I have an entertainment company, and my main focus is a girl group composed of three young ladies.

What challenge were you trying to address with Gambix LLC?

We hired Gambix to create a game for the group. The game was another way of enhancing the girls’ image and having something else out there for their audience. Some years ago, we had an app that the girl group used at a radio show. With that app, we could replay their shows with our guests. We also gave t-shirts and allowed users to win different things. Eventually, we wanted to expand on that and do something a little differently since we’d moved more into the music side of things and less into radio.

What was the scope of their involvement?

In the beginning, we went back and forth with Gambix as we tried to come up with something that made sense. We played around with ideas, and they sent me character designs. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, our progress slowed down a bit; in fact, everybody was shut down for a while. Eventually, we came up with a game concept. The goal was to keep our fans engaged, so we put together a game that was related to the girls in the group. 

At present, I constantly talk to Gambix about things that can be added to the game through a series of emails and conference calls. In that sense, we’ve had a fair amount of documentation. The main feature and fun of the game are seeing the girls. In it, users can select the girl that they want to play to run to the stage. They may be coming out of an office or a hotel, and they need to run down the street to get to the said stage. 

Obstacles are present along the way. To keep the game girly, the characters need to step over some diamonds. If they fall, a paparazzi comes out to take a picture of the character, which happens in real life — we don’t see the paparazzi until we do something we don’t want them to see. We’ve started with a basic design, but we continue to work with Gambix to keep the game interesting and keep people engaged by it.

I found them at an event where the group was performing. We started talking, and they followed the girls on Instagram. I didn’t know that they did anything related to gaming; it just came up in a conversation, and we went from there.

We started working together in December 2018, and the project is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our target demographic is in the age range the group is in. A big percentage of that is men between 17–30 years. It turns out that their little brothers and sisters grab the game from them; more kids are playing the game because it’s not hard to play. In fact, the kids are a lot better at the game than the target audience. In other words, Gambix has created a game that’s open for all ages. 

Moreover, there aren’t any bugs per se in the game, though we’ll be upgrading it. Meanwhile, when we ask Gambix to change the colors and outfits of the characters based on the song that the group has released, the team turns that around quickly. In short, they take care of anything that we need to address. 

How did  Gambix LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

In terms of project management, Gambix meets our expectations, and their work is within our budget. We also don’t have any real deadlines, which is great because it means there’s no pressure on them. That’s our way of making sure that everybody can do their best work. To communicate, we use phone calls, emails, and text messages. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their personal touch is impressive. The Gambix team is reachable, and it’s easy to talk to them. That stands out, especially to somebody like me who's not technically savvy at all. They patiently explain things to me so that I can understand what’s possible and what might be impossible to do in the game. There’s been no judgment; they’ve been truly personal and supportive with what they do. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s been a time when I talk more to one person than the other, though that’s likely because of the COVID-19 pandemic. That being said, I can always get to either one of them to get things done or answer questions.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Try to have a good idea of what you want so that Gambix has a feel for your goals. In other words, be totally honest about what you want and expect, and they’ll be clear on what they should deliver.

What challenge were you trying to address with Gambix LLC?

I contacted Gambix to make the website more compatible for users and implement an easy way to offer payment opportunities. We wanted to create a prepaid opportunity for people before the start of their training session.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’re frequently meeting to create the website’s layout. Gambix works on not only the design but also the website's features. They’re helping us upload videos and photos for training. Their team’s also creating a calendar, so clients can click the calendar to book training sessions. They’re also in the process of connecting the site with Square so clients can pay online. Their team synced my Instagram and Facebook profiles with it.

I found them through a referral.

So far, I’ve spent $400 on the project.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I just wanted a website that would help with my business. Gambix helps with that goal, and we’re still working on the project. Their team’s helpful in creating my vision for the website, which is for it to be able to process payments and showcase my business. I’m extremely satisfied with the process so far.

How did Gambix LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

Earlier in the project, we met over Zoom so I could see how the website would work. About every two weeks, we meet to upload new features onto the website. I usually send Gambix an email and set up a time to connect. They call and then we review their progress. Their team’s efficient and sufficiently meets deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team responds to my feedback as soon as possible. I feel like I’m talking with a family member. If I have any concerns, they’re able to handle them in a proper manner.  

