**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I work as a Head of Digital Operations for an HR company providing an online staffing platform for temporary workers.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire Future Processing, and what were your goals?

We were looking for rapid product innovation. As we were expecting significant growth, we needed to modernise our solution’s architecture and technology with a view of gaining flexible system framework.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We engaged in initial discussions which led to Future Processing formulating their recommendations. There was a series of meetings and short workshops at the beginning. We liked their ideas, and so the project kicked off with a few months’ long transition from our previous software supplier.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The team’s idea was to clean up, stabilise and digitally transform the system through redesigning existing processes and refactoring the code. Future Processing team has worked alongside our in-house Tech and Product Teams on the design of new features and system upgrades. To avoid high costs associated with changing the existing monolithic application, the team migrated it to a microservices ecosystem. They also added automated testing and deployment to the process. Key technologies: .NET, Azure, Xamarin, Microservices, SQL.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

At peak times we had three teams with Future Processing - two development teams and one data team, with around 20 engineers in total. Roles included Scrum masters, Architects, Developers, Data (BI) Engineers and a Business Analyst. This team composition eased the management of day-to-day operations, supported our Product Team, delivered needed features, and provides clear high - quality data which is so valuable in making business decisions. On the business side, Future Processing assigned a dedicated Client Engagement Managers to facilitate strategic planning of the partnership.

We have enjoyed our engagement with Future Processing and together we’ve made a well-working, proactive team of experts who regularly met, attended workshops together and shared a similar work ethic. **The Review** — Jul 5, 2023

**Feedback Summary**: Future Processing went above and beyond the client's expectations. Their work received very positive feedback, and the live testers were impressed. The team is exceptional due to their skills and enthusiasm to fully understand the client's industry and goals.
""I knew Future Processing had the expertise to support us, and they've just blown me away with what they have produced.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I'm the founder of Cancer Central. Our organization is creating a technology platform to help people affected by cancer find the support and information they need. Our organization operates differently as it's run entirely by volunteers. We've been fortunate to receive more than 70,000 hours of donated time from various companies and individuals.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing? We sought professional assistance for UX and frontend development for our new website. While we had already built the backend with the help of volunteers, Future Processing was very keen to assist us in achieving our goals.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? We began with a lean product canvas to reconfirm what we were trying to achieve. The team brainstormed UX ideas and built upon our previous work. I already defined my user personas, but they did a check-through and a refresh with me. They interviewed individuals impacted by cancer to ensure the UX design was effective. Upon approval, they then implemented the changes. Following that, they had a fantastic software developer who then changed specific pages of our site and connected it to our new backend part of the platform. They did everything from design, checking it through user experience, to delivering the change on our site, which has been excellent. They utilized Figma for the design and React for the development. There was a particular piece of our site where there was an issue. We had UX support from others and were given ideas on what to bring forward. I presented numerous suggestions to the Future Processing team and made them aware of the issues. The developer who assisted us actively listened, made revisions, and devised a straightforward method to integrate everything. It impressed both me and my CTO. The solution was almost obvious, but he still managed to come up with something extraordinary. We'd developed the backend engine, but needed to understand the APIs connecting the frontend to the backend. Our software developer did a great job of adjusting the frontend to match the desired user experience and analyzing the necessary APIs. Together with our other developer, they determined the optimal approach for transferring diverse sets of information. Overall, their work was outstanding and valuable. What is the team composition? One UX designer and a senior software developer were dedicated to the project. Others from the Future Processing team joined us for the workshop, including the heads of UX and marketing. Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?Jan (UX/UI Designer) was brilliant in finding the solution to our problem. I can't speak more highly of him.  How did you come to work with Future Processing?I knew of them through my network. How much have you invested in them? They graciously completed the work for us pro bono. What is the status of this engagement? We worked with Future Processing from April–June 2023.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? We are currently doing live testing, but we have received very positive feedback. The live testers are super impressed with it.Future Processing exceeded our expectations. It was an incredible experience with a fantastic team. I knew Future Processing had the expertise to support us, and they've just blown me away with what they have produced. How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint? They performed exceptionally well when it comes to project management. We used email and Zoom calls for communication. What did you find most impressive about them? The most impressive thing was their innovation. They grasped the concept and found the best way to deliver. Future Processing was incredibly generous. The team donated time and expertise pro bono because they're aware of the growing number of people affected by cancer. Are there any areas they could improve? There are no areas for improvement. Do you have any advice for potential customers?Be extremely open with the problem you are facing. Future Processing is there to help you find the right solution.

**Feedback Summary**: The client was happy with Future Processing’s work; the team built the product according to requirements. Although there were delays in the schedule, the team stayed within the budget despite working extra days. The client also appreciated the helpfulness of Future Processing’s discovery workshop.
"“The entire team did a really good job.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I'm an executive at a startup in Switzerland's mortgage and brokerage market.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing? We hired them to create a software solution to compare end customers' cases.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?Future Processing provided us with software development. We had an initial call, and then we had a two-day workshop to discuss the requirements further. Future Processing built the MVP of a tool where we could type in each individual client’s case, including the affordability of the property, and the solution matched the client with rules and regulations from each bank and interest rates. What is the team composition? We worked with 5–6 teammates from Future Processing, including programmers and a business line manager. How did you come to work with Future Processing?I did online research and found them on Clutch; since Future Processing had very good reviews, I decided to meet them. After the workshop, we had a really good feeling about Future Processing. How much have you invested with them?We spent roughly $400,000.What is the status of this engagement? We worked together from March 2022–March 2023.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? The entire team did a really good job; Future Processing built the MVP we wanted. Since the project was only finished a couple of months ago, we don’t have any quantitative metrics about its impact yet.How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint? They respected the budget. Although the delivery was late, the issue wasn’t only on Future Processing’s end; there were features we didn’t think of from the beginning that took time to develop. What did you find most impressive about them?Future Processing was so keen on staying within the budget that they didn’t bill us for a couple of days’ work, which we appreciated. Are there any areas they could improve? As strategic advice for Future Processing, they would make more sense as a partner for more established companies rather than startups or companies with a limited budget. Do you have any advice for potential customers?I recommend doing Future Processing’s workshop; even though it has a cost, it will enable you to compare offers from other providers and better understand each other on a personal level. Additionally, I wouldn’t suggest going with Future Processing if you have a limited budget.

**Feedback Summary**: The client was very satisfied with the developers from Future Processing, and the team delivered on the expected outputs. The team quickly onboarded and made contributions to the project. The client was impressed with the developers' quality and ability to adapt to the company culture.
"“What really stood out was how quickly they started contributing.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the head of software engineering at Ito World. We work with public transport data that we collect from cities around the world, and then we process that data, clean it up, and provide that to subscribers for use in journey planning tools like Google Maps.
We also provide analytics tools so that public transit operators and local authorities can see how their public transport network performs. I oversee all of our products' software development and QA.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?
We wanted to augment our teams with extra people to give us more capacity. We had existing products that we wanted to do more work on, so we brought in Future Processing to work alongside our teams to give us that extra capacity.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?
We’ve worked with Future Processing on several small projects and brought in developers with different skills. The prime areas that we worked with Future Processing on were Angular and Java.
What is the team composition?
We engaged with developers and a business analyst for a short period of time.
How did you come to work with Future Processing?
We looked at a number of alternatives, using Clutch to identify potential candidates. We originally met with Jamie (Business Development Manager), who introduced us to the business and what they could provide, and we talked about what we wanted. We wanted to bring in some software and quality engineers and be involved in the selection process.
The people that were presented to us had already gone through the Future Processing selection process, and had been identified as people they thought would be a good fit in terms of our culture, the skills we needed, and their overall ability. We then had a 30-minute interview to confirm that.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together between June 2022–May 2023.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
There was that aspect of making sure that we were delivering what we were setting out to deliver according to the timescales we set out for the project. In terms of the developer's abilities, output, and the way they fit into the team, we had a very positive experience with Future Processing.
In general, culture is very important to us, and we wanted to ensure that we had people who were invested in and supported our culture to maintain it. The people that Future Processing provided were fantastic in terms of their engagement with the team and how they gelled and became one with the team. They really fit in with the culture.
How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint?
All of our development was done using the Scrum methodology. We had agile teams as part of the scrum process, and we measured the team's performance and what they were able to deliver.
The developers would meet daily with the teams for the scrum stand-ups through Slack and Microsoft Teams, and we communicated with managers through these channels.  Everything was online because we were working remotely.
The nature of our engagement meant that the budget was not really a measure we looked at because we were engaging with them for a period of time. They were augmented within our team, and we were managing that team, so it wasn’t like a piece of work we had sent them to deliver within a specific timescale.
What did you find most impressive about them?
For me, it was the quality of the people we engaged with. We like to get people engaged with the teams as early as possible so they can get up and running to learn from the team. Future Processing was a nice and supportive team that always helped get people started, but what really stood out was how quickly they started contributing.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I think there were a few little things because everyone was learning all the time, especially when we were taking on new people. We pointed out a few things for some of the individuals to consider, but there was nothing that troublesome. It was very standard advice that developers get as they continue their careers. It was nice to give that feedback, and Future Processing was very open to hearing it and learning.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Initially, we wanted to have oversight of the selection process to ensure people fit for us. As we progressed further and grew that relationship with Future Processing, I am sure we would have been able to step back and feel confident that they knew what we wanted. For us, that was a good approach that worked well.

The team’s idea was to clean up, stabilise and digitally transform the system through redesigning existing processes and refactoring the code. **Feedback Summary**: Future Processing’s support has allowed the client to build the solution on time, meeting expectations. They provide top-notch project management — their team is professional, predictable, and transparent. The quality of their work and QA standards are impressive.
""They’ve been predictable and professional from onboarding to engagement.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the chief digital officer of Datapharm, and we publish medicine information in the UK. We gather data from pharmaceutical companies and publicize it on their behalf in an accessible format using our website.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

We were a fairly small company with only 30 people, and we were growing very quickly from a commercial point of view. However, our product and tech side is not growing as quickly in terms of finding the right talents and executing projects. Whenever we found talents, it took time for the team to get together, which we couldn’t afford.

We needed to start delivering quickly, as we were working on a time-sensitive opportunity. Because of Brexit, medicine information applicable to Northern Ireland differed from the UK’s. Pharmaceutical companies had an issue with distributing information, and we had to fulfill that very quickly. We needed help in scaling and speeding up our development efforts.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Future Processing is helping us develop our software from scratch. The tool is built on Microsoft Azure, and we are using platform as a service components.

What is the team composition?

I work with a team leader, a QA specialist, three backend developers, and a frontend developer.

How did you come to work with Future Processing?

Someone recommended Future Processing to me. When I looked at their company setup and processes, they gave me confidence that they could step up to what we needed them to do.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about £160,000 (approximately $210,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working since December 2020, and our partnership is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our main metric has been to launch the product in time for our clients’ cut-off period, and Future Processing has successfully delivered.

How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint?

I’m impressed by Future Processing’s very mature project management processes. We’ve relied on their team to run the project. We have an operational and steering group meeting weekly, and we collaborate using Microsoft Teams. Communication has been free-flowing and instantaneous, making things easier for us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Future Processing’s work quality level and transparency make them stand out. They’ve been predictable and professional from onboarding to engagement — I know what I’m getting at each stage. They also send reports financial reports monthly.

In addition, Future Processing has a robust internal quality standard, and they don’t allow resources to work with clients until they have passed a certain level of QA.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Future Processing seems to be losing a good number of resources, and probably it’s because they aren’t competitive. It also takes them longer to replace people who have left despite having a one-month notice period.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you’re going to rely on Future Processing’s services, request that the people you hire have longer notice periods. Also, consider having a team leader from their end to get the best from their team.

