We were struggling to grow due to an outdated, third-party-managed tech stack and mobile app. With a tight deadline and a major rebuild ahead — essentially creating a new banking platform for 90,000+ customers — we brought in external support to strengthen our internal product teams and accelerate delivery. They provided a dozen experienced product and engineering consultants who helped us shape a value-based roadmap, unpick key risks early, and deliver critical components of the platform in two-week sprints. This included integrations with our new core banking provider and key functionality in the mobile app, using AWS, Go, and React Native.

- All 90,000+ customers moved to the new tech stack by the tight deadline

Following the successful delivery of a new app in just 10 weeks, we asked Hyperact to lead a comprehensive discovery for our flagship mobile app used daily by over 40,000 field service professionals. The discovery project was invaluable in securing additional investment from the business to grow the mobile team in order to modernise the native applications and drastically improve the app experience for field service operatives.

Hyperactive were brought onboard after our previous technical partner failed to deliver. They were given a specific budget and timeframe to get our discovery phase back on track and deliver hi fidelity wireframes, a product roadmap and a working matching prototype

Hyperact have enable us to get our project in front of investors with the confidence that we have a well thought out proposition ready to enter the build phase.

Hyperact absolutely delivered their items on time and to a very high standard. Communication was excellent with with daily stand ups and follow on sessions when needed. As the project went in the scope expanded and they absorbed this without complaint and delivered excellent work.

We needed help creating and embedding a product mindset into our business.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hyperact provided a set of team workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions for our product engineering teams to upskill them in all things product. The sessions covered story writing, story mapping, prioritization, creating flow, and measuring value.

We worked with two teammates from Hyperact.

I'd worked with one of Hyperact's founders before. I chose them over other options because they had a great reputation, knew our business, had an experienced team, and had great people.
