One of the main deliverables was a custom 360° virtual reality experience developed for Mabe's employee induction program, designed to be showcased during a large public event. The project included planning, on-site 360° video capture across multiple manufacturing areas, voice-over integration, immersive application development, testing, deployment, and on-site technical support during the event. Across approximately seven to eight projects - ranging from two-week focused engagements to multi-month builds - fyware delivered content and application work for training programs commissioned by medverse's enterprise clients in the healthcare industry.
  • Engagements covered the full production chain: 3D asset creation and device modelling, interaction and didactic design, application development, sound design, and build delivery across Apple Vision Pro (visionOS), standalone VR, and Windows desktop targets - all Unity-based.

• Collaboration and Handover -> Two points stand out: 
  • First, every handover was fully documented at the point of delivery, with no residual dependency on fyware to operate or continue developing the work - medverse can take any deliverable forward in-house.
  • Second, and more notably, fyware nonetheless retained full ownership of outcomes rather than treating handover as the end of responsibility. That combination - clean, dependency-free handover paired with genuine end-to-end accountability - is rare among external development partners and is the main reason the collaboration scaled across so many parallel projects.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Reduced development time on standing projects: 10-20%. Across recurring project types, fyware achieved a 10-20% reduction in development time as the collaboration matured - the result of accumulated domain understanding, reusable structures, and reduced ramp-up on each new engagement. This translated directly into lower cost per module for medverse. 

Scaled from single engagement to standing partnership: The collaboration grew from an initial project to approximately seven to eight delivered engagements within twelve months, with scope expanding from defined asset work to full end-to-end application ownership. Repeat commissioning at that rate is the clearest available signal of delivery reliability.

Deadlines met in 6 of 8 projects: The two exceptions were driven by scope changes introduced during delivery, not by execution issues on fyware's side. In both cases fyware absorbed the change and delivered the expanded scope.

Delivery expectations met in approximately 90% of cases: The remaining gap was closed through a co-learning process - medverse and fyware iterated on specification quality and didactic requirements together, and expectation alignment improved measurably over the course of the year.

Reduced management overhead over time: Early projects ran under structured, closely specified delivery; later projects were executed by fully self-managed fyware teams. By the later engagements, medverse involvement was limited to alignment checkpoints rather than active project management.

Delivery discipline.
fyware managed delivery reliably across both closely specified and fully autonomous engagement models. Deadlines were met in almost all cases - and where a timeline came under pressure, fyware absorbed the extra time and effort on their side rather than passing it back to medverse.

Handling of change and new ideas.
Where improvements emerged mid-development, fyware welcomed and executed them rather than defending the original specification. The spec was treated as a starting point, not a boundary.

Responsiveness.
Requests, adjustments, and shifting priorities were accommodated professionally and with a pronounced service mentality. Communication stayed clear and proactive throughout, including on projects run entirely by self-managed fyware teams.

The clearest differentiator was that Fyware operated as a partner rather than a vendor. Values and quality standards were evident from the first engagement and did not need to be negotiated into the relationship - they were already there. Practically, this showed up in access: medverse worked directly with project management, developers, and leadership rather than through an account layer. Input was clear at every level, and the willingness to collaborate was consistent regardless of who was in the room. Combined with structured, professional execution and genuine openness to feedback and change, this made fyware feel less like an external supplier and more like an extension of the medverse team.

Little to flag, and both points are about doing more of what already works.

Front-load even more questions.
The upfront alignment fyware brings is already strong - our suggestion is simply to apply the same depth to smaller assignments as to large ones. A few additional clarifying questions at kickoff, regardless of project size, would remove the small ambiguities that occasionally surfaced later.

Share cross-project learnings more proactively. When fyware brought in insights & experiences from prior work, it was consistently valuable - and we would encourage them to offer that input more often and earlier. That experience is one of the strongest things they bring to a collaboration, and there is room to put it on the table sooner without waiting to be asked.

We comissioned Fyware to create a snapchat filter for our audience that was themed around our Awards. We wanted to have something fun, engaging that makes us of the technology we are promoting. And we managed to achieve that. We had the filter and people liked using it. It was a fun experience

Huge success at the first event where racing the track in a simulator was offered. Large crowds gathered and the Japanese brand client was happy

I’m the founder and director of LatAR, a VR, AR, and MR solutions company for industries. We focus on innovation, training, simulation, and capacitation with immersive technology and AI.