**The Review** — Nov 29, 2021

**Feedback Summary**: The platform has been positively received by the customer base, and the client's strategic vision for this area of the business is being realized. Future Processing has managed the project well using Miro, Jira, and Confluence as tools. They’re skilled, personable, and goal-oriented partners.
""Future Processing has delivered everything they said they would and more.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the IT director for DX Network Services Limited, part of the DX (Group) PLC. We’re a parcel, logistics, and freight solution provider. We deliver many packages all around the country on different services. I’ve worked with DX for 30 years, and I’m based in Liverpool, the company’s IT center of operations.

We have a separate part of the business called the Document Exchange, which is the oldest part of DX and why the company was created. The Document Exchange is a member’s only network to move secure and sensitive documents around the UK, predominantly for the legal space. However, we also work with other types of organizations.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

During the pandemic, many people's working environment changed, many of our Document Exchange customers found themselves working at home instead of working in their offices. We wanted to augment our Document Exchange (a private member’s only physical document network) with a digital equivalent. We believed that having a solid digital offering along with our unique physical delivery proposition in the UK puts us in a very strong position.

Initially, we looked at the sort of product that we wanted to create and realized that besides all the essential features expected in any kind of digital exchange platform, the solution needed to be extremely strong in privacy and security. For example, many of the documents that move through our network are related to ongoing court cases or somebody’s mortgage documents for a new house. Therefore, the digital equivalent of those documents could contain a lot of sensitive and private information.

At that point in time, the internal was fully engaged on other development priorities, also we wanted to tap into leading edge secure development knowledge. We needed someone to help us with custom software development.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

When we started fleshing out our strategic vision, collaboratively with Future Processing’s developers.  We’d decided to make the platform as secure as possible by keeping it separate from the rest of our IT environments, completely firewalled in its own secure area. We selected the Azure cloud for that environment, and we relied heavily on Future Processing’s skills to develop that arena.

At the moment, that work is drawing to a conclusion. We’ve developed the DX Exchange Portal and are currently running a pilot.

What is the team composition?

They’ve been excellent at scaling up and down the team when we reached specific pieces of work. Providing just the right skill sets as and when required. At the moment, we’re working with eight employees who are pretty much dedicated full-time to this project.

How did you come to work with Future Processing?

We were looking around the marketplace for a development partner that could do the bulk of the work we needed, bringing key knowledge sets in areas of security.  We loved Future Processing’s story and attitude, there was a strong cultural fit.

Future Processing gave us a lot of confidence, both in the structure that they operate and in the individual capabilities of the team. They have incredibly strong skillsets in secure application design. Therefore, we awarded the contract to Future Processing.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in March 2020, and our relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Future Processing has delivered everything they said they would and more. The Document Exchange is a private member’s network; there’s a high level of interest from many of our customers. Many of those organizations are looking into their own digital journey,  we’re effectively making that journey easier for them.

How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve done really well. We’ve worked with many different partners over the years, and Future Processing is definitely in the top three in terms of capability. They’re very clear and concise in their communications, and they give us complete visibility in every aspect of the development — both from the high-level project management approach and down to all of the daily technical activities that are happening.

Also, they’re great at managing stakeholders, particularly when it is a brand-new custom software. As a customer, we can potentially get carried away and throw the kitchen sink in there because we keep thinking of all these great ideas. However, Future Processing is excellent at holding us to the brief and making sure that we make good progress on our true objectives.

Moreover, they’ve worked well as part of the team. They’re a very personable bunch, and it’s easy to get along with them — they’re very clear and effective.

We use a variety of project management and discovery tools, but Jira and Confluence are the bread and butter. In the early stages of design, we used Miro, which allowed us to collaborate on the design. This was during the height of the pandemic, so we were both operating outside of our normal working ways.  Usually, we’d get people together in a big room and spend several days on design workshops. Instead we had to do all of that remotely and electronically. At this point in the development, we have a minimum of three Teams meetings every week to keep everything on track and answer any detailed design questions that arise as part of the agile development process.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their approach to estimating costs and sticking to those costs is one of the best I’ve experienced. They absolutely make sure that we have just what we need, and if we’re not using something, it’s instantly dialed down.

We also have had excellent visibility of what the development is costing us at any point in time. It’s basically a greenfield development; we’re building a new solution, not replacing, modifying, or refreshing something. It’s a completely new business requirement, and we’ve done incredibly well at sticking to the budget.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’re reaching the end of our time together (at least for this project), so we’re now doing a little bit of a handover at a technical level. I think both parties would’ve preferred to meet more frequently in person.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anybody as a solutions development partner, especially to augment an existing team; they represent great value. However, you need to fully commit to their level of intensity and make sure that you have IT and business stakeholders dedicating their time frequently and regularly. There needs to be a commitment throughout the development lifecycle so Future Processing can do their best work.

CTO, SaaS Advertising Platform
- Industry: Advertising & marketing

- Client size: 201-500 Employees
- Review Type: Online Review

**The Review** — Nov 11, 2021

**Feedback Summary**: Future Processing has exceeded the client's expectations so far. They have a well-executed project management process that is also well structured. The client also said that they have been aligned with their vision and had the appropriate processes.
""Future Processing has been aligned with our vision and has had the appropriate processes to keep aligned.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

We are the leading privacy-first, location-powered programmatic advertising partner. I'm the Chief Technology Officer.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire Future Processing, and what were your goals?

Future Processing was brought in to help us build a new data visualization and management application, working in conjunction with our Product team and designers. Our key initial goal was to accelerate our time-to-market relative to building it strictly in-house.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I received a set of recommendations for development partners from other CTOs in my network. My team and I met with these companies and evaluated them on culture fit, the depth and similarity of their portfolio, extent of technical competency, our gut feeling on trustworthiness, and also the perceived value for investment. We felt Future Processing's working style was the best fit for ours and we had confidence in their trustworthiness and technical capability. Although they were not the lowest price potential partner, we felt we'd get the best return on investment from them.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We began the project with a set of specifications and designs put together by our Product and design team. Working with the FP team, we crafted these into user stories that fit into the Kanban working style we wanted to work in. We defined some technology standards for the project (e.g. Java backend, React frontend, and Docker and Kubernetes for containerization) and the FP team proposed an architectural framework to build the application. The project was launched with daily standups and typical Kanban rituals attended by the FP team and our assigned product managers. Development, from the initial launch and through to ongoing refinement, is done using agile practices that aim to deliver incremental functionality quickly and often. All pull requests are code reviewed by our in-house development team that support the relationship.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The initial team consisted of two java engineers, two frontend engineers, and a fractional project manager. We've since expanded the team to bring on two additional java engineers and another frontend engineer.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Future Processing exceeded our expectations on project delivery and were able to deliver on-time and on-spec in a manner I'd typically only expect from an in-house team.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

FP's project management was well executed and well structured. We executed against a Kanban process to allow flexibility and FP were consistently able to deliver against expectations, without requiring or relying upon excessive management overhead or time spent in meetings.

We primarily communicated "in person" in the daily standups and planning rituals, with frequent ongoing communication via Slack. Our Product team would communicate new features using product specifications, shared and refined via Google Docs.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I've worked with a number of development partner organizations over the years and almost all of the experiences have been less than great. One of the common areas these relationships can breakdown is if tasks aren't delivered on time or if the partner organization is unable to see the product with the same eyes as the sponsoring organization.

Future Processing has been aligned with our vision and has had the appropriate processes to keep aligned. As such, the product we've built with them has fulfilled our vision. Importantly, we feel the code has been written to a high standard and we're confident that, were we ever to inhouse it, we could maintain it and not be hindered by technical debt.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We've been happy with the relationship and whenever there have been bumps, as there will always be, we've felt FP has handled them exceptionally well and transparently.

For what projects/services did your company hire Future Processing, and what were your goals?

First, we needed to migrate the platform to a newer version of the Symphony framework and PHP, to ensure secure and sustainable development of the service as the previous framework was no longer to be supported. Second, we needed to extend the functionality of the platform to deliver new modules to our clients within the agreed timescale.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I have been collaborating with Future Processing over the past 3 years in different software development projects and knew the way they work and deliver. We needed to scale up in short amount of time with a partner that could support our growth. After reviewing several candidates, we decided that Future Processing was the best fit.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Future Processing developed the new features of the Communities module, which enables users to join online communities to connect, do business, and exchange information and ideas with other companies. Despite some initial challenges in the cooperation between Future Processing and CONNECTS’ development teams, we communicated very well on the management level. As a result, together, we managed to turn things around and deliver a fully functioning Communities module within the agreed timescale. Through our cooperation, we achieved our business goal of being able to offer our clients a new opportunity to develop relationships, cooperate and share expertise.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project management communication was open, transparent and timely. Tools used: Teams, Zoom, our CONNECTS platform, GitLab, to which we added in-person meetings and visit to each of our offices.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed by their focus on people and building relationships. This is what Future Processing prides itself for.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In our project review, both parties recognized that we started the project too quickly, more time should have been spent on scoping out the project and socializing the internal and external teams. More in-depth feedback should have been sought about the quality of some of the junior staff put on the project.

**Feedback Summary**: Exemplifying reliable technical expertise, Future Processing has built a lucrative and cost-efficient platform, which has resulted in a 95% rate for online transactions and helped the client secure numerous orders despite the pandemic. They're also lauded for being cooperative and timeline-oriented.
""We have great trust in their team's work ethic.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm an IT director at Stalexport Autostrady SA. We specialize in toll motorway operation and maintenance.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

We needed their expertise in custom software development.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We wanted to automate our payment system, so we tasked Future Processing with building this new platform for us. Their team used Microsoft Azure to implement software solutions based on our preferences on design and functionality. The software was divided into two subsystems, one for our internal operations and the other system focusing on our client-related contacts and transactions. The latter system promoted our existing products and served as our selling platform as well.

Future Processing already accomplished the development of our platform, but we continue to rely on their support for system maintenance and management.

What is the team composition?

We've started with a team of 16 resources and had to downsize to eight members as the project evolved. The team is normally composed of a product owner, developers, business analysts, and graphic designers.

How did you come to work with Future Processing?

We needed a local agency with a reasonable price point, and Future Processing was the team that met all our requirements — apart from only being 40 kilometers away from our office, they also gave the best offer among our other options.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent $500,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

The development project ran from August 2019–June 2020, but our collaboration with Future Processing is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Future Processing has helped us hit our main goal of moving from a traditional to an automated payment system — that's our main success metric for their work. Our previous system has only enticed about 50% of our clientele to purchase from our website, but that rate has skyrocketed to almost 95% through our new payment portal. Apart from giving us lucrative options, it also helps us cut down on expenditure, which is especially beneficial now that we're going through a global pandemic.

How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint?

Future Processing is a communicative and cooperative team — they adhere to our project terms and work promptly despite the challenges that the pandemic has caused. Overall, it's safe to say that our collaboration with Future Processing has been one of the best projects I've ever handled in our company.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Future Processing strives to deliver quality results based on their in-depth understanding of our needs — we have great trust in their team's work ethic.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There's nothing constructive to say. Our ongoing collaboration is enough proof that we're impressed with the quality of their services.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Future Processing is a responsible team that's worth cooperating with — don't hesitate to hire them.

""Our demand is high because of our partnership’s success.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the director of engineering for an insurance company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

Our business segment is growing globally and we need technology to support the growth. We are developing a configurable platform to deploy in multiple countries. To scale up the program, we partnered with Future Processing to work with our teams.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Future Processing provides a whole agile team to be part of our program. Initially, we provided the information so they’d help us execute. They’ve used a mix of AWS cloud technologies, JavaScript, and Spring Boot, and everything is furnished by Serverless Orlando Services. They’ve also contributed to the design.

