I’m the founder and CEO of a UX agency. We work with UX/UI startups and web and mobile applications.

What challenge were you trying to address with Global Growth?

We hired Global Growth for assistance with our marketing strategy since we don’t employ one in-house. We wanted to increase company sales.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Global Growth researches the language of the markets in Silicon Valley and Francisco. We needed to know how to work with the designers in that area and how to increase visual brand identity for our company and clients. Their team performs market research regarding those fields.

We first discussed our market position and company vision. Global Growth then prepared a strategy and vision for us moving forward. They’ve set up tools for marketing activities through HubSpot, Facebook, Clutch, and Instagram. We’ve tested ads for Google, Instagram, and Facebook.

We’re now working together to create new options for our marketing strategy this year. We plan on launching new landing pages for some of our resources and rewriting all the content on the website and social media posts. Our focus is currently on paid ads to garner more traffic from potential clients in San Francisco and the Silicon Valley. We have plans to post more on social media as well.

I’ve worked with Alex (CEO, Global Growth), a social media marketer, a project manager, and someone who was in charge of our tools.

How did you come to work with Global Growth?

We saw Global Growth at a conference and heard colleagues speak about them. Alex previously worked with some of our US startups. He is knowledgeable about the US and UK markets.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Global Growth in June 2018, and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The speed of growth is progressing smoothly. I’m delighted with their work.

How did Global Growth perform from a project management standpoint?

Global Growth delivers results quickly. Their team gives feedback on Monday mornings and will produce answers by the end of the week. We’re essentially on the same page with our tasks and expectations. Trello and Slack are the tools we use for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team is skilled in strategy and marketing services. I advise anyone with a growing business to work with Global Growth on sales and online brand presence.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are none that I can think of at this time.

Global Growth is an excellent team that wants to work with ambitious clients and companies. They’re smart and talented people who want their clients to grow. Global Growth’s a sharp and small agency perfectly suited for design companies and startups.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the CEO of Robarin, a Ruby on Rails software development company with 30 employees and a global client base.

For what projects/services did your company hire Global Growth?

We were looking to expand our business and improve lead generation. We had contemplated hiring in-house specialists, but chose Global Growth as marketing and business consulting partners immediately upon introduction. 

What were your goals for this project?

Our primary goal was to establish a marketing strategy with a clear set of actions and recommendations in order to build a stronger presence in the U.S. market and generate new opportunities.

How did you select this vendor?

I was responsible for finding an agency that would be able to create an effective marketing strategy within our budget. After several initial calls with various agencies, we were unsatisfied with their lack of experience in international marketing. Global Growth, however, provided case studies and examples of marketing strategies for entering foreign markets.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Shortly after deciding upon Global Growth, we were contacted by an account manager who easily answered all of our financial and legal questions. After a series of discovery calls with the project manager, we decided to divide the marketing strategy into six separate phases: market analysis, customer segmentation, positioning, website strategy, email marketing strategy, and initial promotional campaign. Deadlines were established and work began. At the completion of each task, the project manager provided feedback and results; all documents were understandable, professional, and articulate. We were more than satisfied with the scope of work and final results.

What was the team composition?

Although we worked solely with a project manager, who supported us during every phase of the project, the team also included a digital marketing strategist, an email marketing specialist, and a content writer.  

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The detail and clarity of the marketing strategy enabled us to hire the specialists necessary for implementation. We are currently in the midst of a website redesign and have already begun employing the promotion strategies. We have enjoyed a 150% jump in overall traffic without increasing our marketing budget, while the quality of leads generated has received positive feedback from our sales department. 

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication was excellent. We held weekly calls with the project manager via Google Hangouts and used Slack or Telegram for daily communication. We experienced no miscommunication, misunderstandings, or delays in response.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was amazed by how easily Global Growth managed a project as complicated as ours. The entire scope of work was determined within our first two phone calls and there were no delays in delivery. We were also impressed by their expertise. Finding international marketing experts with such a deep understanding of the industry was difficult, but we found that expertise with Global Growth.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There is nothing I can identify. Everything in terms of deadlines, scope and quality of work, budgets, and legal terms was just perfect.
