Paramount Computer Systems is a cyber security company operating in the Middle East region. I am their Marketing and Communications expert.

We hired Innobayt to revamp our website. Our website was old in terms of design and functionality and we wanted to hire a top-quality vendor to revamp our website with modern design, SEO, CMS, etc.

We chose Innobayt based on their quality of projects they had executed in the past in terms of website development, being cost effective with also having good experience in website revamp.

We had discussed the project's goals and objectives and the timelines for the deliverables. The team delivered the design options which will be suitable for a Cyber Security company and then delivered the first draft. We had added additional content in terms of new products and services and a number of iterations as it was quite important for us to have the content displayed in an informative manner and Innobayt handled all the changes quite smoothly and professionally.

Project manager and the website developer were my main point of contact for this project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We had upwards of 20% increase in website traffic due to the new revamp and our management team particularly was quite impressed by the quality of work done on the website.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The communication process was quite smooth. Project manager, website developer and myself had weekly calls on Microsoft Teams to discuss the progress and whenever any immediate changes were required. The timelines were met by the Innobayt team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Innobayt team handled the complete project from design options, SEO advices on our content, CMS trainings in a very professional manner. My involvement was minimal as the Innobayt team knew exactly what was required and their suggestions were top notch. Their high-quality and cost-effective work was something I was impressed with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None. I am really happy with the way this project has been executed.

I’m the founder of a parking app. We’re a startup but we’ve yet to become a revenue-generating organization.

What challenge were you trying to address with Innobayt Innovative Solutions?

I needed someone to develop a mobile app centered around parking in the UAE. I had originally given it to a freelancer in India but I didn’t like their service and found them very challenging to work with. I wanted to hire someone locally, so I engaged Innobayt.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Innobayt developed my mobile app and my website. I shared my idea with the team and they helped scope out my requirements. They developed the app for iOS and Android and built a web-based application for me to use as an admin.

The app allows users to add their car’s license plate numbers on the platform and select the slot they wish to park at. It then generates an SMS code for the drivers. Besides keeping track of how many parks they’ve done and how much they’ve been spending, the platform also sends users reminders for when their parking is expiring.

Right now, we’re releasing the app as a free model to attract new users to the platform. We’re planning to have a chargeable private parking function integrated by the beginning of next year.

What is the team composition?

They assigned a project manager and I worked with a UI/UX designer, but I didn’t interact with the developers. I also dealt with their accounts person for payments.

How did you come to work with Innobayt Innovative Solutions?

I googled companies in Dubai and interviewed 3–4 service providers. I found Innobayt to be the best agency to partner with for this project.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $18,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from July–December 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s cool what their team could do. Innobayt was greatly helpful in coming up with the geofencing idea, which would enable our app to suggest parking lots closest to a user’s location. That was a really cool feature and their design skills are awesome.

How did Innobayt Innovative Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management was excellent and everything went really smoothly. Innobayt split the project into phases and kept me informed on the progress. They also managed to keep the timeline that they promised. 

I had one point of contact and she handled everything from A–Z. We communicated via phone call.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Innobayt was very committed. Everything was open; there was nothing hidden from their side. I only had a skeletal concept but they helped me complete my entire idea and brought it to life. They’re very technical and know what they’re doing. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

If they could charge less for their services, that’d be good. I can’t complain though because their services were very good. It’s just that I could’ve gotten a much lower price offshore.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Before jumping into the idea, sit down with their business analyst. Be open with them because they’ll be very helpful. Innobayt will suggest a few key features that you hadn’t even thought of and they will provide consultation along with their service.

The Security Owl is a cybersecurity startup located in the UAE that deals with mobile app penetration testing, web app penetration testing, network penetration testing, and portal engineering exercises.

We offer a complete cybersecurity set of solutions mostly focused on penetration testing services.

What challenge were you trying to address with Innobayt Innovative Solutions?

I wanted a decent website. Whenever we go to a new client, the first thing they check out is your website. I went to Innobayt for the project.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Their team built a brand new website for me. I provided all the content on the website because cybersecurity isn’t everyone’s piece of cake. I also asked them to check our similar websites to check out their content. I’ve written a few blogs for the organization that I’m working for, so I asked them to check out my blogs and transfer them to my site. I provided the content, but the color scheme, visuals, and the layout was their idea.