The platform is a full-suite insurance lifecycle and value stream. It’s an in-house iterative software application.

Future Processing formed an autonomous agile product team as part of this particular program.

What is the team composition?

We have over 20 people on our team, including a scrum master, product owner (PO), architects, product designers, and engineers.

How did you come to work with Future Processing?

Future Processing was introduced to our company. This program, started in 2019, was the first engagement with FP.  Since then, as a result of the success of this program, the partnership with FP has grown multi-fold.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $1–$5 million.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement with the program started in 2019 and is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Overall, it’s easy to work with Future Processing. They have industry-standard agile team skills and come up to speed quickly in every role they play.  The team not only gels into the program, they bring expertise and insights and are an integral part of the program.

The team grew from 5 people to 20+ in the past 18 months, which speaks well about how satisfied we are with our partnership.

How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint?

Future Processing team comes with industry-standard agile team skills. They were able to form the backlog quickly and were mindful to grow the team's velocity over time. They’ve reduced the onboarding time for new team members. Now, someone can show up and be able to develop and check-in code within two weeks.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their professionalism, flexibility, and company culture are most impressive.

I am most impressed by the professionalism and the quality of the team. They took the time to absorb and understand our business and technology landscape, which made them contribute quickly as a partner. People in every role bring their A-game.

We started with five individuals, and they were able to jumpstart the team and get in a productive state within 2–4 weeks. FP listens to our needs and was able to find the right people to support us.

Throughout the pandemic, we know FP is very mindful of employees' health and wellbeing. Their company campus setup (e.g. onsite child care) indicates that they are a people company.

Are there any areas they could improve?

At this point, the challenge is for all of us to maintain and add to the level of capacity we have. Our demand is high because of our partnership’s success.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear on what the engagement is about. If you don’t know, they can help you explore it. Future Processing has a vast service portfolio, so they’ll be able to meet your needs.

For companies in the US, be mindful of time zone differences.

**Feedback Summary**: Future Processing efficiently uses data to provide information about employees’ performance and prevent quality issues. The client is satisfied with their quality services and prompt release cycles. They use Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Zoom to manage the project and their communication.
""They help us coordinate the right skill sets, teams, and activities in order to get the job done."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CTIO of a global B2B information group that focuses exclusively on private equity, real estate, and debt, as well as infrastructure and agri investing. As these asset classes continue to grow in scale and significance, we provide unparalleled business knowledge, intelligence, and networking events to investors, fund managers, financial practitioners, and other service industries.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

We were deciding whether to build our in-house engineering team or to take on a nearshore engineering development partner.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Future Processing is our in-house engineering team, and they work on multiple projects for us. Instead of us actually recruiting our own team and then having the overhead of managing, retaining, and developing that team internally, we brought in a service that provided that to us.

Initially, we gave them the background and history of the company. Their scope of work included the objectives, goals, and stakeholders involved. Furthermore, we presented proposals for the products that we were looking to develop or needed support. We also provided them with the system capabilities that we currently have, which we wanted to continue developing.

From there, they presented back to us their understanding of what we needed, their experience in that, both in similar clients and work that they’d previously done, and the types of skill sets and team setup that they’ve involved in those similar projects.

Right now, the projects they’re working on are our engineering projects. In particular, they work in collaboration with our technology and product development teams developing our website product and all of the applications that make up our web platform.

We mainly use WordPress CMS, Node.js, and JavaScript, which are the key technologies in our stack.

What is the team composition?

We initially started with about 14 roles. The team included a development manager, architect, PHP and WordPress developers, full-stack, Node.js, AWS, JavaScript open-source, QA, and DevOps engineers, as well as some UX designers.

Not only do we get a dedicated team from them, but we also have an on-demand resource pool as well. We can scale up their team on a relatively short notice whenever we need to fulfill some of the projects that we strategically decide on over the year. Then, we scale back down off the back of that.

At the moment, we have about 30 developers of all types of skill sets. About 15 of them are a core team, and another 15 have been provided to us on-demand to deliver very specific projects with shorter-term contracts.

How did you come to work with Future Processing?

We did an RFP process and had three companies shortlisted. We then traveled to various places in Western Europe and did site visits to them, where they presented themselves to us.

They responded to that RFP, and we weighed the decision based on people’s experience, skill sets, and what they delivered. We also gave them a task, and they presented back their proof of concept (POC) to show their ability to deliver what they were saying on paper. Off the back of all of that, we concluded that Future Processing was the right partner for us.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve already spent about £500,000 (approximately $706,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We completed the POC and made the decision to onboard them as our engineering partner in February 2020. We have an ongoing partnership.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

A couple of metrics that we judge by are the release cycles and the volume they’re now releasing for us at the end of every sprint, which are two weeks long, so there are two releases a month.

We also look at and track the quality of what they produce, which is based on how much rework is done, how many bugs are in the code, and that type of issues. Lastly, we judge individuals based on the quality and volume of their work. It’s all about cadence tracking and having the team work cohesively to produce faster results.

How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint?

I couldn’t really comment on their project management because we don’t use it. We have our own internal project management team that works with Future Processing’s engineering team. They don’t give us project management resources per se, but they do have a team lead within the engineering team, which sits around that project management area.

Their team lead is responsible for helping the project manager ensure that team members are adequately aligned with their skills to do the job at any time we need. They help us coordinate the right skill sets, teams, and activities in order to get the job done. That area is very strong, as far as I am concerned.

We have regular account management sessions, as well as regular team meeting sessions. In those, we provide feedback both from us and their team. Out of that, we establish the sets of goals in which we’re all going to work so we can continually improve our processes.

For project management tools, we use the Atlassian toolset, so basically Jira and Confluence. We use Zoom and Slack for day-to-day conversations. Currently, we’re restricted by COVID-19, but the intention on both sides would’ve been to spend time together in each other’s offices. After the pandemic, we’re expecting to get back some part of the face-to-face communication on a regular, if not frequent basis.

What did you find most impressive about them?

For us, it was the quality of the resources that they could show us and the way they manage that quality and develop their resources. Specifically, across all of their projects, they gather stats data on the information that’s coming out. They keep that anonymous for obvious reasons, but it allows us to gauge how effective someone is across each individual role. For example, we can measure how effective an engineering resource might be with a particular skill set based on how many points they make or announce in their particular sprints, as well as the quality of that work.

Also, they have data that judges that, so they can pre-empt a bit when they see problems in quality. It’s a useful measurement for us because we can benchmark our team’s performance against the rest of their teams across all of their clients, and we get a gauge as to where we stand.

Are there any areas they could improve?

From an on-demand perspective, they probably could have more resources in the skill sets that we need. We know it’s a difficult thing to achieve, but that's still an area that we hope they keep improving so we’re able to scale at the pace that we want.

However, they’ve certainly worked very hard to fill gaps where we’ve needed on-demand resources, and it probably has taken them a while to recruit or mobilize those resources for us.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you’re bringing on a business like Future Processing, who’s already working with similar types of clients and problems, even potentially similar domains, I would look at those clients and the projects they’ve worked on. I would also make sure that all of them are referenced.

It’s not that we didn’t do that, but that’s the advice I would certainly give to somebody else since you don’t always get that. However, if you do so, it goes a long way when you’re onboarding the team because they tend to come with some experience and knowledge that gives them a little bit of a head start.

""The good customer experience was the most impressive thing about Future Processing."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I am co-founder of Elderlearn where we match immigrants who are learning Danish with elderly people at risk of loneliness. Elderlearn has designed their own IT-system for managing the matching of these two groups.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire Future Processing?

We were at first looking to outsource part of our IT development, but realised that our code structure needed to be improved before we could outsource, in order for us to improve the accessibility of the code for external developers.

What were your goals for this project?

To improve the code structure and thus make it easier and cheaper to outsource development.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select Future Processing?

We had several companies give offers for developing a project that we wanted outsourced. We had a lot of confidence in Future Processing from the first impression and they were the only ones to suggest an IT audit rather than an outsourcing project.

Describe the project in detail.

Our developers had ongoing meetings with a architect from future processing who at first gave recommendations for how to improve the code and afterwards followed up in terms of seeing if his suggestions were implemented correctly.

What was the team composition?

Two part time developers at Elderlearn and one architect at Future Processing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our developers were very happy with the process and the price estimation for outsourcing the project we wanted to outsource in the first place was had a significantly smaller range (was more precise) due to more accesable code.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was very easy to communicate with future processing and they were flexible and easy to work with.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The good customer experience was the most impressive thing about Future Processing.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I do not see any areas for improvement.

The company focuses on generating and activating leads and maximizing cross-channel conversion - from the first contact to successful completion at the PoS.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire Future Processing?

Our collaboration with Future Processing goes back until 2016. In 2019 we hired Future Processing for a project to upgrade, streamline, and re-implement our existing Business Intelligence capabilities. Even though successfully implemented, they were challenging in terms of maintenance and development due to their variety (different versions adjusted to the specific needs of each client).

What were your goals for this project?

The aim of the partnership was to create a Data Warehouse implementation with possibility to apply flexible customization tailored to our client’s particular needs.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select Future Processing?

We did a research to find companies who provide IT development capacities and services. After a first assessment we narrowed down the number of companies to 3 possible candidates. At the end Future Processing ended up as winner to conduct this project because we had good experiences in the past, their development skills and experiences and their specialization in Business Intelligence development.

Describe the project in detail.

Our initial solution contained complex data that had to be extracted from Microsoft SQL Server, Excel and SalesForce, transformed accordingly to our client’s needs and, finally, shared to other applications like QlikSense reporting for data insights. The main responsibility of Future Processing was to create the whole ETL (extract, transfer, load) procedure. In the course of the project, Future Processing provided services in business analysis, data flow planning, designing data warehouse architecture, data migration and system integration.

What was the team composition?

Future Processing provided a flexible team that was scaled up and down accordingly to our current business requirements. Over the course of the project their team consisted of Business Intelligence architects, developers and a quality assurance engineer as, from the very beginning, the team was constructed in the way that enabled delivery of the highest quality final product.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

FP has provided us with an optimal Data Warehouse for our BI system. Even logical changes within the DWH are implemented quickly. A reprioritisation of tasks is possible at any time, even in running sprints. With the help of Future Processing we have been able to improve our sales performance. '

The new automated data world improved the visibility on our sales activities and allowed us a better management of our sales teams. Reports run automatically, so we can support our customers more effectively and faster. We have become more responsive to new customer requirements.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project was organized and executed using Scrum. In this context, we provided the Product Owner to conduct communications with our stakeholders and the development team of FP. The project organization was very effective because communication has been easy and friendly all the time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Future Processing always managed to provide exactly the right people at the right time who helped us in the different stages of the project.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We can’t think of any improvements right now.

**The Review** — Apr 24, 2020

**Feedback Summary**: Future Processing developed a product that successfully achieved market penetration and received positive external feedback. In addition to providing a market-leading product, the team was responsive and communicative. Customers can expect a partner who prioritizes the business' goals and needs.
""Their technical competence and quality of output were impressive."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a consultant for an employee benefits software.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

The existing product we had was based on old legacy technology and was no longer meeting the needs of the market. We needed Future Processing to do a complete redesign and redevelopment.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Future Processing developed our new website based on the Microsoft Technology stack which was delivered within the Microsoft Cloud Platform. They worked alongside our in-house architecture, development, and product teams.

