I had a lot of blog articles already on my site so I wanted to first improve that content and optimize it for SEO. They had a pretty thorough SEO audit of my whole site which was helpful, but my main goal was to start with improving all the work I had already done.

I mostly worked directly with the campaign manager but they often brought in in members from their content team to our calls to diver deeper into any content-specific tasks for the week.

A lot of the issues from their SEO audit I had no idea about and the first month we focuses on fixing a lot of the more technical issues on my site to improve my site speed overall. Much of the content I already had up was good quality but needed some elements for getting more visibility in search results.

Their team buillt out keyword development plans for each of my target pages and with some changes to keywords / page structure we had seen some improvements even 30 days after the articles were updated

They always gave clear communication and explained to me in simple terms how the changes they're proposing would help grow my site. They were very helpful in accommodating my work style and the type of content I wanted to create.

I was really worried that optimizing my content for SEO would reduce the quality of my creative work. What I appreciated was that right from when I was onboarded, they understood my goals and created a plan that maintained my style but would still give me better results.

Its hard getting others to write quality content in the art or vintage collectible space. I'm very particular about the content that goes on my site, and I wish they had more writers specifically in the art space.

In May 2020, we launched our first campaign which is to use newly published content as part of the site's different silos. The campaign took effect 5 months after when we saw an increase in organic traffic from 319k to 363k. During that period, HV SEO was constantly tweaking the site pages to boost its performance and speed, which also contributed to the improvement in traffic

Their management style was simple and straightforward. We received regular reports and updates about the progress and changes made on the site. They stuck with their timelines and deliverables like they promised.

What really stands out is how the HV team makes SEO seem effortless. The reports are easy to understand and comprehensive enough to keep everybody in the loop, even those who didn't know much about SEO.

I would like for HV SEO to have offer other services outside of just SEO. I was impressed with the way they operate and its annoying to have to use different agencies for other parts of our digital marketing such as web design and social media ads.

The first month was dedicated to identifying my site's best pages and linking them to related pages. The project manager said would help increase my site's "topical relevance" about real estate.

The following months were spent optimizing my other pages using their Page Optimizer Pro which is the tool they own for improving existing content in the eyes of Google. True enough, the pages saw an increase in rankings and traffic because of the changes made by Kyle and his team!

She (project manager) was patient with my questions about SEO. Much of the issues my site had were because of incorrect and outdated SEO tactics I picked up through the years.

She helped me understand why they were wrong and what the team was doing to fix it. I can't stress enough how helpful that was to me as it opened my eyes to how SEO must be done.

Their professionalism and knowledge in their craft is one of the best I've seen from any SEO company. They really take pride in what they do and put a lot of effort in making my site the best it can be.

The team re-did most of the content published and reworked our landing pages to make them load faster and read much better. For the next 7 months, they provided us with keywords to write about on our blog to help create an authority site about online leadership training.

They are probably one of the few SEO companies that run tests to support their strategy and tactics they implemented on our site. This gave me even more confidence that they'll do a good job optimizing our site.

For the first month, they fixed issues on our site after auditing it. Their tweaks boosted the site's overall performance (faster loading time, better site structure) and saw a rise in organic traffic within 2 months.

Only then they researched for keywords to optimize on our site which they used to improve existing ones and creating new content. After 3 months, the optimized pages are ranking between 1st-3rd pages of Google.

As mentioned, I was only in contact with their project manager, which made things simple and straightforward. He regularly provided updates about their progress with the campaign and was quick to answer my questions.

He also sent monthly reports that cover all the things done for the site and the upcoming tasks to complete for this month.

Their approach to content was simply top-notch. Not only was I getting expert SEO content advice but they're also doing it using a content tool that they own (PageOptimizer Pro).

We really needed help increasing the ranking of and also reducing the volatility of some of our main commercial keywords. Technical SEO, content, and page optimization were the main services needed.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

HV increased the overall rankings for some important keywords our most important keyword took us from page 2 to position 4, this keyword was incredibly competitive (and expensive with PPC) beating out much larger companies ranking for it.

Clear roadmap: We started off with a foundational video conference call, this was for the team to understand what we were aiming for and for us to understand what was needed from our side. This was very thorough, something I've not experienced with any other agency, which we appreciated.

Flexible: We requested fortnightly catch-up/progress sessions which they were happy to do, I believe the standard for their team was once per month.

Deliverables were always on time, there was a small handful of situations we needed to change directions slightly, and they were able to quickly meet those changes.