This is a static website, so one of the additional features that I’d asked them for was to form an admin portal to update the blogs. That was an additional feature that I’d asked them to perform. They also created the logo.

As for technologies used for the site, I believe they recommended a data-based platform and that the website had to be on ASP. The app developer was more comfortable working on a .NET platform, so I gave them the go-ahead.

They also made a separate administrative page for me where I can upload blogs onto the platform. They basically provided backend support for me to make any changes.

What is the team composition?

Our project manager was our main point of contact. We also worked with a developer.

How did you come to work with Innobayt Innovative Solutions?

I researched online. I checked their website. I went with them because I received a good deal. All of the other quotes I received were higher.  

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $5,000–$10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The partnership started in February 2021 and ended in the first week of April 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re a startup and still working on it, so we don’t have any sort of statistics or metrics as of now.

As for general feedback, family, friends, and colleagues have all loved the website. They especially loved the colors and design. This is a beautiful website, and I have no complaints.

How did Innobayt Innovative Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Our project manager was a wonderful person to work with. There were multiple delays from my side with the website’s content, and they were very accommodating throughout the entire process.

They did not charge anything extra for the delays from my side. Her response time was usually within three to four hours.

We used to communicate through email and WhatsApp. As soon as I messaged her on WhatsApp, I used to receive a reply within three hours. All of the content sharing and the rest of the business details were all sent over email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What I found was that they’re a new organization. That was an advantage for me because I could deal directly with the project manager. I didn’t have to go to multiple people and escalate anything.

Being a small company, they were able to focus more on project delivery. They also created multiple templates before I even signed up with them. I was able to take a look and see what I preferred. Once I saw that their team knew what I was thinking, I went ahead and signed the contract.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. I knew what my requirements were, and I got exactly what I asked for. There was nothing more that I wanted from my side.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If someone is looking for a new web app, I would suggest going with them. The reason is that Innobayt will deliver everything. Whatever you want, they have the solutions for various clients.

The first thing that new customers need to know is they need to know what they actually want. I knew what I wanted when it came to phases and content. When clients know what they want, they’re going to get the best out of them.

My company's name is IB Tech International. We are into loss prevention solutions, footfall analytics, marking, and coding solutions. We represent a few companies from the United States, Europe, and the Middle East region. I’m the director of the company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Innobayt Innovative Solutions?

We wanted to redesign our website because we added a few latest technologies like AI, a new product to monitor driver behavior, etc. We wanted to add those lines to our website, so we gave the redesigning job to Innobayt.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We wanted them to design and develop our website. Upon completion, we also assigned them to do the SEO for some specific products. In addition, we shared some documentation with them to jumpstart the process, because we wanted to get our products visible on the website and that information is specific to our product.

We also wanted them to link our websites to our principal site, so that it becomes easy for the customer to go through the sites to make technical evaluations of the product easily.

We had initially asked for support from other people to design and develop the website for us, but they didn’t do a good job at the time, so I contacted Innobayt and they did well. In fact, they had shared multiple designs for us to choose from so it was easy for us as well. Innobayt didn’t design the logo. We already had our logo so we shared that with them. As for the content, we came up with some of it and they elaborated it.

What is the team composition?

There are three of them who are in touch with us. The person responsible was the project manager, and the guy who visited me was the phase manager and account executive.

How did you come to work with Innobayt Innovative Solutions?

They’re available in the market so we went through their site while selecting a few IT companies for the development. We even tried some guys from India, but Innobayt was available locally, so it was easy for us to select them.

How much have you invested with them?

For the web designing and development, I think we’ve spent $10,000, $4,500 for the SEO, and $2,000 for the maintenance contract.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them at the beginning of this year. In fact, the discussions started in late 2020 and we signed the order around the 20th of January, 2021.

They finished the project around the 10th of April, but after completing that job, we gave them the SEO and the maintenance contract because we’re quite happy with them — therefore, the partnership is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They did a very good job. I was very happy with the way they delivered, and the website they've developed is very effective. We are able to enhance our business and we’ve also seen a lot of opportunities coming up after they redesigned and redeveloped the website.