The team was involved in low-level design work as well as development, testing, and QA work. They were also involved in specific enhancements to the product.

What is the team composition?

There were over 30 resources.

How did you come to work with Future Processing?

They had been working for a number of years with us before we changed our name to Zest. We considered looking for other partners, but we felt they had the knowledge of the business and technical capabilities to score what we wanted to do. Overall, they were highly regarded.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent over $3.5 million.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement lasted from March 2015–February 2020.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

When new requirements arise, we will work with them again because we were very happy with their quality of work, technical capabilities, and overall support. It was a good partnership. The product itself has been highly successful in terms of market penetration.

Customers have migrated from the old product and new customers who have come on since have all been very happy with the product. It’s been the market leader within the employee benefits technology market. We’ve had extremely positive outcomes for the business. For example, we won an award last year for being the best technology provider in the sector.

How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint?

They provided development support but not project management specifically. The team provided agile scrum teams alongside our internal agile scrum teams. They were responsive to our needs, and we communicated via collaboration tools and conference video calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their technical competence and quality of output were impressive. Future Processing worked very hard on being a partner, and they were conscious of the role they played in the business. They made sure that they were working with us towards our objectives.

Are there any areas they could improve?

As a company, they had processes they needed to follow. There were some cases where we felt that their processes weren’t wholly responsive enough for what we do. That has nothing to do with the people, just the way they operate.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear about what you’re asking of them. Once they understand what you’re looking for, they’re a very constructive partner.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

Future Processing were highly recommended. We found them to be competitively priced with a wide breadth of experience in development and project management.

What was the team composition?

The team was lead by a project manager and we had a number of developers working on the project. The consistency of the project manager was key as they led throughout the development and this was vitally important to overall objective and making sure we hit the time lines that we were working to.

Nothing has been too much trouble and it has been executed well and professionally.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There is very little to be improved on as a whole the project has gone very well. If anything time frames could be more specific, however, we appreciate this is not always an exact science in software development.

"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the CTO of an award-winning customer relationship management (CRM) and internet marketing company based out of Indianapolis.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

We were looking to engage top quality software engineers from a company that had mature software development processes and experiences.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We view Future Processing not as a vendor that’s executing on a specific project but as a long-term partner. For this reason, different teams may engage in different types of projects.

Their team works on projects from building internal tools to improving the quality of our codebase to new feature development. Our development technologies are primarily C#, .NET, and Angular.

What is the team composition?

Currently, we work with one team of four individuals but expect to add several teams this year.

How did you come to work with Future Processing?

I targeted our search to central and eastern Europe because there’s a better time zone overlap and a strong engineering education in those areas. Based on the research and reviews that I read, Future Processing was an obvious choice. They had a great combination of a fantastic track record, reasonable rates, and top-notch staff.

How much have you invested with them?

We will have spent in excess of $100,000 this year.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in February 2020 and the partnership’s ongoing.

We communicate via video calls and Slack. They’re probably the best vendor that I’ve worked with at this company. Their team has a mature project management methodology. They go to great lengths to be flexible with their clients and make sure that they’re following best practices while also working within the context of the partnership.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I specifically sought a mature company that we could feel confident in assigning work to them and receive work to our standards. They’ve shown to be capable of completing work to our standards.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, nothing comes to mind at this point.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

As with any outsourced partner, set clear expectations and communicate details quickly. It’s also critical to give them access to any resources within your team to address questions.

**Feedback Summary**: Future Processing produced satisfying deliverables that facilitated the development of streamlined applications that generate positive user feedback and revenue. The team is straightforward with suggestions to encourage product improvements. They are committed, which leads to an ongoing partnership.
""Future Processing takes the same amount of pride in the outcome of a project as our internal team."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CTO of a healthcare technology firm.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

We had an internal strategic objective to develop a new suite of intuitive products. We wanted to consider the UI/UX carefully but didn’t have the expertise internally. We wanted to be able to scale our software development capacity as needed using an external resource.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Future Processing helped develop a style guide with a set of UX guidelines for us to apply to all of our projects moving forward. We worked with their UX team directly to develop the style guide. Their team came to the UK for a number of days to understand our business and our software users.

They also delivered a number of web applications to us. For one project, their team developed an application that deals with the brokerage of care packages in a cloud environment. At the moment, they’re helping to support and maintain our products, making small bug fixes and feature enhancements.

What is the team composition?

We engaged with 3-4 people primarily but worked with up to 15-20 people. The size of the team depends on where we are in our project roadmap and development lifecycle.

How did you come to work with Future Processing?

When I was with a different organization, I worked with Future Processing. I continued the relationship because of their deliverables and operations, which I knew would fit well with our workflows. There weren’t many other outsourced companies that offered the same range of services or had the same reputation as Future Processing.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent  £500,000—£1 million pounds (approximately $620,000—$1.25 million USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2016 and the engagement’s ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We developed a number of applications for customers using the style guide that Future Processing created. Customers find the applications intuitive and easy to use, so it requires little training to understand how to use them. The ultimate success metric is that a user can pick up our platforms and use them easily. That means that we’ve got our UX/UI right.

We haven’t had any high-priority issues with the web app. From day one, we’ve been able to onboard customers. We continue to onboard customers and generate revenue.

How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint?

Key stakeholders in the UK engage with Future Processing’s scrum teams and scrum master who leads their teams. During the development, we had daily standup meetings with them to understand how they progressed. We used Confluence, Microsoft Teams, and Skype for video conferencing.

Their team was proactive in raising the risk. If we asked them to complete a task but their team thought there was a better method, they highlighted their recommendations. We have a collaborative working relationship. It’s easy to communicate with them, which isn’t a quality that I found with past outsourced partners.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Future Processing takes the same amount of pride in the outcome of a project as our internal team. Their team approaches development with the same seriousness and dedication as us. They’re professional and dedicated to delivering the best that they can. It doesn’t feel like we’re working with an outsourcing company.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I haven't worked with a better outsourcing company.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Get them involved in the process early. Future Processing has a technical specialist team that can advise your early technical decisions based on their experiences. Keep your product owner close to your business but also make use of Future Processing’s proxy product owner. This means that Future Processing has a product owner to turn to if they have immediate questions that need to be answered about features and priorities.

""I was impressed that they reacted so quickly because they are quite a big software house."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I am founder of a startup company which aims to deliver mobile solutions for clients in the hospitality industry

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire Future Processing?

Mainly to develop mobile application using Flutter framework for Barrio. Barrio connects clients with restaurants making it more efficient to book and plan happy hour events.

What were your goals for this project?

Most important was to get to market as quickly as possible with early adopters. The second goal was aligned to show progress with investors who were interested in the project.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

Future processing was highly recommended from a former employee. They have high caliber talent and can deliver on dedicated timelines.

Describe the project in detail.

Once we decided to try this project with Future Processing, we had a video call describing the project goals and timeline. As a result, based on Future Processing's recommendations we created a backlog in Jira and BitBucket repository. For the development part we decided to hire two developers (mobile frontend part and backend) and used so called "test sprint" - we could decide after this sprint whether we are satisfied and if we wanted to continue development or we would move forward with another vendor. As we were happy with the progress, we decided to continue cooperation. We could say it was typical tie and material contract, 2 week sprints, regular video call and discussions on slack.

What was the team composition?

Product Owner and two developers on site

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Please note that this is confidential given the startup nature

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

As mentioned earlier, it was only one Product Owner on the site and two developers. Additionally we only checked code quality by one of the senior developers to make sure everything was fine.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

For us it was very important to start and deliver this project quickly. It wasn't the biggest project but we needed results quickly and we got it. I was impressed that they reacted so quickly because they are quite a big software house.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Hard to say at this stage. It was quick and small project and we are satisfied with the progress. In the next project we would expect more feedback from the vendor's site on our ideas and decisions.

**The Review** — Sep 27, 2019

**Feedback Summary**: The collaboration has allowed the internal team to meet deadlines and has reduced the number of bugs on the platform. Future Processing is adaptable and organized, adopting the preferred communication methods of the client. Their team is talented, transparent, and professional.
"“Future Processing is extremely committed to quality.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the managing director of service at Service Year Alliance, a national nonprofit that connects individuals looking to do a year of service with nonprofits and public organizations that have opportunities. I oversee our platform, the ongoing development team, and the internal team that does sales, user engagement, and customer support.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

Our platform was three years old and we were looking for a sustainable development partner to nurture and expand our platform. We wanted a team to work with us 50/50 on the maintenance and needs of the platform while developing new features in an iterative way.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Future Processing provides development and maintenance to our platform. The first few months involved transitioning from our old team to theirs, but since then we've been in sprints moving forward. We plan out our development priorities and refine our work together. Their team works in Django, JavaScript, and Python.

What is the team composition?

We work with a team of five from Future Processing. Four of them have been on their team since the beginning, including two developers, a QA engineer, and a team lead. We added a UI/UX   this summer. We interact directly with all members of the team on a daily basis.

How did you come to work with Future Processing?

We found them through a reference from a colleague. When we were looking to move to a new vendor we reached out to individuals to see who they were working with. After a series of proposals and scoring, we felt like Future Processing and their work approach would best augment what we were trying to do.

How much have you invested with them?

We have spent between $200,000–$250,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement with Future Processing began in October 2018.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Having their support has allowed our internal team to hit most of our deadlines. We have seen an increase in the quality of the development work. There are fewer user-facing bugs and issues. Our internal team has to do less cleanup work.

How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint?

Future Processing is extremely flexible about adapting to the project management tools that work best for us. Since we are a few years into the project, we had a system down and they were willing to joint that over starting over again.

Our teams communicate via video call every morning for scrum so we are face to face every day for at least 15 minutes. We also have a weekly refinement meeting over video. Our teams regularly communicate more informally through Slack and use Github for tickets that are in process.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Future Processing is extremely committed to quality. They make it work for the client and product. I have never had a sense that there is another agenda or interest at play. Their team will talk through our needs and see what we’re trying to accomplish. They offer different solutions but are always happy to run with what is best for us as an organization. It’s about putting the best product out there.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Now that we are further into a working partnership, we’ve reached a place where they’re incredibly transparent with us. It maybe took us a while to get to that honest place. Future Processing now feels as though they can offer critiques, which we appreciate. It would have been nice if we had gotten there faster.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

We are very process-oriented and have a lot of documentation. Our team gave Future Processing everything we thought they needed to understand our business goals and our product. They remarked on how no one had ever prepared so much documentation for them. I would recommend giving them all of the resources to read ahead of time so they can best offer suggestions and solutions.

**The Review** — Sep 25, 2019

**Feedback Summary**: Their solution-oriented approach and deployment of effective project management tools have supplemented a long-term partnership. The team is mindful of business goals and the bigger picture; when internal stakeholders propose ideas, they offer a thorough overview of all possible outcomes.
"“They are true development partners in that they make sure we’re achieving the goals we set out to achieve.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the chief product officer at GlobalGiving, a nonprofit that runs a crowdsourcing platform to connect other nonprofits in 170 countries around the world.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

We hired Future Processing to support a joint software development partnership project between ourselves and three other nonprofits. We needed a trusted partner to assist us in adding additional capacity above and beyond normal daily operations.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Future Processing developed a unique identifier system for nonprofit database coordination among our core organizations. They suggested and helped refine an architecture approach using AWS and a variety of technologies. They answered all of our technical questions as to how the system would work and ensured that the architecture supported our business workflows.

Since developing the system, they’ve continued to maintain it.

What is the team composition?

I came onto the project four years ago, so I’m not sure how many team members from Future Processing have been assigned to work on this project over the years. We’ve had at least 2–3 people assigned to us in the maintenance phase, and I believe we may have had a few more during the build phase.

