Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the executive VP of marketing of a pizzeria company with multiple locations in the Midwest region.

What challenge were you trying to address with HyperDrive Interactive?

We had gathered a lot of data over the years from ordering records. WE hired HyperDrive Interactive to help us leverage that information to increase customer loyalty.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped us with website design and development, email marketing, and SEO. They send regular emails to our customers based on their ordering activity. They also work closely with our digital marketing partners. 

What is the team composition?

We work with three people: Chris (VP Client Services), Robin (Director of Customer Success), and Ryan (Digital Marketing Project Manager). I talk to Chris primarily about ideation and I’ll go to Robin when I need to get something done. 

How did you come to work with HyperDrive Interactive?

Dan (CEO) was my coworker’s brother. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $100,000-$250,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around 2004, and the relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We see a great return on our investment in their work. The email campaigns they run drive customer loyalty and engagement. We would’ve stopped this work years ago if it wasn’t doing what it’s doing. 

How did HyperDrive Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?

I don’t know how they manage the work day-to-day. We meet quarterly to go over the bigger picture. One of my employees works more closely with them to run the projects.

One thing I will say is that I think we might do too many projects with them at once. Therefore, it feels like things move slowly. Maybe the right thing to do would be to better prioritize our projects. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The way they think is unique and impressive. They’re very innovative and know how to think critically about what the best approach is to a problem. The team has a lot of experience and I can trust them. 

Are there any areas they could improve?  

They could improve their design and copywriting talents a bit. Their work is good, but I’ve worked with other agencies whose work is of higher quality. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers? 

You can trust them to get the work done, they’re organized and strategic.

Our company website was completely redesigned since we had an ownership change. We also revamped a lot of our branding to establish a new identity

What were your goals for this project?

I wanted to see the traffic for my website increase and just overall re do the image of the company

Redesigned the company logo and branding elements to give a new look and feel of the image of the company

I am not sure how many people were on the team at Hyperdrive, I interacted with one or two people.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have had increased traffic to our website, and many compliments from the new branding

It was great - anytime I had a question or something to say it was quick and easy

What did you find most impressive about this company?

How easy they made it for me considering I do not like marketing what so ever.
