IngeniousMindsLab helped us develop an iOS and Android app as per my requirement. The app includes lots of features like offline push,online push, offline mode , verses of the day,inapp purchase, apple pay, google pay, easy animation of book swiping , custom audio player etc. I’ve interacted with two developers and a project manager. The team addressed issues with receptivity and responsiveness. They delivered quality work accompanied by continuous status updates.

IngeniousMindslab have a predefined process for manage project. Initially i discussed all the project with project manager and once project scoped finalise then resource manager will assign resources and got email about project plan or basecamp. They will divided entire projects in to sprints along with timeline. Once development finished QA will check build and deliver stable version for work updates along with all details .

We already had the API and the web app ready. IngeniousMindsLab created mobile mockups based on the web app. After reviewing those, we began the development phase. It’s been nearly two months now since we began our collaboration, and quite a lot of the app is done—about 40–45% of it.

Their project management is good, though we had some difficulties with design issues. Some elements were neglected for a while, but that’s the only negative thing we’ve encountered. Most of our communication is through phone and email, and we have daily check-ins with them.

It would be great if they could pay more attention to design details. That would make my job much easier.

At first, Bhavesh (CEO, IngeniousMindsLab) transferred the entire website to WordPress. He made sure all the regular options were working and integrated the Stripe plug-in for WooCommerce.

I provided some pictures while he bought a template that was the basis for our design. Bhavesh helped us with the layout and extra functionalities. For example, I wanted to put an inquiry button and a pop-up form under all the jewelry products. He also made it possible for users to select the ring sizes.

Rather than relying on our guidance to build the app, they offered their own suggestions.

We’ve run two different projects with their team. The total estimate for both is about $58,000.

We started working with them in November 2017, expecting to launch the app in February 2018. Because of a delay in our local marketing strategy, the release date was pushed to March 2018. At that point, there were still some adjustments we needed to make. After handling those corrections, we rolled out the app and it’s functioning properly.

We’re received mixed feedback on the app. The client praised some functionalities, while other features weren’t as well received. We take full responsibility for this reaction because our design didn’t appropriately meet our client’s vision. We shared the feedback with IngeniousMindsLab and they willingly redesigned the app, despite the additional effort and resources the process required.

How did IngeniousMindsLab perform from a project management standpoint?

Working with an outsourced team, I expected some clashes in terms of timeliness, availability, and overall communication. We had some doubts at the beginning of the engagement, but once we got to know and their workflow, we grew more confident in their capabilities.

They were very hard workers, often working nights and weekends to assure we met our client’s deadlines. We consistently tracked our project through a management platform that allowed us to share comments and feedback. They always responded promptly to our questions or concerns.

They hold themselves responsible for their work. With honesty and transparency, their team always let us know if there was a delay or if a certain task fell outside of their skillset.
