I’m the technical and operations director of Optimax IIM Ltd. We provide advanced optical inspection and non-contact metrology solutions to a wide range of industries and sectors, including aerospace, medical, automotive, and motorsport.

What challenge were you trying to address with The HBP Group?

We needed help removing our on-premise server and transferring everything to a cloud-based Microsoft 365 system.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The HBP Group has helped us purchase Microsoft 365 licenses, enroll all our devices into the new cloud system, and update our security. The team has also transferred files from our server to the cloud and set up SharePoint and OneDrive.

We’ve worked with 2–5 members of The HBP Group’s team.

The HBP Group has successfully removed our on-site server. The team’s work has had a positive impact on our company because everyone benefits from improved file access regardless of location.

We wanted to upgrade our IT services, ensuring they were easy to use for staff and secure, given that we work with survivors.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The HBP Group provided IT services for us. They handled the full installation and configuration of our new IT system. The team also set up staff devices, purchased Microsoft licenses, and provided staff support.

We worked together from August–September 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Working with The HBP Group delivered measurable improvements across deployment speed, security, and user experience. We also saw improvements in efficient onboarding, secure IT systems, quality of service and support, and reliability and performance. Staff were able to get set up within a few hours. The HBP Group's staff member supported us face-to-face with this.

How did The HBP Group perform from a project management standpoint?

The HBP Group delivered on time and as expected. We had in-person meetings.

The HBP Group's quick turnaround when dealing with specific issues was impressive.
