We started with Phase 1, on-boarding and understanding of what the goals of the company was. From there, we went through an a very thorough Phase 2 with a discovery phase which included research and discovery with an end goal of creating a creative brief. Phase 3 included brand identity development with design, exploration, and creative refinement with two concepts presented at the end of that phase. In phase 4, we worked on brand touch points, brand implementation, and brand guidelines, which include things such as stationary (business cards, letterhead, email signature).

in the end, we were very delighted with how flexible the company was through brainstorming, incorporating our mascot logo and were presented in the end with a complete brand that included brand elements such as unique fonts, brand colours, decals, social media content as well as a company identity that has allowed us to reach a broader audience and has allowed us to work on the global stage.

The measurable outcomes that demonstrated success were brand elements that exceeded our goals, timelines met and, after working together, clear responses from our clients and fans have shown that the choice of working together for our branding needs was the right decision.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As the project is all design-based and we are still in the startup phase the demonstration of progress/success is not exactly measurable, but we have gotten excellent feedback from prospective customers about the design work. In terms of progress of the work itself, we received regular updates and were allowed several flexible revision phases for each major aspect of the projects.

Nathalie's project management was excellent. Delivery of specified elements of the projects were delivered in a timely manner and regular updates were provided about the progress. She was very flexible about responding to our needs and requests, even humouring us on some of our requested changes without complaint even when we eventually realized that her initial recommendations were correct. 

She provided several rounds of revisions for each major project, helping us to reach final results that were completely to our satisfaction.

As a design company, it was of course the design portfolio we found most impressive. This is what drew us to Hello Pop in the first place, and the results we received exceeded our expectations.

For us, it was important to find a company with similar values and that put an emphasis on partnership and shared success. It was clear from the beginning that working with Hello Pop Design was going to be very synergistic and collaborative. Their ability to listen and translate thoughts and ideas into a final product was amazing. All of these elements created an environment that was calibrated to drive success.

Hello Pop Design provided us with bespoke design services complimented with a great responsive project management practice, however, they also had a high degree of fluidity in their process which allowed us to quickly pivot when we needed to. Deliverables were always on time and the project was delivered on budget.

Hello Pop Design ability to quickly spin up a creative collaborative environment from day one was impressive. It was engaging, rewarding, and familiar from day one – like we were old friends/colleagues that had worked together for a long time. That type of rapid relationship building ability is uncommon (and unique) but was very much appreciated.

During our work with Hello Pop Design, we initiated the project by answering a questionnaire to help us create a mood board inspired by our vision and goals. Throughout this process, Hello Pop Design was able to develop three distinct visual directions. After careful consideration, we selected one direction, and Nathalie from Hello Pop Design delivered three outstanding logos and company directions, all of which exhibited exceptional quality and reflected our brand identity effectively.

Choosing among these options was a challenging task due to their high-quality brand identity. Following this, we engaged in a collaborative effort to design our business cards and website. This process was notably smoother because we had a well-defined and robust brand identity in place. Even to this day, we can easily distinguish ourselves on social media by adhering to the brand guidelines provided by Nathalie.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

After sharing the backstory behind my logo with Nathalie — which was more intricate and meaningful than a typical logo design — she not only agreed to work with me on recreating it, but also took a genuine interest in understanding the vision behind it. She wanted to learn more about why I wanted the logo designed a certain way, where I planned to use it, and the overall aesthetic I was trying to achieve. Prior to working with Nathalie, I had been turned away by other designers who felt that a logo this detailed would not translate well based on their experience and professional opinions.

While I respected their expertise, I knew the direction I wanted to take and hoped to find someone who was willing to bring that vision to life. Nathalie did exactly that. She captured every detail beautifully, remained open and collaborative throughout the process, and ultimately created a logo that exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t be happier with the final result. If I ever need additional design work in the future, Nathalie will be the first person I contact.
