What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

My experience with this agency was extremely disappointing and did not match the expectations presented during the sales process. Before I agreed to move forward, I was first charged for a professional analysis/audit of my website. After reviewing my site, the agency confirmed they could proceed with the project and presented several SEO packages for me to choose from. Based on their own evaluation and recommendations, I moved forward with a middle-tier package that was not inexpensive. One of the major reasons I agreed to hire them was because the agency represented that they would actively work on my website through ongoing SEO implementation, including content creation, blog posts, schema improvements, optimization work, backlinks, technical SEO updates, and measurable campaign execution. However, after nearly five months of engagement — during which very little verifiable work was delivered — I was then told that the website supposedly needed to be rebuilt from scratch in order for their SEO strategy to work properly. This was extremely concerning to me because: * they had already analyzed the website before selling the service, * they had already accepted the project, * they had already proposed multiple service packages, * and only months later, after little visible progress, the explanation became that the site itself was the problem. Ironically, the agency also offered to rebuild the website themselves. In addition, over the course of approximately five months, I tracked activity on my WordPress website and there were no verified logins from the agency during that period. I specifically monitor and track WordPress logins and website access activity, so this was not an assumption. Since there were no verified agency logins during the engagement, I became seriously concerned that meaningful implementation work was not actually being performed on my account. The agency strongly emphasized content creation and SEO implementation during the sales process, including blog posting and schema-related improvements. However, not a single blog post was ever delivered or published on my website during the engagement. I also repeatedly requested proof of completed work and implementation details, but no verifiable evidence of that promised content work was ever provided to me. When I repeatedly requested proof of completed work and deliverables, I was mostly referred back to a project timeline instead of being provided with clear implementation evidence tied directly to my website. Outside of limited directory-related activity, I was unable to verify meaningful SEO execution proportional to the fees charged. I did not see the level of backlink work, content production, technical implementation, or measurable progress that had originally been represented. My concerns included: * no verified WordPress logins for roughly five months, * not a single blog post delivered despite repeated promises regarding content creation, * lack of demonstrated schema implementation work, * lack of transparent proof of completed SEO execution, * minimal observable technical improvements, * inconsistent communication regarding campaign progress, * and shifting explanations throughout the engagement. After formally disputing the results and requesting supporting proof of work, the agency denied a refund request and claimed they had delivered more work than what I had paid for. However, despite repeatedly asking for proof of completed work, I was never provided with clear evidence supporting those claims. Not even a single promised blog post was delivered during the engagement. Instead of providing documentation of completed implementation work, the agency ultimately offered only to waive a remaining invoice balance. I strongly encourage other business owners to: * independently track website logins and activity, * request detailed deliverables regularly, * verify backlinks and technical changes independently, * and ensure all promised work is clearly documented in writing before signing. This review reflects my personal experience.

While traffic to the site saw a modest increase, a significant portion of the traffic was converting into viable leads so we were pleased with the results. We didn't care about how much traffic we got but really needed to have the SEO translate into revenue and High Voltage delivered in that sense.

The team at High Voltage was a pleasure to work with. They were professional, communicative, and always made sure to understand my goals before moving forward with any changes or suggestions. Their management style was straightforward, and I appreciated the regular reports and updates I received about the progress of my campaign.

Their attention to detail was impressive. I was always impressed by the level of care they took in making sure everything was perfect, from the language used in our content to the design of our website. They really went above and beyond to deliver top-notch results.

We provided technical direction for the contet since our products are very rigorously researched and we need the sales copy to reflect that. The process was very smooth and all we had to do other than provide technical direction was approve deliverables.

Performance increased immediately when the optimizations started. Traffic to the site increased a little but didn't blow us away. However, the number of leads went up fast and we were really happy with that.

The work from hihg voltage led to an increase in traffic fairly quickly and month-to-month growth was substantial. We're able to get between 100 and 150 leads per month.

Consistent communication on bi-weekly and monthly meetings was great and let us keep everything on track. We didn't need to use any tools past what we were already using before we started with them so that was a great time saver.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They're completely unfazed by challenges. We worked with one other agency before that gave us a lot of talk about how difficult our industry was and to manage our expectations. Not so with hig voltage.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not in terms of their core business. As a consultant, I would advise them to be more high-level in their assesments. I liked to see the granular detail but it might be too much for some.

It took about a month for High Voltage to give us clear instructions about the things that needed to be done on our site. They also helped us set up the SEO foundation for a new division of our company which started showing promising results within a few months of implementation.

High Voltage pointed out some technical issues with our site from the start that resulted in noticable improvements for our site traffic. The content strategy took a while to implement but once it was online, the results exceeded our expectations.

We were able to almost double the amount of keywords my site ranked for in the first few months. This was a good start in bringing in more traffic but the best part was having them reduce some of our advertising costs by taking over our retargeting campaigns.

Our site was a mess. Their team had to rebuild the structure for almost all of our pages. Right after our SEO audit they worked to restructure our site and build out our product landing pages that were properly optimized. In the first 2-3 months we we had our entire ecommerce catalog up and our site started to rank for some of our target keywords.

They were always super professional and made sure I had my questions answered. I didn't have much technical experience at all but my campaign manager spent a lot of time walking me through all of our weekly / monthly reviews.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were very skilled in the technical aspects of SEO. I'm not sure if other agencies also do as much research or testing but I was impressed with how quickly they could implement changes and show me some early results.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We were a bit behind getting started and restructuring our site but they were always transparent about our progress. I would have liked to have been creating new content from the beginning but was restricted on budget.
