We work with Ginkgo as a leading team, fully organic within our organization, for our key products on our platform. We give them the hardest and most complicated tasks and projects and they develop them at the highest quality, time to market and with the highest dedication, commitment and communication with all teams in the company.

Ginkgo provide us any task or project, and even the most complicated ones, at the highest quality, always before deadlines. We give them the most complex challenges and they have the capacity, ability and passion to them and deliver them at a quality beyond my expectations.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have no fear - from any project or task - no matter how complicated it is. Their quality of delivery and speed of delivery is something that I haven't seen in other vendors, and we worked with a lot as a startup.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Ginko Ukraine could have done differently?

I wish they had more people - as we have more tasks for them - especially in the DevOps space - we are working with them on that.

I am the Developer Relations Manger at Thoughtful. Our intelligent bots supercharge our client's operations by automating end-to-end processes using your existing systems. A smart bot is a software robot that is built on the Thoughtful cloud-based developer platform.

We hired python engineers from Ginkgo Ukraine to build our client's smart bots. The goal is to automate our customer's most mundane process across industries.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Ginkgo Ukraine provided quality python engineering candidates in a timely manner. Thoughtful had a high demand for engineers and Ginkgo Ukraine met our needs.

Our contractors build RPA bots using Python, API, ML, and OCR technologies. The developers are responsible for the build, test, and support phases of the development life cycle, as well as, engineering the bot to be built as efficiently as possible.

We hired two contractors who were both python engineers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Ginkgo Ukraine's engineers that we contracted with delivered 7 smart bots in the last year. Each bot was delivered with in the project timeline and matched our coding standards. In addition to the quantitative value, the engineers were proactive and jump into any problem that needed to be solved.

Ginkgo Ukraine's engineers were able to delivery their smart bots on time, as well as, escalate issues when required to expedite a solution and keep the project on time.

I'm a founder and CEO of New Normal, a software service agency. We specialize in custom web and mobile applications for mid to large size enterprises.

We had a client and a need to develop a backend system for a mobile application using Python. So Ginkgo Ukraine has staffed a team of a few Python engineers to assist.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The collaboration started with a small project around 2 years ago. We’ve worked with them on a few other projects. The team was extremely competent and responsive, which gave us initial confidence to use them for our projects.

The project consists of 2 sides: IOS and Python backend that supports it. The backend side has an admin dashboard, stores different reports, and creates analytics notifications for the admin team(email). The idea of the dashboard is to log the progress of the contractors.

We a backend developer and a solutions architect work on the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Success! The system was delivered on time so we, as a client, are happy with the results. Our end client was able to increase their revenue several percent by implementing curbside pickup functionality during the pandemic.

The workflow was perfect. Our manager had weekly meetings with the team. The manager assigned tasks in Asana. Their CEO, Andrew M. was also involved and consulted on how to do better.

Their broad competence and responsiveness during the process were the most impressive.

They do their job really well and fast! Wish you luck and keep it up.

I’m the CEO of SoftGeneral software development company. We are an outstaffing partner helping tech companies with experienced and well-knit Node.js, React.js, and Blockchain teams.

We had an existing project (backend system) and needed developers to connect a few other 3rd party systems. Ginkgo Ukraine staffed a team of 2 Python engineers to assist.

How did you select this agency and what were the deciding factors?

We’ve found them by the feedback from their client as actually our project was related to E-Commerce with some part of dropshipping. Our focus was also on Python language.

The project was done partially, but we felt that we still need a few Python developers with a vast experience in Python and E-Commerce. So once we found the Ginkgo Ukraine company, after a few calls they provided us with 2 developers.

The process was pretty quick. After we described our needs and listed all “must have” requirements for the developers, in a few weeks we started interviews and selected 2 developers.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

Definitely success and progress! The developers were well qualified and with a good understanding of eCommerce. So we finished on time!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was really good. The developers joined the team easily. The communication was in Slack and each morning 30 mins Zoom call. They were managed by our project manager. Understood the task and gave their suggestions. We also had a few calls with the CEO Andrew just to check if the team is happy and if the working circumstances are good for them.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They did their job on the highest level. They were fully involved in the project and all their ideas from them were implemented. We felt they were a part of our team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Ginkgo Ukraine is a flexible team that adapts well to its client’s processes. Nothing else to add.

I’m the owner of an online e-commerce company. For the last two years, we've been doing online e-commerce, mainly selling on Amazon and other platforms like eBay.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ginkgo Ukraine?

We needed help with software solutions for our business. We were dealing with many vendors, and we needed to ensure that the pricing, communication, logistics, and order tracking processes were functioning.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ginkgo Ukraine created a software solution for us from scratch using Django. Initially, they developed the interface, the product's backend, and they worked with my internal team to see what could be done. They also provided suggestions on what could be done and done based on our competition.

What is the team composition?

We've been working with 5–6 members of their team.

How did you come to work with Ginkgo Ukraine?

I found them on Upwork. I hired two other vendors, but Andrew (CEO) was the hardest worker; he understood what was needed, was consistent, and was very loyal.

How much have you invested in them?

We've spent around $200,000 with them so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing collaboration started in January 2018, and it's still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Thanks to their product, it's now easy to track orders and inventory. Also, it has improved the spending on our processes. They did a really good job, and they kept their promises. I was always worried about how they would get up to speed on what we were doing, but they didn’t let me worry about it too much — Andrew was a smart and consistent partner who always made sure to work on our side.

How did Ginkgo Ukraine perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very good at project management. They work on the weekends and have their phone lines available to us all the time. They remembered what they needed to do, and they followed up with us. Their team also has the ability to self-manage themselves throughout the project. In terms of communication, we use Skype.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They're loyal, and they do their job well. They also make everything easier for them and us, which makes them reliable — it's hard to find a partner like them.

I don't think there's anything they can improve on — they adapt and learn new skills to take upon the project's challenges.

Give them specific metrics and let them work so they can achieve them.
