The to-do list is ongoing and split between several areas of CompareHealth's platform:
For the new direct-to-Canadian website:

1. The front-end website: This includes a new front-end website that's clean, easy to navigate, mobile responsive and engaging for users. The design elements inspiration came from ideas shared from Gilteq.
2. The quote and comparison platform: This includes a simplified questionnaire, a new output design with 'cards' for each plans, a sorting feature, an easy process to connect with an insurance provider and detailed email automations.

For the existing advisor portal:

1. The quote and comparison platform: Changing list views and refining database efficiency (quote speed).

Scope of Works were provided ahead of any work started.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Gilteq is the third development company I've worked with, and the experience has been fantastic from the start.

Work is done:

With minimal to no bugs: One of the key metrics I use is ensuring new, completed work is done with minimal to no 'bugs' or future refinements. I test each to-do list point and rarely have any additional follow-ups or changes. 

Quickly and efficiently: Tasks are done on schedule.

With clear communication of timelines

With great feedback from others: I've been sharing the changes with existing users and the overall response is positive!

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Questions are answered quickly. It's nice to be in the same geographical location as the team. 

The majority of the tasks are done on time. If anything goes 'overtime,' this is because I added additional requirements to the related task.

I am confident and trust the work that is done.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Gilteq's team shares my vision of changing how Canadians compare health insurance. Having a team that understands my 'why' has been integral to my startup journey. Seeing their work so far, especially related to UX/UI design, has been amazing! They've provided some excellent suggestions and have been able to implement some complex tasks quickly and efficiently.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Gilteq could have done differently?

None. I highly recommend Gilteq.

We had the pleasure to work with Gilteq on two small-scoped yet low-level library development projects over the span of two months. They are hard-working, deligent and produces decent results in a timely manner, and quick to learn and adapt to our coding standards.

The projects were in C# and involves making use of low-level graphics API for custom drawing purposes and parsing HTML file structures.

I was impressed by the company's responsiveness and clarity in communication. They provided precise summaries on our communication, regular updates on the progress and responds quickly to our feedback, ensuring a productive development process despite the part-time nature of the role.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Gilteq could have done differently?

Gilteq did a great job in terms of communication, responsiveness, and efficiency in incorporating feedback. They delivered a significant amount of code with solid quality, making steady progress throughout the project. While their technical execution was generally strong, there were some design choices that could have benefited from deeper architectural insight or more experience in API and graphics library design. That said, they were always open to suggestions and quick to iterate based on feedback, which helped ensure the project stayed on track. Overall, a great choice for mid-level development work, especially for teams that can provide some architectural guidance.
