They warehouse and inventory the books.

High Col issues ship orders to retailers via i2i's Electronic Distribution Portal.

i2i then send the book shipments to the retail store destinations

Very good. Orders are shipped out with clockwork precision. Delays only occur when there are issues that High Col has to resolve. Customer service is excellent. These comments address a time span of 10 years of collaboration with i2i.

We're a small distributor nationally, our needs aren't a project, they are ongoing operations of receiving, warehousing, packing our orders and a myriad of quirks that come from specific customers with special requirements and we have been fortunate that i2i has been superb in their broad knowledge of shipping to so many different entities. Its really a wealth of skill and resourcefulness this staff has and many have been there for years so literally expert/consultant quality people handing our products in and out.

Is this simple, we're a small entity, we tried renting warehouse space and found the many facets of self warehousing were economically unfeasible for us. We first heard of logistics from a trade show and our first 3PL was one of the countries largest at the time. These folks were brutal! They put stock outside on a daily basis because they ran out of room, they couldn't meet ship deadline, they were mispacking and all round about as helpful as bag of cats. An industry consultant put me on to i2i who were just down the road and we met face to face and got er' done, as they say! I'd say we are working with them now some years, 18 or 19. We're still small, they still treat us like we're an equal customer. Forget everything you read on 3PL websites, its all fluff and blowfish, you have to go there, see the facility and ask all the questions. These i2i folks are the high bar if you really want to minimize distribution headaches.

I'm being redundant if I add anything more here than I already have. For us, these i2i folks are guru's of distribution and accommodating to the nth degree. I cannot recall the last time we asked for something quirly, odd, or convaluted and they just roll in and took care of the need!

100% dependability and reliability on all fronts. Long term staff know us and to a large extent, a lot of our customers so they are consistent in performing the necessary activities without us having to get our blood pressures up!

I'm not certain anything stands out. We did lose use of their MDEL which costs us $5000 a year now but that was a regulatory change from the federal government. A customer christmas party with fabulous prizes might be nice.
