Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

He built us a WooCommerce store from the ground up, starting with a deep dive into our business, brand, and goals before writing a line of code. The scope covered the full ecommerce stack — site design and build, plugin integrations for pushing data back and forth, API connections, DNS settings, domain and hosting setup. Beyond the initial build, he provided ongoing support for six years, including regular updates and last-minute changes whenever we needed them

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The store scaled from a small early-stage operation to supporting hundreds of orders during major promotional periods, including very high sales volume compressed into only a few days.

Conversion opportunities improved through ongoing UX enhancements, upsells, cross-sells, customer reviews, improved email experiences, and a more polished shopping journey.

The platform remained in active use and was supported for several years, continuing to scale with the business rather than requiring a replacement as order volume, functionality, and operational complexity increased.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Project management was excellent throughout. He consistently delivered on time and didn’t stop until the job was truly finished, including handling last-minute changes without complaint. Communication was always responsive — whenever we needed support, big or small, he was there. Over six years of working together, we never had a single issue with how he managed the process or responded to our needs.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

His depth of technical knowledge really sets him apart — not just building the site itself, but everything around it: plugins, APIs, DNS, domain and hosting, and the wider ecommerce ecosystem. He also has strong industry connections and takes the time to genuinely understand your business and brand before building anything, which makes the whole process feel effortless and tailored rather than generic.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Hello Fascination could have done differently?

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

The scope of work was extensive and covered a complete rebuild of our public website and supporting platforms.

Dylan led a full redesign and redevelopment of our WordPress website, including a complete overhaul of our WooCommerce environment. This involved re-architecting the site structure, improving performance and security, refining the user experience, and ensuring the platform could scale as our product offering grows. The end result is a faster, cleaner, and far more robust website that better reflects our brand and supports our commercial goals.

Beyond the public site, Dylan also designed and built a custom account management portal for our clients. This portal provides secure access to account information, subscriptions, and related resources, and integrates seamlessly with our broader web ecosystem. In addition, he developed a dedicated Learning Centre, giving clients a structured, easy-to-navigate space to access training content, documentation, and supporting materials.

Key deliverables included:

Full website rebuild on WordPress, including UX and performance improvements

A rebuilt and optimised WooCommerce environment

A custom client account management portal

A fully integrated Learning Centre

Ongoing technical guidance, problem-solving, and post-launch support

From a working relationship perspective, Dylan was excellent throughout the project. He is approachable, proactive, and genuinely engaged in the success of the work. He communicated clearly, anticipated issues before they became problems, and offered practical recommendations rather than simply executing tasks. He was also flexible and responsive as requirements evolved, which was critical given the complexity of the build.

Overall, this was not just a development engagement, but a true partnership. Dylan’s technical capability, combined with his professionalism and collaborative approach, made him a pleasure to work with and a trusted extension of our team.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project delivered measurable improvements across performance, stability, usability, and operational efficiency.

From a technical perspective, the rebuilt website and WooCommerce environment are significantly faster, more stable, and more secure than the previous platform. Page load times were materially reduced, errors and downtime issues were eliminated, and the overall reliability of the site improved, which has had a direct impact on user experience and internal confidence in the platform.

From a commercial and operational standpoint, the new WooCommerce setup provides far better control over products, subscriptions, and customer management. Processes that were previously manual or fragmented are now streamlined, reducing administrative overhead and lowering the risk of errors.

The introduction of the custom account management portal has been a major step forward. Clients now have a single, secure place to manage their accounts and access relevant information, which has reduced inbound support queries and improved self-service. Similarly, the Learning Centre has improved how we onboard and support clients by centralising training materials and documentation in a structured, easy-to-use environment.

Key outcomes include:

Faster site performance and improved platform stability

A more scalable and maintainable WooCommerce environment

Reduced internal administration and support effort

Improved client self-service through the account portal

A clearer, more professional digital experience aligned to our brand

While some benefits will continue to compound over time, the project has already delivered clear progress in terms of platform reliability, efficiency, and customer experience, providing a much stronger foundation for future growth.