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything off the top of my head.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be specific about what you want. That gives them a framework for how to proceed. They have a lot of different parts to their business, so focus on being specific. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted but after talking with them a couple of times, I realized how I wanted the website to look. The project will be more efficient if you specifically know what you want.

I hired them to create a logo for my company. I worked with another company initially to create my site and logo, but the work was subpar. I reached out to Gambix to see what they could do.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I had a similar logo concept that I wanted them to recreate. That logo was owned by someone else, and the other provider told me that they could procure it for me. Another company ended up purchasing it.

I sent a copy of it to Gambix. The team was able to create a similar logo for me. They did a lot of research and shared ideas to get my approval.

What is the team composition?

I mainly worked with Claudius (Solutions Architect).

How did you come to work with Gambix LLC?

I’d known Claudius in the past. When I found out that he took this career path, I was pretty impressed. After researching web providers, we reconnected. I asked if his company could provide this service, and he sent over his previous work and portfolio. Claudius took the time to provide that they had the capabilities to provide the service I was looking for. He didn’t use the fact that we knew each other, which impressed me.

We spent only $30.

We worked together in January 2021.

The team provides a timely and stellar service. Their responsiveness gave me my logo in a timely manner. It was professionally done and to my liking. I sent it out on social media to my friends, family, and colleagues. They were all ecstatic about the quality of work.

A friend of mine wants them to build their website. My father also wants to work with them.

All of my communication was with Claudius. He facilitated everything with his team on the backend.

They put the client first. Their team focuses on the client experience, which separates them from other providers.

I wanted graphic designs to improve my social media page. Basically, I wanted to gain more customers.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Gambix basically did the graphic design for my Facebook page. I brought my ideas to them, and then their team created a logo to use on my page. I also plan to use the logo for my business cards.

I was referred to Gambix. I spoke with them and decided to try working with their team.

Gambix created a logo that was more appealing, so I received more views on my Facebook page. I was blown away by their work, and it definitely brought more business my way. It was easy to share my ideas with them, which they reciprocated. Their team gave feedback that made the design better. They took the ideas that I had and brought them to life. I was impressed.

How did Gambix LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated via text message or email. I could also pick up the phone and call them if I had any questions. It was easy to communicate with them. Their team was able to create the graphics in a reasonable timeframe that definitely met my expectations. They were able to collect all of the necessary information and then quickly turned around the logo. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

It was easy to communicate with them. They took the information that I gave them and brought my vision to life. Their team was willing to work with me. All in all, I was impressed with Gambix.

No, they work really well together.

If anyone were seeking a graphic design artist, I would point them to Gambix. It’s worth the cost because their team will give you what you asked from them. I would definitely recommend Gambix to people.

Gambix successfully moved our website from Canva to WordPress, updated our content, redesigned the site for better functionality, and created a flow for potential partners to work with us. We tested the new functionality and partner flow internally.

How did Gambix perform from a project management standpoint?

We delivered based on our collaborative work schedules. Sometimes, Gambix caused the delay. Sometimes, we caused the delay. Ultimately, we wanted to be done by the end of January 2026, so the project was delivered on time.

We needed help getting our website up and running. Our customer base was solely being conducted through word of mouth and social media.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Gambix LLC created a web platform that helps our customers take and receive payments. Within our package, we get assisted interaction with their customer service. They stay with us throughout the entire process to update it.

In the first phase of the project, we sat down and talked about what I wanted to do with the website and what they could provide with that. Then we discussed how we could come up with something user friendly based on my ideas.

Once we had the content completed, that’s when we started with the website creation. They asked information about our target audience and where we planned on marketing to. From there, they offered different packages.

We worked with Julian (CEO).

How did you come to work with Gambix LLC?

I knew Julian and told him I needed a website. That’s when I learned about Gambix LLC. Once I saw the draft and vision, I decided that would be the company I would work with.

They took it a step above creating a website. They made sure it was visually appealing and exactly what I was describing. The process wasn’t rushed at all. They always gave me alternatives on how we could fix it.

They did a great job. The entire team was proficient in Agile and Scrum. We communicated via email, phone, face-to-face, and Google Meets.

Their customer service was great, and it’s not hard to reach to them. They responded back in a few hours. Their quality of work is great. The team always makes sure the final deliverable is what you want it to be.

My advice is to know what you want before you contact them. Have a laid-out plan of exactly what you want and how you want it to look. They’ll help you create a plan but it helps to have a detailed plan laid out.
