The scope of work included building the NRFI Zone platform from the ground up as a full scale sports analytics application. This involved both frontend and backend development, UI and UX design, data integrations, and implementing core business features to support growth and monetization. Improvs developed a clean and modern mobile and web interface that allows users to easily navigate between dashboards, pitcher analytics, team data, and matchup insights. They built real time data pipelines to support live odds tracking and continuously updating statistics, ensuring the platform remains fast and reliable. A major part of the project was implementing the AI driven probability system, allowing users to view NRFI and YRFI predictions based on multiple data inputs. They also integrated subscription functionality with multiple tiers, payment processing, and promo code capabilities to support user acquisition and retention. Additional deliverables included a fully functional bet tracking system where users can log bets, track performance, and analyze results over time. They also ensured the platform was scalable for future feature expansion and optimized for performance across devices. Overall, Improvs delivered a complete, high quality application that exceeded expectations in both functionality and design.

Within the first 4 weeks of launch, the app reached over 3,000 downloads, demonstrating immediate market interest and effective execution. The platform also scaled quickly to over 5,000 total users, showing strong adoption and engagement. In addition, more than 1,000 users signed up for free trials within the first 2 weeks, highlighting the effectiveness of the onboarding experience, product value, and subscription strategy.

Improvs demonstrated excellent project management throughout the entire process. They consistently delivered items on time and often moved faster than expected without sacrificing quality. Their team was highly organized, communicative, and proactive in keeping the project on track. They were extremely responsive to any questions or requests I had, often replying quickly and implementing changes just as fast. Feedback was handled efficiently, and they were very flexible when adjustments or new ideas were introduced.

What stood out most was the level of design quality and attention to detail they brought to the project. The final product looks and feels significantly better than anything else in my space, both in terms of functionality and overall user experience. Everything from layout to flow to small details was executed at a very high level. Representative work includes: Multi-format dynasty valuation system supporting 12 league-format variants (dynasty/redraft × 1QB/Superflex × PPR tiers), including a production database migration on a 4,897-row table, a 12-URL sync loop against FantasyCalc's API with partial-failure handling, and refactor of the chatbot tooling to honor format arguments end-to-end. League-aware chatbot infrastructure integrating Sleeper league settings detection, so the same player returns different values and recommendations depending on which of a user's leagues they're asking about. Trade analyzer logic, historical value fetching, and Vegas odds reasoning integrated into the Howie Wynn chatbot surface. Schema migrations with documented rollback plans, composite index design, and backward-compatibility handling. Full test-fixture updates across multiple test files, with a recent delivery including 1,147 automated tests passing and 20 out of 20 real-user scenarios validated across four production-configured fantasy leagues.

Trade analyzer payload reduced from approximately 5KB to 400 bytes per request, with corresponding latency improvement. Production migration on a 4,897-row table completed additively with zero data loss and a documented rollback path.

Milestones are delivered on the timelines we scope. When complications arise — schema ordering, backward-compatibility concerns, migration risk — Anton raises them proactively in planning rather than surfacing them at delivery. On the recent multi-format sync project, he flagged a migration-ordering risk that would have caused duplicate-key errors if handled wrong, identified it in the planning phase, and structured the deployment sequence to avoid it. Improvs.com's communication is fast and asynchronous-friendly. He works across time zones and responds in hours, not days. When I push back on scope, cost, or technical approach, he engages directly and substantively rather than defensively.

Two things. First, the insistence on milestone-based contracts rather than hourly. This aligns incentives cleanly — I pay for outcomes, they get paid for delivery, and we both know what "done" means before work starts. Most contractors I interviewed defaulted to hourly arrangements. Anton's milestone-based default is a signal of confidence in his own estimates and throughput, and it's made our working relationship simpler from day one. Second, the willingness to push back. On more than one occasion Anton has challenged a technical decision I came in with, and on more than one of those occasions he's been right. That's worth significantly more than a contractor who executes whatever you specify without question.

 We had made a sufficient tentative--i.e.,"working"--website and then literally searched for years trying to find the right webdesign team capable of a redesign to do justice to the extraordinarily complex and recondite needs of the Noodynamics Institute. Despite many promising leads and prospects, we simply could not find the necessary blend of technological brilliance, creative vitality, and inspired vision capable of building the cyberspace facade our virtual academy needed for many years. Then we discovered Anton Zalis and his team at Improvs.com. It is not hyperbole to describe this crew as a veritable "dream team" of webdesign. They exemplify the type of expertise that does not merely actualize every structure and function desired, but expands and intensifies even the loftiest of hopes and expectations; the type of excellence that does not do every single thing one asks for without omission, but NOT due to oversight, rather based on the fact that many of their ideas are so superior to one's own, that one is simultaneously humbled and honored to be countermanded. It is the policy at Improvs that the customer gets what they want, with unlimited revisions to make this promise a reality, but I can state unequivocally that there was not a single occasion in which an alternate scenario was used by Anton and his team, and we asked for it to be done as originally specified. One knows one is in the presence of true greatness when one's best laid plans are frequently revised and the result is so awesome that emberassment at one's own limited vision forestalls any possibility of disappointment. Nor is this massive array of talent and skill aprioristically detached from content, but instead thoroughly inspired, well beyond sufficiency, making the team no mere temporary employees of the company, but a de facto part of one's project and its aspirations from conception to conclusion. The team is a pleasure to work with, both in talent and temperament, and their professionalism is second nature, whether the interactions are related to conceiving great plans or correcting insufficient attempts. They are blessed with brilliance coupled with an openmindedness that is too rare in this imagination-constrained domain. Moreover, this is one of the very few tech-oriented companies that is remarkably free of ideological pretense or specialist bias, and is therefore meritocratically driven. In a field full of many great intellects but also many impoverished souls, with a surprisingly large percentage sincerely believing that little of importance preceded the so-called Information Age, this is a tight-knit team of young avant-garde creatives whose work is enhanced by a deep culture-historical sensibility.
