• Any design, documentation, coding, Backlog sizing, Sprint planning, general meeting, and general research & development activities required in order to provide server-side & client-side enhancements to the Akixi web application, as well as support outsourced development activities for the Akixi Mobile Wallboard and Omni-Channel Contact Agent Console Client applications. 
• Any procedural creation & implementation activities, documentation, test script coding, user story maintenance, test case creation & maintenance, and general research & development activities required in order to design & implement an entire test strategy for the Akixi Service web application, and also fully implement & maintain it thereafter. 
• Any design, documentation and coding activities for Akixi mobile applications as well as desktop Omni-Channel panel application. 

The Requirements Analysis shall also consider the product backlog for: 

• Enhancements related to the Omni-Channel Contact Agent Console Client application and server-side API.
• Enhancements related to the Akixi Mobile Wallboard application and server-side API.
• Server-side enhancements in order to support configuration of LiveChat omni-channel integration entries within the Akixi web application. 
• Server-side enhancements required in order to support external integration from the Akixi web application to further omni-channel platforms such as LiveChat and other media platforms (i.e. SMS, FaceBook, etc.). 
• An Akixi Service public reporting/analytics extraction API for external & 3rd party use. 
• Extension of the Akixi Service public reporting/analytics extraction API for internal cross component usage, as well as re-engineering the server-side UI (front-end) content generation logic to use the React web framework etc.. 
• Client-side UI/front-end enhancements and reengineering to use the React web framework. 
• New server-side logic as necessary based on new requirements as they arise during the normal course of business.

In general, the development and delivery was done on time. Having said that, the QA aspect was not self-managed even though a QA lead was assigned and needed lots of guidance/support in order to successfully deliver.

Ability to find resources based on needs. Specific example is ability to find a UX/UI person to help us assess our product.

The performed work included brainstorming, data engineering, design, and development.  

• Tech stack: Elasticsearch 6.x, Angular 16, AntDesign, Docker, and nginx.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was deemed successful after multiple user tests and manual benchmarking across the portfolio.

Hotovo's approach to PM was in sync with how we usually work. Clear project deliverables/milestones, great sync+async communication, and a fine attention to detail.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The devs were up-to-speed with the project internal in <2 weeks -- a superb result considering the project complexity. Two devs across two different timezones (-5hrs) were able to sync without any perceptible issues. The PR review process was straightforward.

As a bonus, the team discovered, reported, and fixed a few minor bugs in the production application too. Such proactive behavior is always appreciated.

Are there any areas for improvement or something HOTOVO could have done differently?

No. We're fully satisfied with HOTOVO's services, and we look forward to working together on future projects.

Delivered applications that met requirements within the necessary timeframe. Applications continue to meet requirements and are updated to the latest technology.

Hotovo project managers built and managed the software development teams and ensured that roadblocks are removed. Scheduling issues and requirements questions were quickly communicated and resolved to meet the delivery timeline.

When we started, some of our requirements led us into using older technologies. Hotovo could have questioned the requirements more to understand the need and then recommended newer container technology. We eventually realized that containerization would be the better path and shifted over.