How did you come to work with Future Processing?

One of the nonprofits on the project had worked with Future Processing in the past and suggested them. Our group vetted them along with a few other candidates before ultimately settling on Future Processing.

How much have you invested with them?

Over the full course of the engagement, we’ve spent $300,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

My company started working with Future Processing in early 2013, if not before that, and the partnership is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve always been impressed by the thoughtfulness and problem solving that they bring to making sure they achieve our business goals. They also the bigger picture in mind; if we ask them to do something, they don’t hesitate to point out potential ripple effects we hadn’t considered might negatively impact our AWS costs or other business functionalities.

They make sure we think through all of the implications. They’re not just a partner who’s going to blindly do whatever we say, regardless of the consequences, and then bill us to fix it later. They are true development partners in that they make sure we’re achieving the goals we set out to achieve.

How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint?

They perform very well in this regard. We use the Atlassian suite with Confluence and Jira to communicate about specific needs. We also have dedicated email support channels so that we can send requests and get status updates from them, easily going back and forth. My team can look at project plans and past incidents or work requests through a web portal, which has saved us a lot of time over the years.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’ve been most impressed by their ability to be a part of our development team and business planning.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, nothing in particular comes to mind.

Any advice for potential customers?

My advice would be generic in the sense that if you’re outsourcing, you need to make sure you’re providing as much context as possible. This will allow Future Processing to understand your business goals and create a solution for what you need, rather than the solution for what you say or think you need.

**The Review** — Sep 23, 2019

**Feedback Summary**: Future Processing continues to complete deliverables within set timeframes. The team maintains open lines of communication and manages resources effectively. Their extensive knowledge, coupled with their wealth of development talent, sets them apart from other providers.
""We’ve worked with them on a series of projects, and they're very good at hitting timelines and getting results."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the head of operations for Styles&Wood, a construction company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

The original brief was to deliver a modular property management system. That was completed in late 2017 and was very successful. Since then, we’ve engaged with them to support us through a number of migrations of our client base.

We had a legacy solution on ASP.NET that was based on pretty old technology. It was a package we had originally purchased and customized. We felt like it was time to change it, and we wanted to move to something that was much more modern in its look and feel.

We wanted to change it from being a one-size-fits-all product to being a more generic, modular system, where clients could pick and choose what they wanted to do. The goal was to create a solution that would provide our clients with a significant amount of configuration capabilities. This way, clients could tailor the solution to their business, despite it being an off-the-shelf SaaS product.

We had an in-house development team that was focused mainly on the legacy system, but we didn’t have access to a modern skills base. We needed a company that could provide modern techniques to give our product a much wider exposure.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They updated our software and designed the UI/UX of the platform. The development work is done using the Microsoft stack, specifically ASP.NET. They also leverage HTML5 and the Kendo forms loader.

We have some very large retail clients in the UK, and they’ve helped us migrate them over onto the new platform. Future Processing is also working with us to continuously enhance the product. We’ve consulted with them for two or three more additional modules, as well as a decision analytics integration.

Future Processing also manages our codebase and our release process, and they provide us with third line support for the product. We have a second line support desk based here in the UK, and they provide development support through their office in Poland.

What is the team composition?

The size of the team varied over the course of the engagement. There’s always been between 12–17 people. We have a dedicated team that includes a team lead, two business analysts, one solution architect, nine developers, and four test analysts.

How did you come to work with Future Processing?

We were looking for a technology partner who was operating in our space and could give us access to modern technologies. Future Processing was recommended by a couple of other contacts within the industry. They have a fairly significant footprint in the UK.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent £2.5 million (approximately $3 million USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2016 and the work is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve worked with them on a series of projects, and they're very good at hitting timelines and getting results.

How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint?

The original project was kicked off using Kanban. Since then, we’ve moved more into a Scrum hybrid that's not pure agile. We do quite a lot of requirement specifications.

They continue to perform incredibly well, especially at managing their own resources. We hold weekly meetings with them to make sure the sprint plan is effective and to keep them focused on our current priorities. We have shared access to Git libraries. They use Jira, and we use Azure DevOps.

These common tools help us manage the progress of the project. We also use Slack frequently. We work together closely and have an excellent working relationship.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most significant value add that they give us is access to a pretty substantial knowledge base. They have between 800–900 employees who work on a broad portfolio of projects across multiple sectors. There’s a constant supply of fresh talent coming through.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We sometimes struggle to get estimates out at a reasonable time. During the initial engagement, we were developing a completely new product from scratch, and there were no real pressures in terms of client demands. Now we work in an environment that is much more client-led.

Sometimes keeping our focus on the commercial aspect of what we’re trying to do can be a little bit challenging. It’s easy to spend time just thinking about the architecture of the solution. There are times when we need them to be a little quicker. It can be difficult when we’re managing budgets against clients and trying to keep the scope really tight.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You’ll get the most out of your engagement with them by making sure your team is invested in the project. If you work with them on an agile basis, you’ll need to buy into agile completely.

**The Review** — Aug 12, 2019

**Feedback Summary**: Future Processing adroitly leverages blockchain and business know-how to deliver an excellent product. Their team demonstrates an outstanding flexibility in providing a wide range of services. They’ve become a permanent fixture of the client’s organization through their value-adding capabilities.
"“Their team range truly speaks volumes about the company’s flexibility.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CTO and co-founder or Smart Valor, a Fintech start-up. It’s a digital assets platform that currently supports crypocurrencies and utility tokens. Our business is shifting towards the trading of security tokens in the stock exchange domain.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

We partner with Future Processing extensively for our product development and key account management. They’ve helped us bridge the gap between business and technology. There, we’ve found people who can handle the development and technical aspects of blockchain while still engaging in the business side of it.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They’ve developed the software for our product offering. At this point, we operate almost like a hybrid company as they’re engaged in almost all of our technological processes. Their UI/UX member implements wireframes, and my own team aligns our inputs with these before progressing into the development sprint.

In our collaboration, we’ve utilized multiple versions of AngularJS as well as Nodejs. The backend is primarily operated through Java. When it comes to DevOps, we host our platform on AWS.

On top of working with their senior developers and technical experts, their quality engineers execute the automation and manual testing of the product. Future Processing has even supported us with requirements engineering, which is the process of determining user expectations for a new product.

What is the team composition?

We’ve engaged with a full-scale matrix of a team. We started with technical experts, supported by senior, mid-level, and junior developers. We’ve worked with UI/UX experts as well as quality engineers and senior architects. We also had a Scrum master overlooking the work. Their team range truly speaks volumes about the company’s flexibility.

How did you come to work with Future Processing?

I worked with Future Processing with my former employer before I started my work at Smart Valor.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent over $1,000,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our cooperation began in October 2017, and we have an ongoing relationship that I hope will continue for a very long time. They’re a fixture of our organization.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our success with Future Processing is evident by just how extraordinary our platform currently looks. They’ve been a critical part of developing it.

How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint?

We would work within a Scrum framework, and their Scrum master was excellent to work with. Our project management was otherwise executed internally, so they were more focused on the technical delivery aspect. We used Slack, Jira, and Confluence to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I would especially highlight their expansive technical expertise which has provided us with outstanding security at all levels of our organization.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I believe that this is something they’re already working on, but we could potentially use more hands in managing our DevOps. They have the knowledge to bridge our system operations with our development but have too few people to leverage that expertise.

"“Our experience working with Future Processing has been very positive.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the IT manager at a human rights organization.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

We needed someone to support and develop our client database system.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Future Processing provides ongoing support of our system. Their developers resolve the issues and work on change requests that we submit as tickets. We’ve also engaged them in a couple of projects to develop the system further.

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked with a number of developers at Future Processing.

How did you come to work with Future Processing?

My predecessor chose them. One of the main reasons we decided to hire them was because they were the most cost-effective option, which is important for us as a charity.

How much have you invested with them?

On average, we spend about £25,000 (approximately $30,350 USD) each year. We have a support contract, and they bill us by the number of hours we engage them and the amount of change requests we submit.

What is the status of this engagement?

My company began working with Future Processing in July 2017, and the engagement is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The quality of their work is fantastic, and the level of customer service that they provide is also great.

How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve done very fine. We use a ticket system to submit system problems or change requests.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Our experience working with Future Processing has been very positive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re based in Poland, and we’ve experienced a language barrier with 1–2 developers who aren’t great at communicating in English. However, this isn’t a major problem.

Any advice for potential customers?

They're great. If you can find work that is suitable for them, then I’d certainly recommend Future Processing.

**The Review** — Jun 14, 2019

**Feedback Summary**: The platform boosted goods intake speeds by 40%, enhanced usability, and streamlined several internal processes. Responsive, client-centric, and committed to understanding requirements, Future Processing exceeded expectations in their timely delivery of a bespoke, high-quality product.
"“The platform that Future Processing developed has revolutionized what we do across many aspects.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the national development manager for FareShare, a food and logistics charity. We redistribute surplus food to charities and community groups across the UK.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

My organization needed a bespoke stock control and logistics platform. Unlike other logistics and retail companies, we often don’t know what inventory we’re going to receive in advance, so we needed the platform to be flexible. Also, we needed a modular system so that we could train volunteers of varying IT skill levels on different modules, without having to provide training on the entire system. Finally, we wanted the platform to store information on our beneficiary organizations and provide impact reporting.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

My organization provided Future Processing with a storyboard that laid out what we needed the platform to accomplish and what functions we wanted to include. Future Processing’s UX team visited from Poland and spoke with our volunteers and warehouse staff so that they could design the most user-friendly frontend. Then, they designed and developed a custom, web-based, modular platform hosted on AWS. The platform is essentially a database. Future Processing built 7–8 different modules, one of which is a goods-in module that logs stock as it comes into our warehouses. They also created an inventory management module that allows us to check stock or change product type.

What is the team composition?

We worked with Future Processing’s main development team, which consisted of around six team members. My team interfaced with a project lead and the UI team lead.

How did you come to work with Future Processing?

We considered an external consultant and several software houses. After narrowing our selection down to three vendors, we chose Future Processing based on their ability to meet our price, design, and support needs.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project spanned December 2015–April 2017, when the platform went live.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The platform that Future Processing developed has revolutionized what we do across many aspects. The platform is web-based but also works on mobile, which is very useful because it enables warehouses to use tablets and thereby reduce paper usage. Because we’ve been able to train more of our volunteers to use this user-friendly, intuitive, and clean platform, our processing speeds have significantly increased. Additionally, the goods-in module increased the rate at which we log goods into warehouses by 40%.

We’ve streamlined all of our processes, including inventory management, food allocation, and report and data generation. Having such detailed reporting allows us to serve our users better; for instance, knowing the impact that one of our organizations has allows us to know how much food to send them.

How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint?

We were initially worried that the language barrier would impact communication, but their English language skills were second-to-none. Our teams worked well together. Future Processing provided quick response times and visibility into what they were doing, and they resolved issues quickly.

Their team was also very receptive to feedback. When they built the goods-in module, they taught us how to use it and had us test it with our users. Then, they implemented any feedback we provided, tailoring the platform to our user base. The project was on time and budget.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Future Processing cared about what we did as a company, which is why they sent a team from Poland to spend a few days in our warehouses. This allowed them to understand our processes and see the nuances of our work. It’s rare for coders to visit a company to investigate the core business, and we certainly didn’t expect this level of interaction. They were committed to delivering a system that met our needs in terms of increasing capacity, usability, and processing times. The attention they paid us as a client was impressive. They not only met every deadline but also exceeded our expectations in terms of the quality of the platform.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of any. We’re still very pleased with their work, and we continue to interact with them a lot.

