I am an IT project Manager of an IT Infrastructure Consulting and Education Centre firm.

For what projects/services did your company hire Greenformatics Solutions Ltd., and what were your goals?

Besides our IT Consulting services, we provide our clients with courses. We want to extend this service line in the future, so we needed a website to showcase our courses, so customers can browse them and register. Greenformatics helped us to design the layout of the website and develop it.

We contacted several software development agencies and had initial conversations with them. Greenformatics was outstanding because of its enthusiastic attitude and commitment. They listened to our needs and gave fantastic ideas that eventually improved the final product.

We had a kick-off meeting to discuss our goals and objectives. From there, the team delivered mock-ups and wireframes for our site. After a few iterations, their team designed and developed the site. Finally, they helped us to deploy the site.

A project manager was our main point of contact throughout the process, and she had a senior project manager helping her. There were also two full-stack developers, a solution architect and a designer working.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Everyone loved the site prepared by Greenformatics. The stakeholders were amused.

We had weekly meetings with their project manager, who communicated with the rest of the team. If there were any delays, they let us know ahead of time so that we could prepare. We also organized ad-hoc meetings on short notice if the development/design team had issues.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I had never worked with a team that could solve any problem or issue so quickly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I got the feeling that they are very keen to please the customer, so they are too easy on change requests. This is beneficial as a customer, but sometimes I felt I was asking too much.

There were three phases of the program. In phase 1 and 2 Greenformatics delivered the technical design of the data movement and supported data mapping and data extraction. In phase 3 the data movement, the data quality management and the data mapping was designed, implemented and technically led by the data engineers of Greenformatics.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• The pass criteria was at least 99.9% migrated objects (customers, services, invoices, inventory etc.) without major issues. 
• 95% of the objects had to be migrated without any minor data error. 
• The data migration had to be finished in 24 hours.

We were the main contractors, Greenformatics was our subcontractor. Our company has created the UX design for the streaming platform and the business requirement specification. Based on these inputs, Greenformatics was delivering the software in agile methodology. Before going live with the platform, a UAT was performed involving the client and us.
