What really stood out was how they managed to create two seamless shopping experiences in parallel: one for our LED and microcurrent devices, and another for our skincare products. Both felt distinct yet unified under one brand system.

They also developed an onboarding flow that included a personalized skin routine builder. It’s now one of the most-used features on the site. Users answer a few questions and get a routine mapped out for them, combining devices and products that actually work together. The interface feels helpful, not pushy, and the recommendations have had a measurable impact on our average order value.

The product detail pages were another big success. Habitat designed them to be modular, with space for ingredient breakdowns, tech specs, application tips, and even user-generated content. The dashboard, the database, the core task flows - it all came together with a clear sense of logic and hierarchy. And even the little things, like tooltip copy or empty states, felt like they were written by someone who had actually used an HR tool before. That level of thoughtfulness is rare.

Habitat helped us define user roles, map out key flows for shopping, selling, and investing, and rethink how our client users would move through the platform. They guided us and our client through everything from user journeys to interface structure, and honestly, just helped us make sense of what could have been a very chaotic product experience.

The UI design was exactly what we were hoping for — clean, trustworthy, and highly functional. They nailed the balance between clarity and sophistication. One feature client users especially love is the dark/light theme toggle, which was thoughtfully built into the system from the beginning. The motion work also brought the product to life in a subtle but impactful way. Nothing was overdone, but just enough animation to feel dynamic and polished.

We also had some stock-based 3D animation assets we wanted to reuse, and they managed to optimize and rework those in a way that made them feel custom, lightweight, and perfectly on-brand. The result is a web app that feels high-end, credible, and completely user-friendly.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The feedback we’ve had from the testing group so far has been incredibly encouraging. Users have commented on how easy it is to compare products, understand certifications, and make confident investment decisions — something that’s not often said about metals trading.

The scope was big: the chatbot needed to manage product questions, order tracking, returns, and handoff to human agents when needed, plus we needed a dashboard for our support team and a scalable design system to support growth.

Habitat started by digging into our client support tickets to find the high-volume use cases and then helped us map conversation flows that felt natural but also efficient. They designed a conversational UI that worked across key pages like product, cart, and account, and made sure it looked and sounded like us. The bot responses were helpful but never robotic, and the fallback flows didn’t just dump users. There was logic for recovery and human handoff, which gave us a lot of confidence. The widget itself was lightweight and easy to embed, and it never got in the way of the shopping experience, which was a big win for us.

On the back end, Habitat designed a clean dashboard for the client team to monitor conversations, view sentiment and confidence scores, and flag areas where the bot needed refining. This gave the client support team more visibility and control than we had before, and it’s become a really valuable tool. The design system they handed over was also excellent: clear, well-documented, and scalable. Client developers had zero issues working with it

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since testing and launching, the bot is resolving the majority of incoming customer questions somewhere around 65% without any human support. Our client team has been able to focus on more complex issues, and the overall customer experience has improved. They’ve even used the chatbot in conversations with partners to demonstrate how we’re scaling support without scaling headcount, which says a lot.

The bot feels native. The interface, the logic, the tone… everything just fits. We’d absolutely recommend them to anyone who’s looking for a thoughtful, strategic design partner.

One of the things we really appreciated was how proactive and on top of things the Habitat team was. They stayed on track, hit every deadline, and were always a few steps ahead in terms of thinking through edge cases. Their handoff was smooth, the design files were clean and logical.
