I’m the CEO of a dental support organization that manages and runs independent dental offices.

What challenge were you trying to address with GlobalVox?

GlobalVox helps us build out our website platform for each of our locations.

What was the scope of their involvement? 

Their team builds and runs our Laravel-based websites for our dental offices. These platforms are how we manage our blogs and online forms so that they can be uploaded into our software. That includes booking forms, membership plan forms, and patient health forms. The software also allows me to add other pages, which has been helpful.

Besides web development, they do all of our SEO optimizations for Google, too. We’ve worked closely with them on keyword research as well as long-tail systematic indexing (LSI). They’ve done the schema mark-up and structured our blogs for SEO, too.

I’ve worked with five people.

How did you come to work with GlobalVox?

I knew of GlobalVox through our mutual contacts and chose them for a combination of reasons. Not only was GlobalVox was good at customizing solutions, but they were also responsive to my needs. I felt that if I were to keep changing and customizing elements, they’d still help us. They’d go the extra mile without quibbling, even if we were to go over schedule. In contrast, other IT companies might say that the ask was outside of the scope of work or reevaluate the project and cut a component.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $12,000–$15,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started back in January 2016 and are still working together.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

In my perspective, GlobalVox has been highly instrumental in getting things done — their ability to deliver is unreal. The websites themselves are proof of our success. The team’s UI design and site speed optimization have helped us manage our bounce rate effectively, and our sites rank in the top two search positions on Google and Bing in each of our local markets. As a result, our business has actually quadrupled thanks to that lead generation.

How did GlobalVox perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re great. The team usually estimates a time range of when they’ll be done with a project, and they stick to it. If we were to do a project sprint, they’d finish in about 2–3 months. We communicate via email, Slack, and Whatsapp. The latter allows for direct communication with their developers.

What did you find most impressive about them?

One big aspect is their perseverance. If something doesn’t work out, they continue looking for the right solution to make sure the project is perfect. I’ll also reiterate that they don’t quibble over the project if we go over our timeline. GlobalVox honors their contracts and never goes back on their word.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It’d be good if they had a dedicated sales rep. They’ve assigned a project manager to my projects, but he’s also the one who does the development work. I guess that’s how they keep the costs low. Then again, if they hire a separate sales rep and the costs go up, then it probably wouldn’t be as economical as it is now.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you’re looking to build a project and have a team that can help them deliver, they can definitely give you the right results. You’ll have to come up with the requirements of what they need to deliver on, but they’re great at helping you determine the right technology stack, sticking to the most optimal time, and being cost-efficient in reaching your goals.

In general, GlobalVox is reasonable, and you should go with them. They’re good people. I haven’t met anyone there who isn’t. I’ll probably never consider changing my IT company.

I’m the managing director at WaterQuest HydroResources, an AI/ML-driven technology company focused on hydrogeology and the water sector. We work with governments, large industries, agricultural firms, and foundations, among others. We provide the information on where water is.

What challenge were you trying to address with GlobalVox?

We have our own hardware team but we needed someone technically proficient in the IoT and machine learning part of our product. We needed help developing the whole backend and frontend software and connecting our sensors, so we brought on GlobalVox.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Any real-time monitoring system requires data to be scanned on a fairly consistent basis across different communication protocols, time zones, and geotags. All of that data is integrated and put into multiple sensors to enable the analog to be converted into digital. The digital is stretched and transmitted into the backend software, which is then pushed onto the cloud and various server configurations for our frontend. 

GlobalVox provided full stack development for our product which does real-time monitoring of water quality and quantity. My team designed and developed a sensor as well as the integration unit, while Globalvox provided end-to-end support on the software for both the front- and backend. 

Our business model allows customers to buy the hardware and get the software integration attached to it so they can buy any number of units. They get access to the dashboard as well, which GlobalVox also developed. 

We primarily used opensource technologies. 

What is the team composition?

We get a lot of input from their co-founder. He has the whole team at his disposal. I was personally interacting with him while our team was engaging with a few people from their side as well.

How did you come to work with GlobalVox?

GlobalVox was recommended by someone who had worked with them before. We had a Zoom meeting that was very productive, so we decided to move forward.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2020. The project took close to six months but they continue to help us to this day.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re very happy with what GlobalVox has come up with. We’ve received more than we asked for and they were able to deliver ahead of the time projected. Their team is very accommodating. 

They also bring in good domain expertise and have a good understanding of IoT systems and what technologies are needed. Our relationship is very consultative wherein GlobalVox would give us really helpful suggestions. They go above and beyond the scope to add value.

How did GlobalVox perform from a project management standpoint?

The project manager on my side tracks all activities with a project management tool.

What did you find most impressive about them?

GlobalVox is a very good fit for a lot of early-stage and middle-size companies. They bring in decent skills and their senior resources have adaptability and engagement, which I love. They’ve surpassed the level of trust we put in them. 

The execution of the project has been very good, too. They’re timely and transparent about what they could do.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. We’re more than satisfied with what they delivered. They’ve surpassed what we’ve asked of them.

I’m the CEO & co-founder of a mobile application security system. We work with a lot of global enterprises and offer cybersecurity services.

We needed to revamp our website and one of our customers needed technical support. SInce we do not have internal expertise on this, we are working with GlobalVox.

What was the scope of their involvement?

GlobalVox has helped us fix a lot of technical glitches in our HubSpot website. They’ve also helped build new landing pages. We are continuously planning out the stages of the engagement as there are several projects the team is helping us with.

We’ve been interacting with 4–5 members that include the project manager and developers.

We were looking for service providers online. GlobalVox was one of the very few companies that had expertise in HubSpot, so we decided to work with them.

We started this ongoing engagement in June 2020.

I’ve been impressed with the quality of the work that we’ve been getting from GlobalVox. I would rate their services highly as they always deliver on their promises on time. Their output meets our expectations, so there is no issue with that at all.

I am not heavily involved in the project management process, but I believe they are using some tools with my internal team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

GlobalVox has a strong understanding and execution of what we require. They ensure that there are elements in place that align with our global business, which is outstanding.

We were initially struggling with the new UX design projects, but the team has been great with everything else.

GlobalVox is really professional, so if you’re looking for an extension of your technical team they would make a good partner.

Their UX/UI work was strong. I’m happy with the site they produced for us.

They completed the work in the timeline they committed to. We used Zoho to manage the project. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were happy with the quality of work they delivered. Their customer approach was quite impressive, too. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could lower their costs to save their customers more money.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

We were pretty clear on our requirements. If you’re not clear about your requirements, you’ll end up having to do different change requests. Give them all your requirements right away.
