I’m the CEO of Customer Experience Professionals Association, a global nonprofit that supports and advances the customer experience profession through education, standards, and the Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP) credential.

What challenge were you trying to address with Harrier LLC?

We hired Harrier LLC to serve as COO/CTO during a project to replace our association's technology stack, including AMS, CMS, online community, and email marketing platform. We needed a provider that could work equally well with internal staff and external vendors to achieve these goals.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Harrier LLC provided 40 hours of support per month for approximately one year. During that time, Harrier LLC met with staff and vendors; conducted external research; presented alternatives for selection; managed the project to keep it on track, on time and on budget; and served as a valuable sounding board on all issues. The team was directly involved in identifying, comparing, recommending, supporting contracting, and implementing all aspects of this project. The support ranged from advisory to technical.

We worked with 2–5 teammates from Harrier LLC.

How did you come to work with Harrier LLC?

We connected with Harrier LLC through ASAE. We chose them because their pricing fit our budget, they had a great culture fit, they offered good value for the cost, and they had proven experience helping on similar projects.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from August 2024–October 2025.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The project was completed on time and on budget to positive reception by our users. One example of the success is an increase in web traffic, up to three times higher on some metrics, including session duration.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Brian, the founder of Harrier LLC, had great insight into the needs of small staff associations, which was tremendously helpful for this project. He had a strong network of peers that could assist when needed and regularly researched emerging trends to ensure that we were preparing for the future.
