Sahya is into trading of standardized herbal extracts, organic ingredients and nutraceutical ingredients for leading herbal medicine manufactures and suppliers across Europe, America and Asia. And about myself, I am a co-founder of Sahya Life Sciences.

We hired Imajine to brand our start-up and develop digital commerce web portal.

How did you select Imajine and what were the deciding factors?

Imajine was a word of mouth referral from a friend, for whom Imajine had developed their complete web presence. We really liked their style of work, hence chose to go with them.

Scope: Logo design, Stationery design, Product packaging graphic design, E-commerce web portal UI/UX design and development.

Project Steps:

1. Logo design - They gathered our requirement and shared a couple of design options. We co-founders had specific suggestions, and they revised the designs and shared few more options. The new set of designs captured clearly everything we wanted and there was one particular logo we all liked and chose it as our logo.
2. Using this logo they designed stationery and product packaging graphic designs for us. Here too they had shared a couple of options. In fact we liked all the shared designs.
3. UI/UX mock up design for our e-store - They shared two set of mock up design of which one design was liked by all of us. We wanted couple of elements on this design which they implemented quickly.
4. Web portal development Technologies - WooCommerce web portal was developed for us. They also took care of domain registration and Linux web hosting services. Our portal was built using PHP, MySQL, Web animation using jQuery and JavaScript. They integrated our local payment gateway. The website was made responsive for the smaller devices and popular browsers. They delivered a good pagespeed ranking for our site. Key deliverables: Graphic designs for logo/stationery/packaging, e-commerce web portal

Imajine provided us with two dedicated senior resources each taking care of our design and development requirement. Positions - Senior graphic designer and senior website developer

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

From the delivery perspective, their work is exceptional. We were expecting a usual ecommerce website. We were pleasantly surprised to see an animation in our web portal which elevated the complete experience for our visitors. They are truly out of the box creators.

We had weekly stand-up calls with the team. Since none of us are technically sound, Imajine would simplify the process and explain. They may not always rush to our speed, they would clearly mention their timeline and has always delivered work on schedule.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are experienced professionals and all the service received was tailor made to our ethos.

We wanted an organization which was right sized for a start-up like ours and who could focus their time and attention to work with 10xDS as an extended arm. We chose Imajine due to the impressive pedigree of its founders as well as the credentials they carried.

10xDS engaged Imajine in the first project to build our brand and logo during which we found them extremely focused, productive and delivering quality work. This gave us the confidence and comfort in awarding the second phase - website development to Imajine.

Based on our discussions, the team provided us with a couple of mock-up designs, which post deliberations and revisions resulted in the final design which was adopted in developing the content management system - WordPress corporate website.

The content was provided by 10xDS and post development the site was tested across different browsers and devices and deployed to the live domain. Imajine helped us to optimize the site for search engines and helped in enhancing the page speed of the site.

We had a dedicated two member team working with us during the project entirety - designer and developer.

The brand identity that Imajine helped us create was unique, powerful, and appreciated by all stakeholders. The 10xDS website was quick, clear and crisp which helped in getting listed in the top of search results.

Post the initial heavy lifting discussions, we moved into weekly project discussions that helped understand the progress of the engagement and provide solutions to any challenges that came up. In addition, we had a project milestone based stakeholder connect sessions as well.

The dedication and commitment of the leaders at Imajine to get things right from the beginning and embedding themselves as an extended team was the x-factor that 10xDS leadership appreciated throughout the engagement.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None that bothered 10xDS.

We made a shortlist and selected Imajine based on their provided input and answers on questions asked, together with their price range.

Our website had to be updated to Wordpress. After the initial meeting regarding scope of work we had regular contact on progress. It was specially good to see that on the sometimes repetitive change requests from our side, Imajine kept us up to date with a professional and consistent approach to communication.