**The Review** — Apr 29, 2019

**Feedback Summary**: Future Processing augmented the internal dev team, supplying skilled developers to fill the technical gaps. The team is communicative and friendly, willing to work on any tasks assigned to them. They could offer more fixed-price services, but the partnership has still been outstanding.
"“They’re dedicated and honest, caring about our success and always offering fair prices.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the senior director and portfolio manager for a nonprofit social enterprise. We work with charities to bring them resources like technology, money, and discounters. We help them build the networks that enable nonprofits to make their impact.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

We needed a partner to build out our platforms that we use in the U.S. to make them more compatible with our partners around the globe. At the time, we didn’t have the internal technology or capability to accomplish such a goal.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Future Processing mainly works on our online tools, connecting to data stores on the backend that enable us to foster the connections that our nonprofit partners can make. For example, the platform provides nonprofits with electronic tokens, which our donor organizations accept as validation to provide them with donations or discounted offers. Typically, we develop the headline architecture and vision of a project, and then they built it. They use a variety of different tech stacks, depending on the project. They’ve also worked on large-scale directories that list all the nonprofits in a country in order to drive registration and make them more transparent and visible to the public and other countries who want to get involved.

What is the team composition?

I interact with a lead developer, who has a team of eight people.

How did you come to work with Future Processing?

A partner referred them.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership with them has been going since 2009.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They filled certain capacity gaps while we built our internal team, complementing our weak spots.

How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint?

They meet our needs and are flexible with the kinds of tasks they’re willing to work on. They have good, clear communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re dedicated and honest, caring about our success and always offering fair prices. They do their best to work around communication concerns that arise from being in a different time zone.

Are there any areas they could improve?

If they want to build long-standing, trusting relationships, then they should start to offer more fixed-price services. For example, they’ve begun to build up their service team.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Have a clear scope, outline your needs upfront, and maintain reliable and frequent communication.

**The Review** — Mar 12, 2019

**Feedback Summary**: The platform has received positive feedback from internal stakeholders for its user-friendly design and functionality. Innovative and effective, Future Processing is a proactive partner. They create value with a collaborative approach and timely work.
""The team is cutting-edge in their space and takes ownership of their work."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the director of development for a software provider in the workforce management space. A medium-sized company in a larger group, we are based in the UK and have international clients.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

Future Processing is our primary development partner. They augment our internal development team for multiple projects.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

The team is building out our platform’s functional capability and technical architecture. Services for the full-stack development include testing, architectural design, and implementations. Predominantly, they are building on top of existing code for this piece of software; our team had the core functionality and original architecture in place at the start of the project.

What is the team composition?

The team comprises about 20 people including an account manager and team lead. The former handles the business side while the latter runs the day-to-day operations. There are also sub-team leads, lead developers, and then developers and QA specialists within each team.

How much have you invested with them?

We currently spend approximately £700,000 ($929,642 USD) per year.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Future Processing 6–7 years ago, but this project began in 2016. The partnership is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Future Processing implements changes quickly and delivers quality work. The code is well architected and structured. Internal stakeholders find the functionalities user-friendly. We track progress via the user stories and backlogs.

How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint?

The team works in scrum. We use the Visual Studio Team Foundation Server. The product owner manages the backlog and the team executes on each item that’s tracked in the repository.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Future Processing is as effective as I would expect an internal team to be. Previous outsourcers have only acted on our functional specifications and design documentation. But with Future Processing, we experience an engaged partnership. This relationship enables us to express our vision and objectives while the team collaborates on design.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, the staff is proactive and responsible. However, Future Processing does allow their staff to move from one project to another. That setup makes it harder to keep workers sustained on less interesting projects, such as those with technical data or legacy technologies. They may not be the best outsourcing solution for grunt work.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The team is cutting-edge in their space and takes ownership of their work. I highly recommend hiring them because they ensure proper partnerships.

**The Review** — Jan 11, 2019

**Feedback Summary**: The updated platform launched and received praise from stakeholders. Future Processing provides high-level and specialized expertise to supplement an in-house team. They deliver top-notch products and provide frequent updates on a regular basis. Customers can expect a reliable and responsive team.
""Future Processing offers an in-depth knowledge pool that has been invaluable to us."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CTO at Demica. We provide a fintech SaaS platform used by major banks to provide working capital to businesses.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

We engaged Future Processing to replatform our SaaS platform–written in Visual Basic 6 (VB6)–using newer technologies.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

The project was unusual because we didn’t want a like-for-life solution. Future Processing designed and architected the software from its UX experience to its structure and codebase. The team built the system using agile practices. They also worked closely with me to determine the technical architecture and how it needed to interact with existing services.

The SaaS platform now uses microservices. Future Processing wrote the code in Java with an AngularJS user interface.

What is the team composition?

We first worked with a small team comprising a project manager and four designers. As the project progress, Future Processing assigned us a business analyst, a technical architect, and four people devoted to QA. The team has now grown to 45 people.

How did you come to work with Future Processing?

We were searching for a Java development partner. Onshore vendors fell outside our budget, so we looked into two nearshore firms in Poland. They each came back with proposals, and Future Processing offered the best plan.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $1 million–$5 million so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in July 2018, and the partnership is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve started using the updated platform and demonstrating it to large, multinational banks in Europe. It’s received very positive feedback so far. Future Processing gave us the scalability we were looking for. We’ve engaged their team as a long-term development partner going forward. They developed a rearchitected system rapidly and supplemented our internal team with specialist skills.

How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint?

We’re highly satisfied with their communication, documentation, and overall responsiveness. We visit them every six weeks for workshops. Our in-house project manager interfaces with their project manager regularly, and I have weekly calls with their business analyst. We collaborate via Slack and Jira.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Future Processing offers an in-depth knowledge pool that has been invaluable to us. They supplement our team’s development project and specializations.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nothing comes to mind. We’re highly satisfied with their work.

Any advice for potential customers?

We’ve found it helpful to have a proxy project owner on both our team and theirs. I serve as project owner on my side and interact directly with someone who acts a subject matter expert on the Future Processing team. This process streamlines our communication.

**Feedback Summary**: Future Processing’s development established a platform on which to build long-term success. Delivering on time and on budget, their highly-skilled staff have integrated well with the team. They’re dedicated to both successful products and to achieving greater business objectives.
"“They’re some of the most knowledgeable developers I've ever worked with.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the product director for a medical consultancy and software firm.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

We’re a young company and wanted to mature some of our platforms and products by moving them to software form. We wanted to develop a web application from a commercial product that supports business planning for healthcare services.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Future Processing built our web application from scratch. It was full Microsoft stack development using SQL Server and Azure for databases and storage. It has AngularJS on the frontend. They built a web API using Cervalis. We discussed the best technologies to use and decided together.

What is the team composition?

It varies across the project but we generally work with eight people including two QAs, four senior developers, and a team leader.

How did you come to work with Future Processing?

We looked at a range of companies that could meet our software requirements. We searched online and via Clutch, and received some word-of-mouth referrals. Based on our criteria—including cost, aptitude, technology use, and people—Future Processing came out on top.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2017 and it’s ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

had a positive impact on the company in terms of our outlook. They’ve given us a platform to build on. They work in a way that ensures anyone can potentially pick up the project at any time; the product is completely independent and they don’t lock you into their firm. That means we have a full-fledged platform that we can build on as a firm. We’re also starting to mature other products.

How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint?

They offer an option to run the team for your independently but we chose a model that has me run the team. We use Jira and they’re top-notch with communication and responsiveness as well as documentation. It's been a very positive experience overall. In the first stage of the project to get to MVP, they successfully finished on time, to budget and with the required feature set complete. That’s quite unique.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The first thing that stands out to me is the quality of the individuals in the team. They’re some of the most knowledgeable developers I've ever worked with. They have the aptitude to ensure the project’s success. They care about the success of the product but also of the company. They feel integrated into our team and have a stake in it. They have a genuine interest in building something that will meet our goals.

There’s also a personal element. It’s not with some other firms where you have no idea who’s developing your software and hardly ever see them. I know each and every member of the team very well. That’s the biggest thing for me.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’ve asked me this themselves and I don’t have much to say on it. It took us a lot of work to get the contract in place so that could be one thing they might improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t go to them with a packaged product. Instead, use their BA and UI teams, which are very strong. They’ll be able to help you identify your actual requirements, which might be different from what you think.

- Review Type: Phone Interview

**The Review** — Jul 17, 2015

**Feedback Summary**: Over a relationship of one and a half years, none of Future Processing's projects have failed to exceed expectations. The team's main strengths were their rigorous quality assurance procedure, their business acumen, and their intelligent allocation of team resources.
""Their QA department and methodology is one of the best I've seen.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your organization.

We work in business development. We help companies find service providers like Future Processing, for example.

What is your position?

I am the founder of the company. In most cases, I'm also the project manager from the client's side while also managing the business development side of the project.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What business challenge were you trying to address with Future Processing?

One of the first projects we did with them was a custom software project. A company wanted to develop new business-to-consumer software.

We looked around for a company of a certain size. Our experience is that the bigger the company, the better it usually is at internal training of the staff, and holding boot camps. Future Processing confirmed to us that this was something they did a lot, actually. I have seen few companies be that active in internal boot camping. They really keep their staff well trained. Also, we wanted somebody who had a very clear image of project methodology, and how to manage an IT [information technology] project, and how to set roles and expectations. Mainly for those reasons, we chose Future Processing at that time.

**SOLUTION**
Please describe the scope of their involvement in detail.

Future Processing was in charge of deciding which platform and technology we would use for the project and they decided on a PHP-based solution. This was something that scared the more conservative individuals among us because we thought PHP was a hobby thing that you would do in your room, and that you needed Java or .NET to think bigger or create more sustainable structures. Future Processing did a very good job convincing us that PHP had grown since we last updated ourselves.

We have expanded the scope of their involvement to include several mobile projects. They developed both a mobile front-end and then a dynamic back-end. They've used several technologies in the back-end. We've also done a couple e-commerce projects. The mobile projects were for iOS, Android, and mobile Web.

For the very first project, we brought our own designer. What we saw was that when Future Processing started doing testing with their internal UX [user experience] team, we got very good input. The UX/UI [user interface] bit has really impressed me, more than I thought it would from the beginning.

How did you come to work with Future Processing?

Our researcher came up with a list of potential development companies. We knew we wanted to go east to save money. I have done a tremendous amount of outsourcing projects, so I knew back then that the cultural aspect is vital for project success. For this reason, Poland, with its mix of informal flexibility and also the German work ethic and precision, appealed to me. Based on that, they came up with a shortlist of Polish partners. From that shortlist, Future Processing stood out in every way, in terms of their size as well as other things.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

I would estimate it to be a €1.5 million [approximately $1.6 million] investment so far, and growing.

What is the status of this engagement?

The relationship is very much ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

The biggest project we've done there reached about 2,200 story points [Scrum methodology for establishing milestones], and it's still going on. That is during about 18 months of development, with a five-person team. I can't fish out an accurate number of projects we've done with them at the moment. Each and every project has been a success, though.

How did Future Processing perform from a project management standpoint?

We were assigned a project manager in addition to several developers. The team project manager is responsible for documentation. Sometimes we will bring in a QA [quality assurance] specialist or somebody from business analysis if they have a backlog because we find that they handle that way better than us or the client. Their QA department and methodology is one of the best I've seen. QAs can be a pain in the back sometimes, but they have really brought our projects forward.

What distinguishes Future Processing from other providers?

