I'm the co-founder of a web development company based in Paris, France.

We are regularly hiring Futuro as a team extension or sub-contracting complete projects to them to better manage our growth.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We personally knew the founders of Futuro, but the key deciding factors were their availability and the good technical staff they've got.

Our main stack is NodeJS/React/AWS, but we also had some WordPress and DevOps projects with Futuro. As we are a service agency ourselves, our interaction with Futuro ranges from a simple team extension where we would hire a couple of their developers, to 100% management by Futuro.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Depending on the project, we worked with various developers, with 2-3 QAs as well as with a Project Manager (who is very competent).

The project was delivered on budget.

We used Slack, Jira, and GitHub. The project management style is Scrum-like.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They always find solutions for us at the last minute.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Hire more PMs like Victoria!

Futuro helped us with development of certain parts of our iOS app, like Phrasebook & Safari Extension.

Got recommended by a founder-friend here in Berlin. Futuro did some work for them, too.

I'm not a big fan of meetings. They adjusted to it. We had one initial meeting and then we mostly communicated over Slack. It worked well.

One PM who was coordinating work on their end; but generally I was happy that I was mostly talking with the "executors." We were assigned one designer and two iOS developers.

Safari Extension is used by 100k people right now

They managed the project well and always reacted fast. No micromanagement.

The ease of communication, good quality of work, and we felt unique and well taken care of.

I'm the co-founder of a consulting firm dedicated to the financial industry transformation in France and UK.

We needed to build an MVP for a large French retailer who wanted to embed insurance subscription plans into its digital and physical channels.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had a few options at hand to design and build the web app Either go with a quite expensive full stack dev based in France or choose to outsource the job to an external vendor either In france or abroad The deciding factors were a mix of professionnalism, good credentials and affordable cost

We had preliminary meetings, a kick-off with a product manager with whom we divided the project into 3 phases : - Set-up - Build - Test - Delivery Throughout each phase we would have weekly meetings, monthly recap and chat on-the-go with the project director to adjust workload and timeline..

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

At the start, a CTO and project manager got involved to design the mainframe, afterwards, front and back end developers joined the project until the end.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching the embedded insurance app, the French retailer saw a boost in Insurance Sales in 2 of its pilot stores. After 4 months, more than 150 insurances had been subscribed.

Daily stand-ups if necessary, Weekly catch-up and a Monthly recap. We had a slack channel to manage everyday interactions, with a really good availability from the team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

A strong commitment with a good capacity to adapt itself to project changes or new context / tools. Their team consisted of trustworthy and skilled developers.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Due to many project postponements, we had to cope with many changes of developer, which is understandable. At the end it didn't impact the overall results.

Very good designers, They were a team of skilled developers who demonstrated development best practices in application architecture