How did Innobayt Innovative Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Communication was typically through emails and Zoom meetings. The pandemic situation did not allow frequent visits, so the meetings were mostly through Zoom and emails. We met them twice in coffee shops, and they’ve also visited our office a couple of times but with restrictions.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We have a very cordial relationship. We love working with this company because they’re very flexible and available to discuss anything — we had no limitations whatsoever. That was what made it more impressive working with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. I think they did a good job. I didn't have to ask them for any improvements once they finished it.

Any advice for potential customers?

I have no hesitation recommending them to any other company that asks for a reference from me.

My advice would be to take their input more, because they are quite experienced — these guys are quite knowledgeable and very professional. Design your requirements, share those with them, then seek their advice on how to take it forward — they’re that good.

What challenge were you trying to address with Innobayt Innovative Solutions?

We’ve been based in Dubai for over 15 years, and we wanted to diversify a little bit.

We wanted to develop a mobile application where users can sign up on the app and make requests.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Users can sign up to make requests like Visa renewal on the app, which is called FastPRO. They would also be able to find the documents required and the prices for processing the Visa on the app itself.

They can sign up, make a request, select the location from which they would want us to collect the document, and do the payment processing. There was a payment gateway integrated.

Once the request is made, we have an admin panel to update our status for the Visa processing. The users will then be notified if we need additional documents from them, for example. Once the documents are ready, we update that on the admin panel, which will notify the user that it’s ready, and then they can select the location and time for the document to be delivered.

We would then send our staff with the documents, which will be delivered to the client’s location.

What is the team composition?

We were in direct contact with one of the project managers who was assigned to us. She was our primary point of contact.

We did meet a couple of their designers and their business analyst. A few times, some developers from India joined our calls. There were about six to eight people in total that we were in touch with.

How did you come to work with Innobayt Innovative Solutions?

We found them by searching for app developers online. They’re based in the same building as we are in Dubai, so we met them.

We spoke to their project managers, told them our requirements, and the quote that they gave us seemed to be reasonable for us.

How much have you invested with them?

Overall, it was around $20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

I believe we started around January or February 2020.

We requested a few changes in the development phase, and there were a few flaws pointed out by the business analyst. These instances delayed the project by a few months.

It was eight or nine months until we rolled out the app.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The team provided us with a Gantt chart with all of the different items and milestones for whatever had to be delivered. They had specified clear timelines on when exactly they would deliver the different versions of the project. They would send us a link, which we would use to test it out.

The quality of the development work was very good. I can say that there were a couple of issues and bugs that we found as soon as they gave us the build, but it was all rectified in a few days.

The app was in pretty good shape when we received it, beyond the development quality. I think it was their contribution in terms of the business input and the suggestions that they give. It actually saved us a lot of money.

How did Innobayt Innovative Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

It was pretty good from a project management standpoint. Whenever there were additional changes, they let us know that if it would affect the delivery timeline by a certain number of days. They were pretty clear on how our change requests would affect the delivery of the project.

In terms of timelines, we didn’t see any issue with them. They were on time, and in fact, delivered before the timelines, which allowed us enough time to test and try it with beta users before rolling it out.

We mostly communicated over email and Zoom, but they did share their Azure DevOps with us with the different project timelines and items assigned to the developers. We discussed things over email and calls, and they were in constant touch with us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team gave us suggestions that helped us try and understand the user’s requirements better first before we invested a lot in a full-fledged app. That helped us a lot and some suggestions that they have given us regarding how the admin panel should be and what kind of data would work.

Their business input was quite helpful.  

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t really think of anything. Overall, our experience was very good.

There might be room for improvement in terms of support. We have an annual contract that starts in one month, but I think if they included it as part of the project, it would’ve been quite good.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

As a client, if you’re open to suggestions from them, they might have quite valuable input to give.

Even if you don’t go with them for development, they’re quite helpful and would give you some insight that you probably wouldn’t have thought about. As a client, if you’re open to feedback and suggestions, that would definitely be worth it.
