I’m the CEO of SAVVI Limited, a mobile application development company.

What challenge were you trying to address with goMad Infotech?

We hired goMad Infotech to supply frontend developers to work with our in-house backend development team on an iOS and Android application. We needed teammates with specific experience working with ordering platforms.

What was the scope of their involvement?

goMad Infotech provides frontend developers for our project. They work to understand and analyze the nuances within our system regarding reliability and scalability. Their team supports our development, strengthening the architecture and ensuring the right technologies are being applied. 

What is the team composition?

There are four people who predominantly work with us on a daily basis, including the Android lead and iOS lead. Sameer (CEO, goMad Infotech) is our main point of contact for the commercial side of the project. 

How did you come to work with goMad Infotech?

I had an experience with Sameer before when he was a freelancer, and he was incredibly competent. We already had an element of trust and I knew he excelled in setting up his own business, so I chose them for the project. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $80,000–$100,000 so far. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since August 2018 and anticipate working together for a few more years. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Since we’re relatively small, we don’t track metrics as much. However, we have very detailed milestones, deliverables, and quarterly reviews. For all of those, they’ve always met our requirements. They continually hit our goals each month. Both our internal team and clients have been impressed with their work. Although there are expected bugs, they fix everything very quickly and produce high-quality work. 

How did goMad Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?

During our monthly meetings, we set our goals and objectives. We also have daily scrum meetings to ensure everything is very clear for both teams. Anytime an issue or bug arises, they quickly resolve them. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They continually put in extra hours to exceed our expectations and meet deadlines. They’re committed and dedicated—they put a lot of passion into making sure the work is strong. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes, they forget to send us daily summaries of the tasks they’ve completed. We have to occasionally remind them, but it’s just an operational need. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Firstly, don’t hesitate in using this team. Make sure your requirements and documentation are clear to avoid mistakes. The more clarity you provide the better their work will be.
