I'm a Co-founder of RedFOX Labs which is a Vietnam based venture builder that creates internet companies for the emerging markets of Southeast Asia. Driven by customer experience, we focus on digital inclusion and disrupt legacy business models in e-commerce, e-media, e-travel and gaming sectors.

We wanted a mobile application to serve people in Southeast Asia's digital economy, starting with Vietnam's e-commerce industry. Our app seeks to solve problems in the e-commerce space, with a focus on great customer experience and digital inclusion.

We contributed the wireframes and detailed Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) to help InApps with the scope and design of the project. The app has been built using Native React, suitable for iOS and Android. InApps provided us with a detailed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), which gave us clear milestones, assigned cost and manhours (MH) required for each implementation.

What was the team composition?

I dealt mostly with the Project Manager and CEO, and from time to time one of the team members would join the group chat to discuss specifics about a particular implementation. Whole project included: (1 PM, 1 BA, 3 Dev, 1 QC)

We are yet to launch the app, but the feedback from everyone we have shared the app with has been very positive. InApps have been very responsive and quick to fix any bugs and address our feedback.

I was able to communicate with the PM on a daily basis. The entire process was very transparent and communication was great.

InApps Technology partnered with Vietnam Outsourcing Hub to deliver a secure, scalable digital wallet platform for a U.S. fintech startup, enabling peer-to-peer payments, in-app currency management, and integration with existing banking rails.
Following initial solution consulting and planning, InApps defined a microservices-based architecture compliant with PCI DSS and U.S. financial regulations. Then they produced high-fidelity UI/UX prototypes for iOS, Android, and web dashboards, which were validated through user testing.
The mobile apps were built natively in Swift and Kotlin, while the React.js web dashboard provided responsive views for account management and transaction history. Core wallet features, account creation, KYC uploads, balance inquiries, and notifications were integrated alongside third-party APIs for ACH transfers, card tokenisation, and fraud detection.
On the backend, a Node.js/Express API with PostgreSQL and Redis-powered transactional workflows. Ethereum smart contracts enabled in-app currency issuance and NFT-backed rewards. InApps deployed this stack to AWS ECS using Kubernetes, RDS, S3, GitHub Actions for CI/CD, and Terraform for infrastructure as code.

We’ve engaged InApps Technology to supply us with software development resources. First, we outlined our requirements for each resource; we were initially looking to onboard one senior and one medium–junior developer to build the foundation of our team.

After meeting with InApps Technology to explain the core competencies, years of experience, and desired skill sets, they presented us with pairs of candidates matching our requirements. Then, we conducted two interviews to test the candidates’ competencies. Once we chose our team of developers, they helped us build our product: software that allows landlords and operations staff to understand their tenants better.

The software essentially acts as a matching engine for users to find roommates who they’re compatible with, so they can thrive. Our tool sends tenants a psychometric test that we transform into a profile to share with landlords. Then, our platform uses the tenants’ data to identify a compatible group of potential roommates and matches them together. Since supplying us with the first two developers, we’ve engaged one more resource through InApps Technology.
