What challenge were you trying to address with ImageX?

We hired ImageX to revamp our existing website. The primary goals were to enhance user experience, increase user engagement, and boost lead conversions. Specifically, we aimed to create a modern, responsive website that showcased our financial services and complied with industry regulations. Additional objectives included enhancing site performance for faster load times, optimizing for SEO to boost organic traffic, and integrating a user-friendly CMS to allow our team to manage content efficiently.

What was the scope of their involvement?

ImageX was responsible for the revamp of our existing website. The scope included discovery and strategy, UX/UI design, front-end and back-end development, and post-launch support. They conducted user research and competitor analysis to inform the design, created wireframes and high-fidelity mockups, and developed a fully responsive site optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile. ImageX also integrated a user-friendly CMS (Drupal), implemented SEO best practices, and ensured compliance with financial industry regulations. Main deliverables included modern, responsive webpages, optimized site architecture for SEO, and a performance report highlighting improved load times. They also provided training for our team to manage content and basic maintenance post-launch.

Initially our requirements were for an overhaul of our existing website that will be branched off to three separate sites. The goal is to create a design and build for our main site that can also be used by the two other sites we are proposing. The pre-existing Teach For All web site was designed and produced in 2017. Minor modifications were made to functionality, layout templates, and featured sections since. 
Our decision to redesign the website was based on the desire to improve our user experience, evaluate our intended audience and message focusing, and also the fact that we were facing a Drupal 7 to 9 upgrade. We required a complete redevelopment of the site in Drupal 9. It was imperative that the design and development both consider the integration of necessary requirements to be ADA compliant. 
Speed and page loading time, especially on pages with curated data, such as from views or paragraphs, was a challenge in our old site. Our goal was to create a site to be visually appealing but at the same time is fast-loading, easy to navigate, and intuitive, as well as an informative experience that conveys the work and goals of Teach For All in a clear and concise manner. We required a complete redesign, redevelopment and content migration for our original project. 
Once it was completed we immediately began work on our third site, our second project which also needed design, development and UX support. While the third project was in progress we also required regular support and maintenance on the original project.

Our decisions may not always be the best and they readily, and respectfully counsel us on other options and potential ramifications of choices and requests we may put forth. We work together on solutions. I never have to wait long at all for a response to a question or request - be it via Slack or Basecamp.

None come to mind. If ever an issue comes up we discuss and resolve it quickly.

Response time was prompt and as expected. Our team would struggle a bit with the messaging system used, however having a record dating back to the start of service was beneficial. There may have been once or twice a task took longer than expected and that was not communicated.

ImageX redesigned a large university school of engineering website, migrating an old Drupal site to an updated one. They also provide maintenance on the site.

Not have so much turnover in the beginning of our working together. Turnover rate has since seemed to stabilize.
