We needed help with UX design and web development. We had a website, but wanted a new one with a new domain.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hyperspace Ventures has designed and developed a new WordPress website from scratch for us. We've used ideas from other websites and worked with their designer, who brought it to life based on what we were looking for.

We've discussed the budget and what we were looking for in terms of functionality, design, look, and feel. They set us up in a preliminary meeting where we walked through all that. Then, we were hooked up with a designer who brought a couple of our team members in.

They've walked us through using Figma to provide us with mock-ups and for information sharing. We've done a couple of design reviews to iron out some specifics in terms of font, pictures, look, and feel, and how we wanted everything separated.

They now host our website. We want to be able to update it ourselves, so they've provided us with information on how to do that.

One of our venture partners is also a partner at Hyperspace Ventures. We knew the work they do and that their developers have a good eye for modern user experience. We felt it was a good time to build out a good backend, and we knew they would know how to accomplish the look we were going for. We reached out to Hyperspace Ventures and let them know we were interested in a new website.

We've been working together since January 2025, and the engagement is ongoing.

We've seen a 50% increase in website traffic. Hyperspace Ventures has exceeded our expectations.

How did Hyperspace Ventures perform from a project management standpoint?

They deliver on time and on budget. Their communication is fantastic and very effective. We had weekly meetings to discuss the mock-ups they had put together. We use Asana, Zoom, and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their project management is the best. They do a great job of taking ownership of the project, interpreting what we're looking for, and creating a design. Their communication is fluid, and there isn't a major need from our end to insert ourselves and make major changes to the designs they put together. They do an exceptional job managing the project and completing it in a timely manner.

There's nothing I can note.

Hyperspace Ventures has designed and developed our website from scratch. The team has created a development plan and scope of work, which we reviewed by our legal team. We’ve let them know what we want on the website, and the team has walked us through what we want to display on the site. I’ve provided all the imagery, and Hyperspace Ventures has created a prototype for us to approve.

Hyperspace Ventures has created a landing page with multiple options to click. Users can scroll down, and the page will flip from page to page. The team has also linked our social media accounts. We currently have an agreement for the monthly maintenance of the website and any updates or changes.

We work with Zach, Iliana, and a designer. Iliana is our main contact.

One of my colleagues and Zach had a mutual connection in North Carolina.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re not a revenue-generating business, so the website is more about credibility and getting our message out there. From our perspective, the site serves its purpose.

Everything has been satisfactory. We've had a couple of Zoom meetings to discuss the project. Hyperspace Ventures uses a program to keep me up to date and pass on instructions for certain things.

They’ve satisfied us with the project we wanted. I appreciate their ongoing customer service; I can reach out to them anytime we need updates.

Everything has gone well from our point of view.

We needed help to build our idea from scratch.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hyperspace Ventures has handled our MVP and website design. The team is responsible for the UI/UX design, project management, and front- and backend development. We've built the MVP and gone to market. Since then, we've maintained our engagement with Hyperspace Ventures to constantly improve the product and build out features.

Initially, we provided Hyperspace Ventures with a PowerPoint presentation breaking out everything and how we saw the process flowing. They've done a great job being a thought partner in creating the platform. Their managing partners are all entrepreneurs, so they've helped me connect to other investors. The team has helped me holistically with my whole business.

Hyperspace Ventures leverages Figma and Asana to communicate and design. The team also hosts our platform using AWS, and we own the rights to the code.

Ashley is our project manager, and we've worked with about 20 different Hyperspace Ventures employees throughout our engagement, covering all other types of roles, such as design, front- and backend development, project management, and UI/UX design.

We measure success by the amount of work Hyperspace Ventures has done. The team is efficient. Differentiating which part of their work has been more impactful is challenging because of their integral approach.

We've constantly made improvements, and the platform has received positive feedback.

How did Hyperspace Ventures perform from a project management standpoint?

Hyperspace Ventures manages our development book of work. The team helps prioritize different development tasks, decide when to go, and determine how many hours they'll take. We use Asana, communicate via email, and have weekly calls. Hyperspace Ventures also updated everything on the system.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Hyperspace Ventures is a one-stop shop; they manage everything in the development process. They have everything within their company, so customers don't have to hire a developer, a designer, or other positions.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hyperspace Ventures helped redesign and develop our existing website, which was hosted on Squarespace. We had a couple of phone calls to align with our vision, and they improved the basic products we had. We gave them some examples of photos and videos we wanted to include, and they took care of the rest.

We don’t have numbers, but the website looks much more aesthetically pleasing. We received many comments from people saying that our website looked much better. It was a great experience.

Communication was clear and concise...worked creatively to solve problems and offered various solutions when needed.  Positive energy was very appreciated throughout the length of the project.

We were trying a voice activation approach to the app, which works but we realized we needed a texting/keyboard option as well.  Hyperspace executed what we asked them to do, we came to the conclusion we needed to add this on later.
