Virtual MD is a booking and scheduling app where a patient can book an appointment. Upon booking, patient can add additional services and then pay for the services. Patient can also view their upcoming appointments & appointments history. On the other hand, a doctor can sign up and create their schedule to receive appointments. After the appointment is over, doctor can mark the appointment complete. The admin can manage both patient & doctor from the admin panel.

The team consisted of a Senior UI/UX resource, an iOS developer, an Android developer, a backend developer, a web front-end developer, a QA specialist and a dedicated Project Coordinator.

Both the mobile applications were ready on time and made live for us to market them. We started receiving downloads on the app and we are already receiving lots of good reviews about the apps.

After talking to several companies in the process we shortlisted HYFATech because they really understood us properly and gave us the right response not only in terms of what we needed but adding valuable suggestions of how we can make it better and easy to use and yet save cost on not developing some of the features that did not add a lot of value.

Their process of discovery workshop was also extremely useful an amazing experience.

It included creating a cloud-based solution for our internal organization and automating our processes. As of now we have covered scheduling and auditing process and are now creating specs for next phase.

During discovery workshop, they started with requirements discussion and analysis followed by information flows, user stories, roadmap and technical understanding document. Then their UI/UX resource created wireframes followed by complete visual design of the product.

It was a prototype that we could interact with. After this, they started development and as of now we are working on next phase.

There were 5 developers with 1 QA resource and 1 project manager as dedicated team. Initially we had been assigned a business analyst along with a UI/UX resource during the discovery workshop.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The development was divided into milestones and we were able to use the platform with in our organization after 2nd milestone. This really helped us bringing on our team members and started using the scheduler feature while the dev team worked on the rest of requirements.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was quite effective as first they focused on requirements and then dove into design and development which really set the expectations right. Moreover, there were pre-secheduled zoom meetings which helped in ensuring the availability of our key resources.

They also helped us understand the development process and used JIRA and Google sites for complete transparency and visibility of the progress.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I would say the communication, level of understanding and transparency would be the most impressive things about HYFATech. They really know how to focus and make our life as a customer easier by going the extra mile.

The scope of work included creating designs and then development of custom mobile apps for iOS and Android along with a Magento based admin panel.

The first step was requirements analysis in which their team understood and analyzed our requirements and gave us an estimate and cost. After kick-off, they started working on wireframes and then designs in the form of clickable UI/UX prototype.

Once design was approved, we moved on to development where it was divided into milestones. At the end of each milestone, we gave review and they incorporated it.

Technologies used were Magento 2.0, Objective C for iOS and Java for Android

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The payments were tied with milestones and this way it helped them and gave us a security as well. We are very happy with the outcome since we had 2 iterations of design and the team was flexible enough to cater all changes.

Their project management was spot on. They completely blended in with our team using our communication tool and they used JIRA for tracking project. They also had a live progress bar related to the project which would show us the current state of the project at all times.

At all times we had access to all internal tools like JIRA which helped us in establishing trust and knowing that they are not hiding anything from us. Timeliness was perfect too.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It is hard to point out one thing as the most impressive or unique. I guess the level of transparency and understanding of our needs and not worrying to adjust accordingly were the best things. Other than that communication was also very impressive.

Case studies included Zara, Iconic. The prime focus was on the Product and Brand Language. After the branding and a final developed concept, we moved into Customer Journey Mapping and User Flow which was essential for app Architecture.

From concept development to user stories and planning sprints. HYFATech worked fast and made great progress in months. We were able to roll out a beta in 3 months.

After that, we worked on improving usability and functionality. HYFA also provided us support after the project which makes the whole experience special.

HYFATech was hired to bring our idea into reality and these guys went above and beyond what we had envsioned. The goal for our product was to have a Market Place for automotive services which connects vendors offering auto services with end users who are seeking to find the best auto service for their automobile on the go. Users can find all nearby CARRmate approved vendors and compare them on the basis of pricing and ratings to find the best service for their automobile. For this we hired HYFATech to do idea validation through requirements gathering, analysis and design prototype. Once this was finalized, they created mobile apps for users, web app for vendors and admin panel for us to manage this market place. Later on we also extended the contract to create a custom front-end website to manage and list all nearby vendors offering auto services.

To get our MVP out starting from idea validation to design to product development within the time limit and affordable cost.

At first Hyfatech helped us with a Business Analyst who understood the complete scope and worked with us in defining and shaping the requirements. Based on requirements, their UI/UX resource created flow diagrams and wireframes which defined the look and flow for our custom mobile and web applications. Our involvement at every stage was crucial to reach our goal and they ensured it by keeping things transparent and pushing us to give constant feedback before entering the next phase. The wireframes were then converted into clickable prototypes by the UI/UX resource which gave us the complete look and feel of how our apps would look like and behave in the hands of end-users and vendors. After UI/UX phase, they started development using Agile scrum model and provided demo to us every 2 weeks into development. This also helped us in giving early feedback and getting the product tailored according to our needs. At the end, we performed UAT and they also gave us 1 month of free warranty period.

CCFP is a web app which helps students prepare for their exams. Students can login and can buy questions and provide answers to it. Students can then can submit their answers and find out how many are correct. There is an admin panel as well to manage the questions and create sets out of it. The technologies used were React for frontend and Node for the backend

There were a total of 5 resources with project manager being the primary POC and then a frontend resource, a backend resource, a SQA Engineer and a DevOps engineer

Everything was delivered on time as comitted by hyfatech. The work was of quality and upto mark as expected

We worked in Agile model with 2 weeks sprints. A demo was scheduled after every 2 weeks to show us the progress and the feedback was incorporated in the next sprint. We used slack for communication and any urgent items were shared via email as well
