What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Hbit Technology successfully completed a pilot with our client, MTN Mobile Money. The pilot phase was run for two months with a total of 8,000+ test transactions of mobile money and crypto from the ATM desktop applications. We also made considerable improvements and modifications to upgrade the user experience. For example, the system was able to recognize and identify repeat customers, which increased the speed. We also removed unwanted flows to improve the customer journey and built an additional dashboard to monitor ATMs around the country.

The deliverables included designing a robust RESTful API framework capable of handling high-frequency data requests, user session tracking, secure token-based authentication, and adaptive testing flows. They also built in real-time analytics endpoints for our clients to monitor candidate progress, and internal webhook integrations that notified our CRM and support systems automatically of key user milestones.

Since implementing the new API system built by Hbit Technology, the change has been noticeable across multiple fronts. Our integration partners now report faster implementation cycles and fewer technical escalations. Internally, we’ve seen a significant reduction in system bottlenecks during peak usage times, which used to be a pain point during bulk assessments or large-scale onboarding drives.

Perhaps the most telling outcome is how our recruitment automation has evolved what used to be a fragmented workflow is now a streamlined, intelligent process. The system handles assessment logic, scoring, reporting, and candidate communication with very little human intervention, yet with high accuracy and reliability.

Project management-wise, I was impressed by how proactively they ran things. Communication was clear and never felt rushed; they made space for discussion and always backed their decisions with thoughtful reasoning.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Hbit Technology could have done differently?

If I had to suggest an area for improvement, I’d say their onboarding process could be more tailored to the client’s technical maturity. While we appreciated the thoroughness, the early weeks were quite technical for our non-developer stakeholders. A lighter, business-facing version of the onboarding might help future clients align more quickly on vision and scope.

But overall, our experience was deeply positive, and I would absolutely recommend Hbit Technology to any organization looking for thoughtful, high-quality API development with an eye for product stability and growth.

Overall, Hbit Technology delivered strong results and was a reliable partner. That said, one area for improvement would be more proactive documentation and progress tracking. While verbal updates and meetings were effective, having clearer written documentation would have enhanced transparencyespecially as the project scaled and multiple features were developed in parallel.

Additionally, as we approached key demo deadlines, stronger QA/testing cycles earlier in the sprint could have helped reduce last-minute fixes. However, the team was highly responsive when these issues were flagged and always ensured critical deliverables were met.

These are minor refinements in an otherwise highly productive collaboration.

User Adoption was great. We have over 4000 downloads so far and weekly active users exceed 500. Persons are also opting to top up in app which accounts for 30% of sales. Click through rate in marketing notifications is above 20%. From a staff perspective we save about 10+ hours alone due to payment automation .

If I had to point to an area for improvement, it would be around pre-implementation mockups. While the technical documentation was strong, visual diagrams or flowcharts showing API interactions ahead of development could have helped less technical stakeholders engage earlier and provide feedback. That said, once we raised this, Hbit responded quickly by generating architectural visuals that clarified the system beautifully. Their willingness to adapt was, again, a strong suit.
