Then they provided an audit of my Google ads account. Thanks to the strategy pivot we made directly as a result of that review, our online sales are up 301%.

What seems like their business model is brilliant: teach people what they need to know to generate results with Google ads for free. For those savvy enough to take that first step, provide a reasonably priced subscription service to get more in-depth and provide more direct input and feedback. Once the businesses scale to the level where they can no longer handle their Google ads account in-house, and stay on top of the constant changes from Google, they hire the agency that has earned their trust and helped to get them to that point. I never felt like I was being sold.
