Helion Technologies provides all our cybersecurity needs. They supply all our training, handle our hardware and software needs, manage our firewall and other security programming, monitor our system 24/7, and coordinate with our suppliers and partners to ensure system integrity.

Someone referred Helion Technologies to us, and we chose them because their expertise was specific to our business.

We started working together in October 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve learned what our actual needs are, beginning with filling out our insurance application correctly. Helion Technologies has also established a proper training regimen for our organization. Thanks to the training and monitoring, we haven’t had an incident since the beginning of our relationship. For example, we were locked out of our business network when our supplier was hacked and held for ransom, but our system wasn’t infected.

Moreover, our training completion rate is 100%, and we haven’t experienced any security breaches. We’re also 100% compliant with FTC regulations, so our partners are satisfied with our improved security posture.

How did Helion Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve managed all our projects professionally and delivered on time. We communicate via virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We deal with two main partners: the software company we use for our business systems and an international automotive manufacturer. All three of us have specific security needs, and Helion Technologies helps us manage both relationships’ security needs to meet our partners’ requirements while protecting ours.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Helion Technologies is the only cybersecurity company I’ve worked with, so I’m not an expert in the field to judge what they could do differently. Whenever we’ve had an issue or looked to bring in new technology, they’ve given us good advice and helped us get our desired results.

We needed help with managed IT services, a DMS transition from CDK to Tekion, a new phone system implementation to GoTo Phones, and cybersecurity protection. We also needed to have the most up-to-date industry knowledge and expertise through a team of experts.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Helion Technologies changed our network from a CDK-managed system to one they manage completely at two of our dealerships, and third-party vendor administration, including the DMS. We then signed with Tekion, and they managed the entire process of switching everything from CDK to Tekion. This includes hardware installation, phone system setup and training, IT closet cleanup, and changeout from old equipment to new equipment.

We’ve worked with up to 10+ members of Helion Technologies’ team.

Design and manage GoTo VOIP Phone System. Helion setup the entire system, created the call flow per out requests, ordered and had delivered all needed equipment and was onsite for a few days when the system went live to train employees and to install the phones. Helion has managed the same system for several years.

System has been up and running for several years now with very little downtime and Helion is alwys there when an issue would arise and they would remedy the issue quickly.
