BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the CEO & Founder of an Asset-based consulting firm focused on automation of business and access controls.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire HuviTek, and what were your goals?

We had a number of beta-applications and consulting-accelerators already out to market that needed significant work / updates to functionality. We had / have a clear technological roadmap that we were keen to find a partner to deliver. It was important to us to have dedicated resources, have daily communication, to be able to work in an agile fashion, all of which Huvitek could do.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We responded to their marketing campaign, had two meetings with their MD to ensure they had the correct skill sets to provide services to us, then we carried out a small PoC on an existing application. The work that Huvitek carried out was exemplary, their documentation was impressive and we felt they were the right partner for us to proceed with.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

They have updated (according to our technical roadmap) three applications in our portfolio, working across SAP and SAP Fiori technologies. We work in an agile fashion with Huvitek in monthly sprints; I would say they have averaged delivery of 3 - 4 pieces of functionality per month of medium complexity.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We have 2 FTE's effort assigned to us, but that is drawn from a team of 6 consultants.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

As per my early responses, Huvitek have averaged delivery of 3 - 4 pieces of functionality per month of medium complexity. They have not yet missed a deadline.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

English is not the team's first language, however that is managed by always having a strong English speaker on every call. We have twice weekly calls with the team, walking through our deliverables and then the Huvitek team write up documentation, this is signed of by our technical lead and then moves to development. This iterative process has seen our development progress move on leaps and bounds.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed with HuviTek's excitement about helping us to achieve our goals.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not for now.
