2021–January 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Innobyte’s work was very good. They were great at developing everything we asked for and didn’t come with any input of their own. Since this shop is a new product and we’re still building our marketing strategy, we don’t have any metrics yet.

How did Innobyte perform from a project management standpoint?

They met all their deadlines, though sometimes they had extra work to do because we requested changes. We communicated with them via email, WhatsApp, and phone calls and also had some calls where they taught us how to use Magento’s dashboard.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was most impressed with how quickly they developed the site. Our project manager understood what we needed and wanted.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve their understanding of the project at the beginning stages. This would be helpful for future clients and would make Innobyte’s services even better.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice would be to spend considerable time thinking about the project and describe what they want to obtain from it in detail.

I am the CTO of a startup project - a marketplace for childcare and healthy products

After we've had the business idea, we started to search for an external company to help us with the architecture of the project. We were really impressed by the architecture they created so we decided to do the implementation with them. And after the MVP was launched, we continued to work with them on new features and improvements.

How did you select Innobyte and what were the deciding factors?

We decided internally that we will work on Magento, so we analyzed Magento development companies. We received some recommendations for Innobyte from our partners, so we discussed with them and 2 other companies. We decided to work with them based on their portfolio of clients and successful projects.

Scope of work was pretty clear for us: the delivery of a marketplace ecommerce website, developed on Magento. First step was to create the architecture of the system. During this part we agreed over the functionalities of the project and over the technical specifications. The deliverable for the first part of the project was the architecture document.

Second part of the project was the implementation of the marketplace. We agreed the cost and milestones. During the development we've had calls periodically in order to check the progress. After a big component was ready, we received it to test it. At the end of the project we tested it and launched it in production.

Third part of the project is a continuous part - development of custom made components based on our request.

I worked directly with multiple people from their team. First, with sales people, legal people, etc. After that, we discussed with the designated project managers and devops engineers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We felt like the quality they work was really high. The shared documents and the code itself were written based on the market standards. The implementation itself is running smoothly and this was an important thing for us. Any feedback is implemented asap. Also, any problems that we found during the development process were treated with priority and solved.

For the project we've had a designated project manager. Mostly we worked on email. But from what I was able to see, the time tracking documents were exported from Microsoft Project. Also, I've had access in their Trello account and was able to submit tickets there. We prefered to submit the requirements via email, because it was easier for us to track the progress this way.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their profesionalism. We worked with multiple development companies and they commit to delivering a good quality product on all aspects. So they do not focus only on delivering the needs of the partner, but they invest a lot of time into coding procedures. Their code is clean and done right.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Of course, in any partnership you can improve things. As a CTO, I wanted to get more involved in the architecture side of the project and from time to time I felt that I am not given the details that I wanted. Another thing that I would want them to improve is the know-how in the front end side of the project. For us, this was not a blocker, but we felt that the job could have been dome better.

We needed a development provider to build our Magento-based selling platform for our company's new business venture in the baby clothing industry.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Innobyte initially customized the solutions we needed to run our e-commerce operations before conducting Magento 2 and Microsoft integration for our ERP system, which they incorporated into our cloud-based platform. They also devised features that enabled customers to enter the data of their children, so they could choose from a variety of baby products tailored for their child's gender and age. Apart from building custom features for our content, Innobyte also implemented other core functionalities that authorized product cataloging, filtering, and order tracking.

We worked with a team of 7–8 resources, including their project manager, COO, two developers, and one product tester.

How did you come to work with Innobyte?

I found them online while searching for companies with credible experience in Magento implementation.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent €200,000–€400,000 (approximately $224,000–$449,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

Our project ran from October 2016–August 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We generated more than €1 million (approximately $1.1 million USD) and an NPS score of 92 a year after our product launch, with 89% of our transactions coming from mobile devices. Given our high profit and conversion rates despite presenting our new venture as a startup, it was easy to tell that Innobyte performed an excellent job. They were a professional team that met all our quality and timeline standards from start to finish.

Innobyte was on top of their project management game, and they had a dedicated project manager who organized everything seamlessly and transparently.

They were easy to work with, and they took our goals seriously.

I am a part of marketing team within company which manufactures and sells tobacco and nicotine products.

Our website was outdated and with old infrastructure. We decided to upgrade infrastructure and back end activities as well as content itself. Magento platform is a good tool for us to be used. Time frame of this upgrade was important to us.

Since we are multinational company Innobyte did work on our other end markets. We were happy with work done and colleagues recco was on side of Innobyte.

After decision that work needed will be done by Innobyte we had a general initial communication. After that we had a meetings in which brief was presented to them. Innobyte did create a SoW document. Contract needed to be signed as well. All details i.e. cost, timings, workload was discussed on this calls. Integration with CRM platform and live chat feature were included also.

A project manager was first and main point of contact. Beside this person other 2 Innobyte team members (developers) were included when needed (i.e. covering infrastructural details for integration with CRM)

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

more than met.After modification of our website we have made a huge step forward with the content on the page. We have also noticed a higher traffic but assumption is that this result is in combination with other activities. Project manager is / was the lead in communication. Availability and responsiveness were at high level which is very admirable. Including other colleagues with specific knowledge when needed was very beneficial. Time line was crucial for us and it was met from Innoybte side.

Problem solving with suggestions giving attitude. Responsiveness was more than expected. All issues that appeared were solved fast and successfully.

No at this point of time.
