We hired Ideas Animation to create an animated holiday greeting video with custom characters, background, music, and animations.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted an upbeat holiday greeting that was not too long. We wanted our customers to enjoy receiving something completely different from us.

I reviewed companies on Fiverr and they had a great portfolio. Most of all though, was their responsiveness to my inquiries and their organized approach which is very important when you work online together.

We discussed our initial concept and ideas. Ideas Animation Studio presented a preliminary drawing of our character and a storyboard. We then proceeded to set up a timeline for deliverables and began work. I received daily emails from the PM and the project moved forward at a constant pace.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

We used Google docs to share documents back and forth, had a couple of calls, and exchanged emails daily.

We did not have to do much editing as the storyboard was very accurate for what we wanted. Communication is key.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had no issues with workflow.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was surprised they could deliver such a nice project on such a short delivery schedule. We came late to our idea and didn't know if anyone would be able to deliver. They did an outstanding job.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We were very happy with our project. I have learned a lot about being precise in communication.

Next time I’d spend a little more time on digesting the script, making sure all is clear, potentially saving time in execution

The 202 football fixture was viewed for a player. The highlights of the player were identified and then collated. Music and editing were performed and a 2 minute product was derrived.

The video is an animated Video Sales Letter (VSL) in which I wanted to hook in the prospective purchaser through telling a story about my journey to date.

Their project management and feedback were excellent, always coming back to me promptly and even working on weekends to meet deadlines. communicating either through Zoom, Whats App, or Google Docs.

The website has not gone live yet, so i am unable to give any feedback in terms of sales. Happy to report when it has gone live.

This was our first time doing a video like this so we didn't have much experience about it, they were very patient explaining how it works and even did things that were not part of the agreement so we were satisfied.
