How did you select Idealoft Studio?

Idealoft was referred to me by one of my friends after which I reached out to them. They scheduled a quick demo of services they offer and provide some drafts of there previous which really impressed me.

Describe the project in detail.

The approach Idealoft took to get requirements from me really impressed. Being working as Systems analysts in the IT industry, I know how hard it is to bring the right question to the table to get requirements from the business.

They shared different meetings to finalize colors, fonts styles that need to be used in the final design. They have done their own research and suggested some best functionalities that need to be included. Overall a great experience

I always worked with Nishi and she is very responsive.

We didn't go live yet. We are targeting 2021 August

Very good and responsive even though I am in a different time zone they are very accommodative

Nothing for now since my project is ongoing.

I’m the marketing manager at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, an insurance provider in Mumbai.

What challenge were you trying to address with Idealoft Studio?

We wanted to redesign our landing pages for certain products as well as the purchase flows of certain products.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had an introductory meeting with them initially where we gave them what we wanted. They redesigned the UX/UI for our landing page. We’ve worked with them on 7-8 projects. Three of the projects are finished and the others are a work in progress.

What is the team composition?

I worked with the founder, UI design, and UI developer.

How did you come to work with Idealoft Studio?

Our bank is a subsidiary of a private bank in India. Idealoft Studio was a vendor for them. Through that, we attended one of their workshops and decided we really liked them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested about $14,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2019, and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I found them to be very creative and patient. Since this was a designing project, there were a lot of reiterations and different people had different views. They had to change the designs several times. Even though were 100 reiterations, they were very patient with it and they really delivered.

They helped us ideate and solidify where we wanted what and what our customers would find really appealing. It was a process where all of us were working together. They were like an extended part of our in-house team. 

How did Idealoft Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via Google Meet where they can share their screens and show me their designs. We also correspond through email if I have to share any requirement documents. Sometimes we miss a couple of deadlines but if I tell them it’s very critical, they make sure that they deliver. I keep an Excel Sheet where I tell them what the ongoing projects are and when I’m expecting it. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

My favorite part of working with them is brainstorming. There are so many things that I didn’t know or think of.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Initially, when we started working with them, it took a bit of time to adjust to it. They have so many clients and booking the appointments with them was a challenge. Now that we have a flow, I’m able to schedule the meetings smoothly. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Discuss as much as you can with them. They come up with really good ideas. They’re really patient. They’ll give you a lot of options in terms of design and propositions.

BACKGROUND

I’m the owner of Coquette Homemade, a home bakery. I make healthier versions of cakes and cookies using whole-wheat and ragi flour. I make healthy, gluten-free, and sugar-free pastries.

What challenge were you trying to address with Idealoft Studio?

I had to market my business, and I needed a logo and branding.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Idealoft created my logo and all other designs. We had an initial session where we explained the idea behind making these products and what makes us different. It was a kind of storytelling session, out of which Nishi (Founder) suggested the Coquette name. 

I happened to mention to her that my daughter calls chocolate “coquette”. We had a story behind the naming and branding, so it wasn’t just created out of nothing. They took the time to get into our lives and understand where things were coming from, and then built the entire thing out of that. 

Our logo and branding are comprised of scribbles because Nishi happened to see some drawings my daughter made. My daughter’s actual scribblings are incorporated into our business cards and all other brand elements. Idealoft beautified those and added color to them. 

We didn’t even mention this to Nishi, but she managed to take that theme and implement it into the brand. They created our business cards, menu, billboard, and everything else we needed. All of those include details of our brand story.

What is the team composition?

We only worked with Nishi.

How did you come to work with Idealoft Studio?

Nishi’s husband and mine used to work together. I mentioned to her that I was looking at creating a brand during a casual meeting, and she asked me to let her know when I decide to start. My husband is a designer himself, although he works on transportation design.

How much have you invested with them?

The total cost was around 3 lakh Indian rupees (approximately $4,000 USD). Our first project with them was just for basic designs, so it didn’t cost a lot, but we’re looking at expanding it.

What is the status of this engagement?

I worked with Idealoft between September–November 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We used to have bake sales in our community, similar to the ones in the US. We went to one and gave out our business cards, and people were impressed with our brand. Their first question was why we chose “Coquette” because it’s not a very common name in India. 

Everyone’s reaction was very positive when they heard how we came up with it. Our brand isn’t what people usually see, and it got really good feedback. It brought a smile to people’s faces. I’ve had the logo since November 2019, but I never get tired of seeing it. 

How did Idealoft Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

The team was fantastic, and they worked really fast. I approached Idealoft quite late, and I wasn’t sure I could participate in the event. I told Nishi that we had just a month to get the entire branding designed and printed, and she told me not to worry. 

We had nothing in place, so the fact that they were able to do everything in a month was amazing. We were really happy with everything. I was thinking that we’d participate the next year, but she told me that we were doing it that year.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their attention to detail is impressive. Generally, a designer wouldn’t care so much about the “how, when, and what.” They’d just ask us about the color and how we want to do it. Idealoft took part in everything, they understood where we were coming from, and they made something out of it. 

They had a really good approach to everything they did, which I feel other people don’t have. I did approach other designers, but none of them asked me the kinds of questions that Idealoft did.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not that I can think of. Nishi worked on our brand as though she was doing it for herself.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Clients have to be transparent with Idealoft and tell them what they’re looking for. After that, they’ll know what they have to do. We had normal conversations with them and we were ourselves.

We had received good recommendations about Idealoftstudio, so we started out with a test project whose results we really liked and then gave them the work for our entire ecommerce portfolio.

We work with multiple ecommerce partners like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and have our own ecommerce website. the project entailed around designing website or display banners for product stories basis each of the platforms. It also involved creating Marketing landing pages and SIS designs.

We had a client manager as POC thru which all the project requirements were communicated. There were a bunch of designers working on the project and 1 developer taking care of the marketing landing page website coding.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since we were able to cut out turn around time by more than 40%, we were able to achive website creative iterations much faster helping us bring down our cost of conversions and improving our website coversion rates.

Since was only one point of contact who effectively understood all requirements and accordingly shared all deliverables it was fairly easy to work with their team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The team is dedicated and will provide your support even during weekends and non working days if something urgent and business critical comes up.

We had a simple interface through which our drop rate was less than 30% which is unexpected at the MVP level.

Within a month brand was created with packaging material and everything we needed to start of it. Owner made sure that before creating the brand she understood how this company was formed and taking that into consideration logo and everything else was created. There is story behind the brand and it's products :)

Really good as they were just a phone call away. No problems with that whatsoever.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were blown away with the amount of research they had done before even meeting us and on the first meeting itself they were clear with their work and how would everything will be managed within the timeline. The attention to detail and to get that out in a brand was just amazing...

We never thought all this would make such a difference! We loved the fact that everything they did for our brand had this little but very cute details. We have got amazing feedback on the brand from everyone who sees it. It's warm and draws your attention instantly! We couldn't have asked for better. :)

Gensler led a change-management engagement for a company transitioning employees into a new campus. As part of the engagement strategy, the team set out to gamify the “know your new workplace” experience. This took the form of an interactive, laptop-based game where employees could choose a character and explore the new campus virtually. Designed and delivered by Ideoloft in collaboration with Gensler, the game was rolled out to over 7,000 employees to support onboarding and build familiarity during the move.
