Over the last three years we've worked closely with href on several projects, the most recent being a website build with a complex integration to a client's bespoke database management system. We engaged href to deliver the front-end templates based on our designs, Craft CMS integration and custom integration with the client's database.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The website was delivered on time with pixel-perfect delivery of our designs. The bespoke system integration works robustly and was very well coded, despite the client's system being challenging to work with. Our client struggled to find someone who could take on this kind of integration work and are very happy with the end result.

Communication from href is good. They work well to timelines and their shared ClickUp boards give us visibility and transparency of where things are at so that we always know. They are always pick up the phone and always respond to queries quickly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

href's ability to take on some of the most challenging projects continues to impress. Our initial engagement with them several years ago was incredibly complex with lots of difficult integration requirements. They proved their ability to handle this type of work extremely well and our confidince in their abilities continues to grow as we work together more and more.

None that I can think of.

We have worked with href on a couple of projects now and we are really happy with the work provided. We have developers in house but sometimes we need additional resource and href are always there to support us. The quality of work is amazing and they go above and beyond to ensure the project runs well and the end client is happy.

Href read the specs provided, ask questions to ensure they have understood the requirements and even offer alternative solutions to ensure we deliver the best projects we can. They keep us up to date and are happy to jump on calls whenever needed. The websites that they have delivered have been better than expected and the level of flexibility in the websites is amazing.

The communication from href is always amazing - they are very knowledgable and they will always go out of their way to help. We have had some blockers in the past and href have been really understanding and looked at every possible solution.

The communication and organisation on their side is always great and the development team are amazing in what they provide. We have regular catch ups and it's like working with colleagues - they are easy to talk to, provide help and support whenever needed and are very understanding in the pain points of our business. I would be lost without them

We've worked with Href for several years on a number of web build projects. As a creative agency, we specialise in designing high performance, user-centric platforms for our client base, but do not have a web development resource in-house. We use Href as an extension of our team, providing web development support and building our client's sites (and our own) from our supplied designs. The quality, precision and attention to detail in their builds is of an incredibly high standard.

They have a highly skilled development team, who take the time to understand our requirements, asking the right questions and offering the best solutions to any complex build issues or queries from our team. Project management and communication from Href has always been excellent. Their account managers are professional and easy to do work with. They listen to our requirements carefully and communicate very effectively, reacting quickly to our requests and providing regular progress updates throughout the duration of the projects. Their tried and tested processes for delivering these projects are efficient and reliable and ensure timescales are always met, equaling our own high standards when managing projects for our own clients.

I’m the creative project manager of The Farm Factory, a web development and graphic design studio in Wirral, UK. We specialize in creating unique websites and branding for small to medium-sized businesses across the North West.

What challenge were you trying to address with href Agency?

We wanted someone who worked similarly to us. We expected to share with them a site that was typical of the projects we work on. However, when it came to it, the project involved a site type we had no experience with. We needed href Agency to develop that site.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Having the ability to lean on href Agency's expanded knowledge base and experience proved invaluable. We were able to take on the project and deliver to a high standard. Despite varying holdups from the client's side, the site launched and received immediate praise for its updated and refined look and functionality. The client's audience praised the improvements and usability.

How did href Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

href Agency delivered on time. We communicated through virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

href Agency had a fast build and solid communication. We had an overall good rapport despite having a tricky client. The team was down-to-earth and had impressive and extensive knowledge. They were always on hand to help — they were a great bunch of guys.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The biggest learning curve was to have more in-depth discussions and planning regarding how certain features were built within the CMS. By no means a notable negative. More so in view of absolute refinement for future collaborations. This was reflective of both ourselves and href Agency.
