BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and position.
I am the CNO of Tenet Healthcare
Describe what your company does in a single sentence.
Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) is a diversified healthcare services company headquartered in Dallas. Our care delivery network includes United Surgical Partners International, the largest ambulatory platform in the country, which operates ambulatory surgery centers and surgical hospitals.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire HZF –– Gamedev Outsourcing Agency to accomplish?
- At Tenet Healthcare Corporation, we operate a large healthcare network that includes hospitals, surgical hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers across the United States through United Surgical Partners International. Because of the size of our network, our website plays an important role in helping patients find information about procedures, services, and locations. Before working with HZF – Gamedev Outsourcing Agency, our web platform had grown over many years and was becoming difficult to manage. Different teams had added pages and features at different times, and the structure was no longer easy for patients to navigate. Patients sometimes struggled to find the right service page or location details. On the internal side, our marketing and communications teams had trouble updating content quickly. Even small updates often required technical help, which slowed things down. We decided to bring in an outside development partner to help us rebuild parts of the platform and improve the overall user experience. Our main goals were to simplify the website structure, improve loading speed, make the platform easier to manage internally, and create a better experience for patients visiting the site from mobile devices.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
The team at HZF Gamedev Outsourcing Agency started with a discovery phase where they reviewed our existing website and spoke with several internal departments, including marketing, IT, and operations.
They wanted to understand how the platform was used daily before suggesting changes.
After that phase, they proposed a structured development plan that focused on improving the website’s architecture, user interface, and backend management tools.
A large part of their work involved reorganizing the navigation and page structure. They helped us group services and locations in a way that makes more sense for patients searching for care.
They also redesigned several key sections of the website to make them cleaner and easier to read on both desktop and mobile devices.
Another important part of the project was improving our content management process. The team built a system that allows our staff to update service pages, announcements, and other information without needing technical assistance every time.
Performance improvements were also included in the scope. The developers optimized scripts and media files to make pages load faster and run more smoothly.
Before the final launch, the team completed extensive testing across different browsers and devices. They worked closely with our internal IT department to review security considerations and ensure everything met our technical standards.
Key deliverables included redesigned website sections, improved navigation, a more flexible content management setup, performance optimization, and technical documentation for our team.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
After the updated platform went live, we started seeing clear improvements in both usability and internal efficiency.
Patients are now able to navigate the website more easily and locate information about services and care locations without confusion. Our support teams have noticed that fewer people contact us for help finding basic information online.
From an internal perspective, the biggest benefit has been the ability for our teams to manage content independently. Marketing staff can now update pages and publish announcements much faster than before.
For example, during a recent health awareness campaign, our communications team needed to update several service pages at once. Previously this would have required coordination with developers and multiple rounds of edits. With the system HZF built, our team handled those updates directly within the platform.
Overall, the website now feels faster, more stable, and easier to maintain.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Project management throughout the engagement was organized and consistent.
The team used a clear workflow that included regular check-ins, shared task tracking, and progress updates. This made it easy for our team to understand what stage the project was in and what tasks were coming next.
Most deliverables were completed according to the planned timeline. When adjustments were needed due to feedback from our internal teams, HZF adapted quickly and kept the project moving forward.
Communication was also very good. Their team responds to questions promptly and explained technical topics in a way that non-technical stakeholders could understand.
During testing and final revisions, they were especially responsive when we requested small adjustments. And the project is still ongoing because of some maintenence that needs to be done.
What was your primary form of communication with HZF –– Gamedev Outsourcing Agency?
- Virtual Meeting
- Email or Messaging App
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The most impressive part about HZF Gamedev Outsourcing Agency was their ability to understand the real needs of our organization instead of simply focusing on development tasks.
They took time to learn how different departments interact with the website and suggested improvements based on those workflows.
In one meeting with our communications team, they noticed that our staff often had to repeat the same updates across multiple pages. They proposed a shared content structure that allows certain information to update across several pages at once. This small improvement saved our team a lot of time later on.
Their team also remained patient and collaborative during discussions, which was important for a healthcare organization where changes often go through several levels of review.
Are there any areas for improvement or something HZF –– Gamedev Outsourcing Agency could have done differently?
Working with HZF Gamedev Outsourcing Agency was a strong experience for our organization. They delivered a reliable web solution and helped us build a platform that better supports both our patients and internal teams at Tenet Healthcare Corporation.