They're really proud of the strength and talent of their QA. I think that what makes Future Processing unique is how they're doing internal QA conferences, and how they keep honing their model of how to integrate more effective QA into their core development team.

In hindsight, are there areas in which they could improve, or things you might do differently?

I felt that they did not have a good model for price estimations. It's difficult to estimate a project that is supposed to be agile, but we saw that, sometimes, they would use a team for estimating the project and then the project would be sent to another team. This caused a lot of frustration, because the estimates were way off. Sometimes, it would say 56 man-days, and it turned out to be more than 100. They are getting better now. One of their ways of solving the problem is to force the customer to do a pre-project.

## Portfolio & Awards

### TrustMark
TrustMark was looking for an IT partner to introduce new functionalities of the service and to make changes in the API interface.
After the first tests and the complete takeover of the project, we recreated the service, fixed bugs and planned the live product migration outside the UK business hours.
Time pressure was of great importance in this project – most of the scope (up to live migration) had to happen in 20 days. Our experience with Cloud (Azure) and reliable collaboration during the Design phase resulted in discussing a technology partnership – new functionalities of the service, API changes, and migration of the entire infrastructure to a new Azure subscription.

### ITV
Future Processing and ITV forces joined together to develop a new major iteration of the Planet V ad management platform.
We have provided two cross-functional development teams to collaborate with another two ITV teams using a common backlog. It means we have worked as a single product team without partitioning responsibility around the platform’s architecture, modules, or components. Product, UX, and Platform teams are also part of the client’s team.
The pilot version of the new Planet V was launched on 14 November 2022, allowing the first users to test and give feedback on the platform. Further development continues in 2023.
Right from the start ITV was very keen to promote a one-team approach and culture. The whole team has been incredibly successful in achieving this and the client has a great perception of the Future Processing team.

### Cambridge University Press
As the oldest university press in the world, Cambridge University Press is committed to sharing knowledge as widely as possible across the globe.
Cambridge University Press (the Press) is the academic publishing group of Cambridge University Press & Assessment.

A need to drive innovation
In January 2020, the Press approached us to help grow the capabilities of its Academic technology team, in particular to boost its capabilities in managing advanced software development and in developing its enhanced digital products. It was also looking for an experienced, expert advisor that was not afraid to suggest alternative ways of doing things.

Our role
Over time, Future Processing’s experts became a strong voice in changing current systems and designing new ones.
Together, we are exploring new fields and technologies where we can collaborate, like Site Reliability Engineering or User Experience Design.
The team of Future Processing’s engineers continues to support and develop the processes and coding for the different platforms to ensure they remain fully responsive, stable, and intuitive, improving user experience.

Benefits of our partnership
The Press’s ability to meet the changing needs of customers and the requirements of the fast-paced digital world depends on its new products and services.
Working closely with Future Processing has helped the Press to bring its ideas to life, creating and enhancing platforms that are specially crafted to its unique mission and changing customer demands.
The Press has also benefited from new expertise, with the team offering specialist advice throughout the course of different projects.
Future Processing brought a host of technical skills to the table – as industry experts, they helped the Press to make the most of opportunities emerging from software development, advanced software development and improved search engines.

### Demica
Demica partnered with us, initially with a requirements engineering process, to identify the needs of new functionality and propose the best technology solution. We created an infrastructure to demonstrate how the software would work, before rolling out various phases of the solution, step by step.
Through a close partnership between our and Demica’s internal development teams, the platform has been enhanced with an improved architecture that enables over 20 million invoices to be processed each day, as it scales both horizontally and vertically.
Advanced rules engine algorithms drive preferred outcomes, such as higher advance rates or optimal risk distribution outcomes. While a significantly improved graphical user interface reduces transaction implementation time from weeks to hours.
The operational agility allows Demica to rapidly scale the team up and down and quickly respond to the client's demands, setting the company apart from its competition in the working capital finance market.
One of the key benefits was allowing Demica access to specialists with competencies going beyond software development e.g. experienced Security Engineers, Technical Consultants, Data Engineers and Business Analysts.

### Adia
At the beginning of our collaboration, we conducted a series of workshops to gather requirements and design the best possible solution for our client’s business reality. Our recommendations and ideas were well received, and as a result, the project started after successfully transitioning from their previous software supplier. The idea was to clean up and stabilise the existing system and digitally transform it through redesigning existing processes and refactoring the code.
We have taken on the responsibility of supporting and upgrading the legacy solution from one, monolithic application into cloud-based microservices. We also added automated testing and deployment to the process to further optimise the functionalities.  Moreover, we work on quarterly and annual roadmaps for delivering new functionalities and adjustments. Another of our present goals is to re-write and upgrade Adia’s mobile application.
As an HR company, Adia operates dynamically, and our collaboration is based on flexibility and a constant flow of information to ensure the highest possible value of the project. We work together with Adia’s onsite Product Teams on the new features design, architecture, and upgrading the main system to ensure its robustness. Together, we compose a proactive team of experts, who meet regularly, take part in regular discovery workshops and share similar working culture.

### Nexteer Automotive
Nexteer’s long-term goal was to undergo a full digital transformation within the Prototype Operations part of the company and thus optimize its performance, saving time and eliminating potential waste.
They noticed that their processes, applications, and databases had become antiquated and because of the specialized work that has to be done with the prototypes, none of the existing off-the-shelf systems were able to fulfill their specific requirements. The best possible solution for Nexteer was to create a new, bespoke, and flexible system consisting of integrated modules.
Nexteer’s plan was to become a paperless facility with fully integrated systems. The complexity of both updating existing applications as well as creating brand new systems was beyond the ability of their in-house developers. We started our collaboration in 2017 and through the years we conducted meaningful analyses and UX audits to gather requirements, prepare UX guidelines, and fully understand the business processes behind the requests.
We continually advised on the solutions and how to extract value from existing data, proactively proposing alternative solutions. Our partnership ultimately led to the development and implementation of the PFC and COS systems that are now used globally at Nexteer’s prototype facilities.

### Volkswagen Group
Our task was to audit seven applications provided by an external company in the following areas:

code readability audit,
components audit for used licenses,
component audit for updates and security.

In order to be best prepared for the audit, we visited our client to get to know the business background of the product and to make a preliminary code review.
The audit’s goal was to verify the systems in terms of widely understood IT security.
Conducting the audit did not interfere with the daily work of VGP employees and was carried out on time and tailored to client’s needs thanks to regular teleconferences.
We also shared recommendations regarding possible technical and procedural improvements and VGP has gained a technical consultant who will help in making decisions regarding their key systems.
The value for the client was visible after three weeks of cooperation.

### Coconet
Our role was to design and develop the desktop version of the MULTIVERSA Token – an app-based security token to enable secure authentication and authorisation of financial transactions with a smartphone.
We started with a rough requirements specification prepared by CoCoNet. We worked out specific requirements, designed the architecture of the system, proposed technologies and security measures, and did the development work and testing.
The application’s technical and security side has been extremely complex and demanding. The technologies we chose included Electron (the app was written using React with TypeScript) and a number of cryptographic algorithms.
We served as software development partners and technical experts who reacted quickly and flexibly to the short timeline and the strong requirements.
CoCoNet’s bank clients can now offer their corporate customers a convenient and secure token solution to authenticate and authorise financial operations through desktops.

### Tauron
TAURON Dystrybucja searched for a partner to carry out a project which consisted in designing, building, testing, and implementing a system which enabled advanced analytics for large sets of data gathered on the basis of smart metering infrastructure to support the business processes of the DSOs.
The first stage of the project was installation of 400,000 smart meters (AMI) in the area of Smart City Wrocław. The objective of the applied solutions was to ensure scalability and flexible architecture. It served as the first milestone in the company-wide deployment.
As part of the project, we also designed the processes of data gathering, storage, processing, and presentation, the application of the cloud technology, and the architecture and integration with the source system as well as the implementation of mathematical models, analyses, and visualisation tools.
In order to meet the client’s business requirements, we used the latest technologies, including machine learning, cloud computing, and big data.
The introduced solution increased transparency to optimise low- and medium-voltage grid management by analysing data collected from smart meters, balancing meters, dispatch systems, and grid assets. The tool combines the newest technological solutions, advanced algorithms, and domain knowledge.

### Connects
CONNECTS is an online Business Matchmaking Platform that allows entrepreneurs to initiate trustworthy business opportunities worldwide.
The company believes strong business relationships can only be developed through trusted networks.

Supporting sustainable development
To open more networking opportunities to the users of this unique platform, CONNECTS approached us with a twofold challenge.
First, the company needed to migrate the platform to a newer version of the Symphony framework and PHP, to ensure secure and sustainable development of the service as the previous framework was no longer to be supported.
Second, they needed to extend the functionality of the platform to deliver new modules to their clients within the agreed timescale.

A new CONNECTS module
We developed the Communities module, which enables users to join online communities to connect, do business, and exchange information and ideas with other entrepreneurs. The module was based on the code of an existing functionality enhanced with additional features.
Apart from development work, we helped CONNECTS automate quality testing and part of the deployment process.

We add value - Supporting business vision
Despite some initial challenges in the cooperation between Future Processing and CONNECTS’ development teams, we communicated very well on the management level. As a result, together, we managed to turn things around and deliver a fully functioning Communities module within the agreed timescale.
Through our cooperation, CONNECTS achieved their business goal of being able to offer their clients a new opportunity to develop relationships, cooperate and share expertise.
The new module is crucial in the pandemic times, as being a part of an online business network means new business, sales, and investment possibilities for CONNECTS clients.

### Flowbird
Our cooperation started in 2008 and since then we grew from an initially small team to the position where we are now supporting various business units in Flowbird.
In the course of our cooperation, our interdisciplinary delivery teams have developed and enhanced software for a span of platforms, from embedded software on Flowbird’s devices, to back-office systems.
Some of our projects included solutions helping bus, rail, tram and ferry operators to optimise their efficiency through automatic fare collection platforms, fleet management systems, hosted back offices and real time information technology:

there are around 10,000 buses in the UK equipped with Flowbird machines which contain software components developed by Future Processing,
5,000 buses in Sydney are equipped with Flowbird’s Bus Driver Console running on software which also includes components developed by us,
we also worked on a project supplying the ticketing system as part of prestigious citywide scheme for Helsinki, including driver consoles, ticket validators, ticket vending machines, inspection devices and a comprehensive back office system.

Flowbird also wanted to develop the solution using new technologies and architecture, to offer the most technologically advanced, customisable solutions to customers.
We are now the key partner of Flowbird, providing a significant software development capability. Flowbird has delivered solutions using a range of technologies, in order to meet the needs of their clients.

### Ista
The company was looking for a partner who would deliver a web portal for the analysis of utility consumption data for property managers. The portal needed to be user-friendly, had to integrate with other systems and had to have the ability to run detailed reports.
Our role was to create a bespoke solution from scratch. We started off with the Analysis & Design phrase, UX consultation and proceeded with development with constant input from our UX colleagues. The ista Property Manager Portal (iPMP) was rolled out to Italy in January 2017.
ista now has a corporate solution that has been custom-built and therefore perfectly meets the needs of their target market.
The iPMP we created is a web portal that allows users for detailed reporting of utilities used in buildings they oversee. Beyond a standard reporting of usage, users can now monitor trends over time and compare levels of utility use between different apartments, or follow structural changes to the building. This allows for a better control of usage and for a reduction of losses which supports the green attitude of ista towards the environment.

### Blis
Blis is the leading privacy-first, location-powered programmatic advertising partner.
Established in the UK in 2004, Blis helps the world’s largest brands and media agencies drive key business outcomes through personalised and high-performing digital advertising across all verticals.

Surviving the data drought
As a result of GDPR and the Privacy-First trend, many brands trying to reach their audiences are now facing an impending data drought. This has led Blis to come up with a way to alleviate the problem for their customers through an aggregated and anonymised approach to data. And, to accelerate time-to-market, Blis enlisted an external partner to implement their solution.
The client was looking to work with a team that was not afraid of challenging their ideas in the name of finding a better solution. Blis found a partner like this in Future Processing.

Benefits of our partnership
Blis now has a dedicated team of frontend and backend developers who helped create one of its platforms from scratch. We proposed the architecture and are now working on development in a predictable and high-quality manner.
Thanks to the platform, Blis is now able to deliver crucial insights to its customers, major brand advertisers, on where to invest their money.
The development team works in Kanban and runs detailed estimation techniques for stories. This means they are able to estimate the time a story will take from the beginning of development work through to release. This gives Blis high predictability of delivery.
Also, through continuous delivery activities such as automatic deployment, Blis can see the daily progress of development work.

### Crédit Agricole
Crédit Agricole Bank Poland is a part of one of the biggest and most stable financial groups in Europe which serves 52 million customers in 49 countries. Customer focus, accountability and community support are enduring values that have been its hallmark for 120 years. Led by its 139,000 engaged employees, the bank forges genuine partnerships with its customers.
The collaboration between Crédit Agricole and Future Processing began in 2018 when Credit Agricole was looking for a business partner in the FinTech area.
We are working on the development of an application supporting the internal processes at the bank, with a modern, user-friendly, high-quality interface.
From the very beginning, we have been cooperating closely with Unicorns Innovation Lab – a department responsible for implementing innovation and testing new technologies and approaches.

### Valeo
Future Processing started cooperation with Valeo Electric and Electronic Systems which belongs to the Thermal Systems and Powertrain Systems Business Groups and is based in southern Poland.
We were tasked with conducting analysis and providing a specification for a brand new, internal system that will be used by Valeo employees all over Europe.
The specification document was based on knowledge gathered during two series of workshops that took place in France, in the physical location where several processes crucial to the system are conducted, and in Poland where the new solution concept was discussed and developed.
Knowledge acquired during these workshops, with constant input from the main stakeholders, was the basis for designing a solution answering both the business’ and the end-users’ needs.
The aim of the requirements engineering phase was to support the ongoing business process with new, efficient solutions designed from scratch to improve it, but also ensure that they respect good practices that have been developed over the years.

### Allocate
Our cooperation started in 2011 when Allocate Software wanted to develop and launch a new module for one of their products.
Architects for Allocate and Future Processing held a workshop at the beginning of each project to design the solution from the very beginning.
It was then estimated and developed using a very collaborative process that ensured the product was delivered on time to a very high level of quality.
Allocate achieved significant cost-savings, compared to UK prices, much shorter time to market and more flexibility in resource allocation without losing on quality.
Some of the projects we delivered:

eRoster – application for doctors’ time management, integrated with Outlook
E360 – a web application, which helps to manage the periodic assessment of doctors
a service used to send text messages to nurses informing them of available additional shifts within their hospital

Over the years we acquired a lot of knowledge about Allocate and their needs. Having learned that, we have domain contribution and we can propose improvements.
Together with the client, we think of what to do to help them achieve what they really want. We are trusted when it comes to offering solutions and refining requirements.

### Altiweb AS
Altiweb AS is a Norwegian IT company with extensive knowledge and experience when it comes to creating apps adapted to all platforms.
The company specialises in responsive design, so while visiting any website from a mobile device, a customised page will appear with the functionality the user wants to see.

Our role
We formed a small team responsible for the development of a simple iOS application. Over time, we got to deliver more and more projects, and finally, we have become an important part of Altiweb’s business. Our main role is to develop mobile applications for various branches of the Norwegian IT market.
We took care of the backlog of work that Altiweb was struggling with, allowing the company to focus on their main business. We have also helped Altiweb make the most of their company’s budget and resources, helping them to implement their ideas.

Mobile applications
In the course of our partnership, we worked on a number of development projects, ranging from those intended for high school students, an app designed for Norwegian trade unionists, an app designed to allow climbers in Norway to get detailed information on local mountain ranges, through to an application that helps managing work in the shop, made for COOP supermarket chain, operating in the Nordic countries.

The most recent project we are working on is GENEAFILES which will automatically look for ancestors and suggest people to add to your family tree, after gathering required information.

### Steamship Mutual
Steamship Mutual is one of the largest and most diverse Protection and Indemnity (P&I) Clubs in the world, and a member of the International Group of P&I Clubs participating in the International Group Pool.
Steamship Mutual and Future Processing have been working together since 2008 on a range of projects.

Mobile application
We created a bespoke Android application that provides details on law regulations behind the functioning of P&I Clubs.
Users are also provided with the current profile and financial situation of the club as well as contact details and correspondence for staff.
The app, available for most Android and iOS devices, is aimed at ship owners, charterers, brokers, lawyers, surveyors and anyone interested in maritime affairs.
It makes Steamships’ day-to-day work easier, since all the necessary information is just a click away, instantly available, regardless of location.

Main benefits of our partnership
We are proud to have eliminated Steamship’s risk of not being able to maintain their core systems and ensured the continuity of their business during migration.
We successfully migrated all data, resulting in easy to maintain and upgrade .NET applications that gave Steamship Mutual a chance for further development of their business.
What’s more, the new functionality that our team added enables users to automate more tasks and complete critical business processes a lot quicker.
We have become a near extension to Steamship Mutual’s own IT department and continue supporting them successfully, advising on introducing new features, updating software and adjusting it to law changes.

### The Linde Group
The reason for The Linde Group to start looking for a new IT partner was to become flexible and to gain full control of its systems and processes which would enable entrepreneurial business building.
Initially, our role was to create custom modules that would become integrated with the existing off-the-shelf solution, targeting a hybrid organisation.
Our team performed the analysis of user’s needs and business processes – they tried out the BeeZero® car experience themselves, spoke to its users and looked into each process at a time.
The team also prepared product backlog in form of user stories and user story maps and created all necessary mock-ups, diagrams and documentation.
We started with the development of the new system with a goal for the switchover within a tight timeframe of less than 4 months.
The final product of all this was a concept for the BeeZero® bespoke carsharing management system consisting of the back office portal, the BeeZero.com website and iOS and Android mobile apps for customers.

### KMD
We first started working with KMD in 2012 when KMD was looking for an outsourcing partner to handle their overhead of work and needed to increase the size of their in-house teams, we have provided the necessary skills and competencies.
Considering the scale of the cooperation, we were given the opportunity to work on many projects, for different branches:

Public sector Online and secure digital mailbox allowing citicens in Denmark, Norway and Sweden to correspond in an official manner
Education sector Re-engineering a legacy system responsible for managing registration of children to day cares, calculation of payments for citizens, etc.
Medical Care sector A solution aimed at home care and home nursing system.
Employment sector A project for employment offices in Denmark.

On a daily basis, we add new functionalities, in order to improve user experience. Solaris Bus & Coach S.A. is one of the leading European bus and trolleybus manufacturers.
Benefiting from almost 25 years of experience and having manufactured more than 20,000 vehicles, Solaris positively influences the quality of transport in hundreds of cities across Europe every day.
Thinking of the future, the firm is setting new standards by dynamically developing its products, in particular in the electromobility sector.

What the client needed
Our task was to run a complex audit of a software solution provided to Solaris by an external company. The whole system manages infrastructure available in buses and trolleybuses of Polish production.
We evaluated the overall quality of the solution, implemented development processes and system’s security basing on our internal good practices of software development. The team engaged in this project was tailored to the client’s needs in terms of its size and competencies. We also provided Solaris with experts in cybersecurity, licenses and technical advisor.

Main benefits of our partnership

• Report from the audit along with the evaluation of software and processes.
• Collaboration with highly specialised engineers and exchange of know-how.
• Possibility to increase the quality of the system that is implemented in means of public transport.
• A thorough audit carried out on time and tailored to the client’s needs.

### Ipoteka AG
Through a close partnership with Ipoteka, we delivered the system’s first module allowing to compare various mortgage offers as well as a functional prototype of the other innovative feature meant for the banks to strengthen their collaboration.
Right now, we continue working on the improvements in the main solution and we are preparing for a go-live, after which our client will be able to officially kick-start their start-up’s business activity.

### NorthStandard
The most important task was to develop a core management system that supports the business for our client, enabling the end users to work on great amounts of data.
The dedicated system covers key business processes and integrations with third party service providers. Data cleaning and data migration were also necessary for the system to be fully operational and to improve cost management.
NorthStandard’s new system went live smoothly in September 2022, and right now our expert development teams focus on delivering the refinements and additional functionalities according to the end users’ feedback.

### Commonly Asked Questions

**What makes Future Processing different from other IT companies?**
Future Processing is a tech strategy advisor and delivery partner with 25+ years of experience. Through a consulting mindset and domain expertise in insurance, finance, media, and energy, we turn business ambitions into measurable results. We operate through a unique, AI-enabled advisory and delivery framework. Our solutions are built on clients' technology and data foundations, maintaining high standards of quality, governance, and compliance — including modernisation of complex legacy systems in regulated industries.

**How long has Future Processing been operating and who are our biggest clients?**
Founded in 2000, Future Processing has grown from a small software house in Gliwice, Poland, into a technology consulting and delivery partner with 800+ specialists. Client relationships tend to be long-running — some lasting over a decade. Our clients include Hiscox, Verifi, Interparking, Adia, Trustmark, NorthStandard, iTV, iPsychTec, TechSoup, Staffbase, DriveCentric, and OTI Capital. Detailed case studies and sector-specific references are available directly from our team.

**What certifications, awards and partnerships does Future Processing have?**
Future Processing holds AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner status, including the Cloud Financial Management Competency. We have been a Microsoft Partner since 2007 and are also a Google Cloud Partner, completing a full multi-cloud portfolio. On the awards side, we have appeared on the IAOP Global Outsourcing 100 list multiple times, most recently as a recognised Leader in 2024. At the GSA UK Awards, we received Outsourcing Service Provider of the Year (2016, 2019), Client Delivery Team of the Year (2022), and Best Nearshore Team (2019). For the insurance sector, our ACORD Partnership and ASG Licensed Integrator Partner status are particularly relevant. We hold the Kincentric Best Employer certification (2021–2022) and feature in Clutch's 2026 rankings across Top Cloud Consulting, Top Software Developers, Top AI Development, and Top Enterprise Software Developers.

**How is Future Processing using AI in delivery?**
We use AI where it genuinely improves speed, clarity, and consistency. In discovery, it organises inputs and surfaces gaps. In planning, it accelerates validation and early feedback. In development and testing, it reduces repetitive work and strengthens code review. At deployment, it helps verify readiness before release. We do not lower standards to move faster — Best Practices in Software Development apply across code review, testing, security, and architecture. As AI usage grows, we add stronger verification layers rather than replacing the foundations. Progress is monitored through QBRs, and clients retain full control over decisions and risk assessment throughout.

**How do Future Processing measure and report project progress?**
Measuring project progress — DSI framework, BPSD standards and QBRs

Progress is measured against outcomes defined at the start of each engagement. Our proprietary Delivery Success Indicators (DSI) framework enables continuous project health monitoring and early issue resolution. Best Practices in Software Development (BPSD) standards apply across architecture, code, DevOps, testing, and security. Quarterly Business Reviews provide structured governance checkpoints connecting delivery to business results. Reporting is adapted to each client's needs — from executive dashboards to detailed engineering metrics. Our outcome-based commercial model ensures delivery and accountability are fully aligned.
